I've got 55 hours in... just hit maps and I've got 3 ascendancies complete! This game was hard, until I realized I could rep farm a few things and eventually power myself to trivialize it... rewards making changes and trying different approaches, and of course gear / skill checks exist! 10/10 experience so far!
Nerfing Honor dmg is good but I don't think it will solve the frustrating issue for the trial to be there. What they should do instead, is let us choose to honor restore after every room in place of gaining whatever boon that room has. This way players have choices. You can play it safe with getting honor and finish the damn thing, or risk it for more keys and loots and extra boon. This would be way more impactful and less rely on RNG to even do the trials.
Bro im a monk n got to trails boss with almost full honor. Unlike other games in this one if u hit a wall u gotta go level ans gear some more. Nerfing it so the games as boring as d4 isnt the way. If u want easy brain dead gameplay u kno which game to play
@SyntaxWyntax I am also a monk and also old poe1 player, even ascendancy 4 still more challenging fun than what we have here. I don't welcome senseless nerf, it's about flexibility which is the core of PoE. Not everyone is playing the same play style even with the same class. Of course anyone would beat the trial with 20 lv ahead and hours of trying but you gotta ask. Is it fun to do so?
Yea I feel this is a priority fix. Nothing worse than beating the trial boss then crashing to desktop and being back at the beginning when immediately logging back in 😔
They are implementing them as they get done, balancing numbers and values is faster to get out than big system or graphics issues. I think that hardware dependant things such as the crashes, random extra long loading screens, and the vast ammount of graphics bugs will take a longer amount of time (and more info from the players and their system specs)

Pretty excited by the changes in this first big patch, checkpoints and Sekhema imrpovements especially. Hopefully they can keep up the good work throughout early access and beyond!

cool! I assume it was too much to hope for changes/buffs to make bloodmages "playable" yet right? :D its the only ascendancy that feels like a character nerf instead of a buff! I dont understand why we got "all skills gain life costs equal to their base mana cost" instead of "all skills cost life instead of mana" which would make it the lifetap-on-all-skills class, which would be amazing! :D
The buff to bone skills could be a buff to blood mage depending on how it’s buffed. Detonate dead and bone storm does a lot of damage but slow or conditional. Don’t need to spam and large aoe. Maybe they need more time for larger changes to the class or not everything for it is out. Something like exsanguinate would be core if it was in Poe 2.
@deadbeats5640 for sure! I dont know if there should be these situational/conditional abilities though. Exsanguinate is high on the wishlist but I think the most we would Profit from "decreptify" or what is was called in POE1, the ability that spawns corpses out of nothing. Then sooo many boneskills would suddenly become reliable :D
@@GaleAeras Definitely, but there's just something cathartic about pointing out someone's bad take, when he was so sure about something until he actually tried it ;p
Playing trough endgame the last days, and became a bit frustrated. I ham so happy to see so many of these changes, to endgame. It will make it a lot smoother for a lot of players!
Great changes here to address some of the major issues! Hoping for some sort or checkpoint teleporting in map even if minimal. One solution if they choose NOT to add checkpoint teleporting in maps, could be just showing rares on the minimap when you are near them. so you don't miss them as easily
This should fix a lot of the biggest issues the game has now I think they still need to look at Ultimatum, which has higher lvl of mobs than Sanctum and its much harder. Also, i think the "1 death per map" is not a good adition and the POE 1 system was better This patch is a BIG WIN from GGG
As someone from NZ. It's weird to hear people talk about what time it is here. Its usally "game releases in summer 2026" and me thinking "ok summer in america, means winter here, means the day after the date they said" (A snowy at Christmas makes no sense)
I mean most of the developped country are near the ecuador so for most people summer is in the middle of the year and winter at the end/start of the year.
Sekhemas was aids as a monk; i ended up clearing the entiew thing with lightning wave. Which means i basically played a mage for the entire trial. It was unplayable in close range combat because taking and evading some damage is inherent on the class. Switched everything to ranged lightning spam and cleared it easily
"I was able to use a skill gem to compensate for my lack of game skill in a particular game mode, therefore it's bad." Interesting opinion. Taking damage isn't inherent on any class, but if you want to get hit in the face, you should have more mitigations. Not every game mode needs to suite regen builds.
@1DJRikkiBee mitigations don't matter in sekhemas, that's why they are patching it. You're taking direct damage to honor, it's not a resistance issue. My health and shield are intact and fine, but the honor "damage" ends runs because it's not a part of your resists or evasion. Melee is known for being terrible in sekhemas, hence why they're adding a modifier to distance, less honor damage when in melee range full damage when in archer range. And hence why they found the bug where we are taking 3 times the amount of damage. It's not a skill issue, it's just a terrible experience in melee range. The end boss has an aura, and existence of damage for being close to it, that's not resistances, that's direct damage to honor for simply existing next to the boss and it's doing 3x the intended damage. It's inherent to the melee class that the boss just has an aura of damage around it.
I understand why the Trial of Sekhemas have to be tough, but why are the Ascendancies so weak? Ascendancies should have NO drawbacks. The drawback is already covered in the difficulty of achieving it. Otherwise why would you work so hard to get a meh upgrade?
Wait.. does this mean we dont get the additional -20% elemental resistances anymore on T11 maps and onwards? So when we have no gear we should be at -40% resistances when you did all story unlocks? I'm having difficulty's and thought I was bugged.. I upgraded my gear to perfectly have all resistances 75%+ then the day after when I contuine to map all of a sudden they dropped.. I didnt knew that penalty was there. After learning it I had to go and buy NEW gear AGAIN.. now this patch drops, can anyone explain?
Three changes I would like to see for Endgame progression. 1) No map node should be 'Blank' by default. The map nodes become blank after you'd died once, there is no reason for them to start this way. It just creates dead nodes you have to power through to get to the good stuff, on top of any failure being punished by killing the node. 2) Nodes don't lose access to the waystone until all the portals are gone, even after failure. Once we've failed once the node is already blank anyway, so let us just continue using the waystone to clear the node. Even kill and mods on the waystone if you have to, just don't make us waste another one on the already dead map (unless we use up all 6 portals then so be it). 3) Towers should be either free or more interesting.
5:49 I literally JUST got used to looking out for the crystals on any rares I see before I even kill them, especially on those stupid maps with plants that cover the ground
The only thing i need is to unsocket runes, or at least replace them. Trying to experiment in the game is kinda hard when it feels i have to hard commit to any good weapon i am upgrading and getting mods for.
Does anyone know if there’s an issue with Pathfinders Relentless Pursuit ascendancy node? I still have mobs with cold and temporal flux slowing me down.
I was wondering why the fire DoT would do so much damage, awesome to know that wasn't intended. Also this won't make any content easier, just accessible at an earlier level which I think is a good thing. There are enough things to strive for in the end-game that ascension doesn't need to be something you complete at level 90.
Trial of Sekhemas is one of the best things in the game. Huge fan. Any improvements i am all for. I just beat the Scorpion on trial 3 and that was wild.
10:00 I'm so happy. Just halfway finished upgrading my gear for sparchmage to be res capped after t6 (I'm in t2s), basically now all I have to get on my remaining pieces to upgrade is chaos res, and fire res if it's my ring. And I can also finally use the electrocute support and get way more es and mana on my gloves instead of those aweful kitoko's gloves. Can't wait to play the new patch! Need to get my 6-link now :)
Don't GGG know that debuffs are inherently un-fun to most players, especially casual ones? And they want us to stack debuffs non-stop in the trials? Add in the honour system where you lose even if you don't die, and I think it's just a very un-fun experience. They should look at "buffing" instead and making the enemies harder.
Trial was really frustrating to me then my bud told me I didn't have to do it. I could do everything else in the act first so I've been slowly going through it.
@@oliorogue you also can skip go to vall trial yo can get 2 acendecy if also the game is still scaling like in Poe 1 part 3 you do ascension..I do like that ..
Nice, start the christmas holidays from work this weekend so looks like a great time to pick up PoE2 and run through it since we have a few patches now. Looks like the game is only improving!
Is this patch live? I swore off this game until volatile crystals was removed just today so this is great news! If it’s not live yet when does it go live?
I barely get hit by volatile crystals, because I can hear them. If anything, it's some monster that leaves exploding brown and yellow turds that blend into everything that hit me. I would've preffered to see those gone instead, to be honest. And also the weird graphic effect on killing rare monsters shouldn't exist, it's very confusing whether it will damage you or not.
Exactly. Everyone is hyped about checkpoint travel and I’m thinking: boys, why are you so hyped? they told us about that almost a week ago and we don’t have it yet 🤷♂️ In fact, they now milk the announcement twice without shipping it 😅
@@Steph1yeah I'm with you. Nothing announced addresses core issues with the game. Maps aren't fun and crafting is awful. Not even a peep regarding either problem.
@@cellamuert I think those are more significant changes that need a bit more time. What they will do is tweaking a few number to make experience a bit better untill they make more significant changes. Considering how it is holiday season basically everywhere and a lot of people are taking vacation days and all, it is not reasonable to expect they will do this bigger changes before end of the year.
@@Steph1 To implement such a drastic change takes quite a bunch of time. I also am a bit bummed that we don't have the patch with endgame changes now that I am in said endgame, but having those patches AT ALL is a very good sign
Noice, i was about to respec for over 60k gold. Eventho i expected the cost nerf, i wasnt sure when it will come. Now im waiting for the update and hope it will go live very soon.
As an aside, removing the damage modifier on electeocute is nice; but i honestly dont need a buff to lightning monk. What really desperately needs a buff is Acolyte monk. It needs an entire new approach to its intent because it is underperforming in every aspect. There isnt a ton of feed back for it, because basically everybody who went monk saw ahwad of time how terrible it was and went invoker as the obvious path
Nothing about improving performance, that for a lot of people it's actually a big problem. Content Creators seems that don't wanna talk about this, even ufficial forum is full of posts. Who cares about gameplay changes if we have stuttering and drop frames, even with high-end hardware? No you, not them.
Yea my only issue at this point. Even sometimes getting locked out of boss fights and they never die standing outside the arena so I’m without them the whole fight lol
I honestly wanted them to give us a consumable, like token of absolution (but easier to make), as well to let us respec faster I do love the cost reduction But something akin to token of absolution would have been cool, at least their take on it
The fact that you can farm and trade them means there's a niche to fill in the market as well, leading to an alternate way to achieve wealth/progress during the season. Leads to a non-obligatory but viable alternative way to play the game, which is always good.
@tobettermorrow8718 options isn't a bad thing Especially if it let's you have fun in other ways I also wish they bring their version of wart's leg 😏 Let's the rhoa's stampede
no doubt the niche and market interaction would be a positive, but recognize the primary audience for respecing are players that need to dramaticaly change/reimagine thier build. These players are further more likely to be new/uneducated players. As such any further hoops to jump through, like using/trading relevant currency would not be a net benefit in my opinion. I think ggg knows this and uses gold to respec for that reason
Dang just got off work and watched your earlier content and now this video. Thanks for all your hard work in bringing us Exiles all the information we need as we all grind.
Brother is on fire with the consistent and interesting opinion/discussion videos, but i feel like not enough people are discussing how distracting the free tickets to the gun show are!
it says electrocute not shock electrocute is an extra ailment a support gem provides at the cost of -40% damage they basically removed the damage and lowered the 2nd ailments buildup but itll be about the same with no dmg loss due do ailments scaling more % higher dmg
YAAAAAY CHAOS DOT BUFFS!! I've been trying a Chaos DoT build for my witch, and while it's absolutely bonkers for mobs, I've really struggled on high-health, single-target enemies (rares/bosses). If they have any kind of cleave, I lose my meat shields and spend most of the fight dodge-rolling, while my 2-3 DoTs tick ever so slowly away at their health. It's an absolute slog to get through. Looking forward to see what exactly this entails =D
@Steph1 Oh yes. I stuck Heightened Curse, Impending Doom, and one other support (idr) on it. The result is a -41% chaos resistance, a chaos DoT, and an explosion of chaos dmg that applies the curse (and the DoT and explosion) to nearby enemies alongside Contagion. It's basically a chain reaction of chaos lol. Add Dark Effigy (I think it's called) if more dps is needed.
The issue is, a boss has nothing to chain, so it's just 2-3 minor DoTs and a small explosion to dmg them, along with whatever spells I can get out myself. So a buff to the DoTs won't actually change the mob combat (it's Doomblast that deals the dmg), but it will dramatically help with boss dps. Edit: ESPECIALLY since I'm a blood mage. Spellcasting takes my health as well as mana, so I'm much more dependent on my life flask than other builds. I basically have a soft time limit of when my flask runs out.
@ sounds awesome! Do you need to cast many different spells or just 1-2? I tried contagion + chaos dot spell for a few levels but was annoyed how long it takes to cast 2 different spells (due to animation cancelling instead of sequencing).
@Steph1 Not many, no. Curse, Contagion, and Essence Drain is my go-to rotation; most things that survive that can usually be wanded down with Chaos Bolt. You'll just repeat the combo for separate packs that don't catch the plague. Unearth to get plague scorpions for body shields, and Dark Effigy when I'm scared lol. But yeah, in longer fights it's just about keeping the DoTs up and filling in with Chaos Bolt or Unearth for me.
Since the game was released on PS5, it would be nice if it actually ran on it. After you reach the middle of act 2, the performance is so bad that it's (for me) unplayable. FPS is frequently below 30, and the screen tearing is like something from a 90's era PC game. If you are playing a Witch with minions, this is literally all the time. Should NEVER have been sold in this condition. If Diablo 4 can run at 60 FPS regardless of what's happening on screen, then this game should too. Absolutely zero excuse.
Sounds like Bungie nerfs to me. Just nerfing anything that's overused or popular. Just becuz something is stronger than everything else, doesn't mean its op. It's only op if its significantly stronger than everything else. There will always be something that is stronger than everything else, and people will always gravitate towards it. It doesn't automatically mean its op. Do not auto-nerf popular things.
I don't really like "one life per map" yet. I just started playing them, the defense is weak, and that's why it's really annoying that I've already played 80% of the map, and then a yellow bomb appears under you on a green-yellow floor (mushroom monsters spawn them) and kills you, because it doesn't have any contrasting outline. If the additional mechanics didn't disappear or were changed to other random ones, then it would still be fine, but now you have to play an "empty" map so can explode on the next one with bonus content :)
I expect more tweaks to them in the future. Maybe the same content bonuses but nerfed? I'm honestly not sure how they will address it in the future. Smaller pool, or additional bonuses on first run clears? Sort of inverting the current system? Idk. I look forward to when they get to it.
I was using a frost wall freeze build I made on my own so this sucks. My build was slow and not even that great. Cold Snap needs frozen enemies too so if its a substantial nerf my 30+ hours are cooked. I want to know why there are no ranger nerfs. My brother is running lightning arrow ranger and deletes everything while I take forever freezing shit 😂 Brutal.
Not to be rude or anything but it sounds like your brother picked actual damaging spells and you picked support spells. Ofc it will be slower. My monk also froze everything and the freeze nerf would hurt, except everything dies in that first freeze window including bosses so I guess it's not a big deal
I use freeze a lot in my build i am making through my playthrough... Use frost wall to block off monsters in an area and then drop something more damaging at them like frost bomb or even some stronger skill, or just pepper them with frostbolts and explode them with ice nova. Idk maybe i am looking at it wrong but for me frost wall is more of a utility too keep enemies where you want them instead of main damage skill... with it i can pretty well dictate where i want them and split large groups or even stop small enemies so i can focus on bigger ones for a bit. Also, idk if you noticed and i dont know is it a bug or not but enemies will agroo frost walls and attack them sometimes, taking pressure off of you.
One item I'm still missing on the list is the large amount of HP some of the bosses have, which makes the fights last far too long for me. If the other changes make my DPS higher this might be addressed indirectly, but I can't tell just from the text if that's going to be the case. Some boss fights are easilly lasting over 15 minutes, which is exhausting and rather boring.
@@douglasmurdoch7247 that sounds more like you have too much damage and need a nerf. If poe2 is supposed to not be like poe1, this looks kinda unacceptable. Unless you're talking about t1 bosses with no difficulty increase and the other guy already has points into boss farming and does so on t15 or something. I play crossbow bleed+poison and it takes about 5 minutes on T6 for now. Of course depends on the boss.
No 15 minutes is too much, except maybe for the hardest pinnacle bosses.2-3 minutes, is expected , with normal dps.It took me five minutes to down Geonor in act 1 , with ssf gear on a sorc, day one even before trade was up.This clearly is a build or gear issue , maybe invest some more in dps
@@ΘεοδοσηςΤσιαβος I play a summoner build. The way the scepters work, I'm unsure how to get my DPS up more and gear acquisition is very slow. Even now I rarely get the right orbs to drop. I'm currently at the final boss to act 2, and his health decreases so slowly I just kinda give up. I've switched to trying to blast him with fire while he's got an exposure to fire curse on him. It doesn't really make things go faster. The summons just die.
Just hope they give us a better controller Targeting system I find it difficult to hard target a single monster hopefully they jump on it it's definitely not controller friendly 😢
Man with Trial of Sekhema, I just wish that your keys weren't one-time use since getting them is completely random. I'm fine losing and going back to the beginning, but the fact that I can't even try again unless I have a key with the same number of trials really sucks.
I think the key might be to specialize in a low cost skill/skills but idk im on the way to trying blood shield witch gunna get passive that makes your mana take damage b4 your hp so basically your mana and hp will b one pool to take damage n use skills then all ill need is high crit chance n maybe cast on crit.
I'm excited to see how they buff the bone skills. I feel they are pretty weak imo Also excited for the rolling slam and shield skills 😁 Poe2 is still the best arpg game I have ever played, since Diablo 2 res. Thank you ggg And they also NAILED melee this time around , at least for my satisfaction. Feels like I'm playing a top down dark souls lol my favorite games.
Good changes for sure, I wish they'd just tie more power to BEING melee though, not being in melee RANGE. Like, if I only use Melee weapons, THEN give me a fortify buff. The skills are tied to weapons, might as well just do this now. Then remove the buff whenever you use ranged abilities too much, like a molten blast Warrior spamming it shouldn't get it.
Good! that means that they have a good system reading played data. Since It is Early Access (betta) they should move things back and forward before it will blossom. I like it. I am not too fast with my chars... (work, life, family). But overall, I like the direction - test as much as possible before proper release!!! So far, test is going well, GGG!, keep up bringing up changes ad shuffle more, this is THE proper time for it!!!
Losing Map on death in SC needs to go, like yesterday. Worst mechanic ever, only wastes the players time by having to restart maps from the start. We already have roguelike content with Sanctums and Ultimatums, why make the entire endgame roguelike too when the GGG vision always was that there should be different types of endgame content so that people can choose what they like doing.
Adjuatment to lightning monk is interesting; because i was basically insta stacking and perma stun locking mobs with the electeocute gloves amd permanently operational on charged staff. My build in particular wont suffer from 25% less electrocute, but what will be a massive quality of life improvement is the removal of the less damage modifier to the electrocute support gem. This means i can finally upgrade off of the electrocute gloves in a big and meaningful way, while also gaining 20% more damage than previous because the modifier is removed
I dont think this is nearly enough to combat the myriad issues being brought up. Its good, its a start. But if we're to expect nothing else until mid January? I dunno man. Maps just don't feel good, from running them to how the atlas is designed to the death penalties. Even for EA I have been pretty disappointed so far. I guess we wait and see what's next.
It’s not confusing at all. It’s very simple. You can assign some of your skill points to your weapon sets, so you can switch weapons and have your points switch with them. Simplest example is a warrior switching between one hand and two hand weapons. When you’re in one hand, you take one hand damage nodes. When you switch to two handed weapons, it will automatically switch your skill tree points to two handed damage nodes. What in particular are you confused about?
Stuck in act three as a warrior! Follow all the youtube guided that’s been seening on TH-cam. I’m not one shotting bosses can’t barely kill mom as fast. I’m stuck in a three for the past two weeks not having fun.
This is my first arpg so idk if this is a tired complaint from the last game or others....but they gotta do something about the bots in chat spamming sites to trade on.
50% is NOT enough. gold is account bound. you completely DUMPSTER your account by wanting to change a SINGLE character. it now takes 80%! of my gold to respec half of my tree, then it will still take almost HALF of my entire gold to respec a single character at level 70.
They could at least mention their endgame philosophy, even it being changed in a bunch of months. Seems there's a lot of people waiting to know if the game will be that fast and one button mashing like POE1 or not. I know I'm one of them.
I think that until they change the base game, it will always edge you into thinking you can play it like poe1. By base game I mean that if poe2 character entered a map in poe1, the only difference would be the speed of player character and drops. It needs to be completely different.
They do not like mages 🤣 Jokes aside i am playing poison ranger now and the game is slower cus dots and i actually apreciate the game more because of it , i probably im the only person i prefer the game to be slow paced as it was in act 1 and 2 but well i guess im the minority which is fine , i just play with the cards i have and i made the game slower for me lmao next il be playing warrior.
It being slow is fine, I just don't want to spend so much time going between monster packs. Because of this even trial of sekhema would've felt better if it wasn't for honour system.
Glazers: Everything is perfect, anyone asking for change is just a crybaby. GGG: We've noticed ALOT that needs changed. Glazers: Yeah everything totally sucked, these changes are SO NECESSARY! Wtg GGG!
i dont like sanctum even if this game mode is an attempt to make poe an rougelike... in rougelikes you get some postive buffs too but... sanctum feels like you get 3-4 curses before even seeing one boon( and only if you get a merchant or fountain and have enough water to buy).
Curse and room management is part of the gameplay. Yes sometimes you totally get screwed by RNG but more often than not picking rooms that have only 1 continue or picking bad curses early screws you over. Like if you rather take "not always taken to the correct room " instead of "less maximum honor" .. thats gonna destroy your run. Rule of thumb is to never take anything that decreases the control you have or gives you random debuffs, then the next most bad things are less dmg and less movement speed ... the rest is mostly not a problem.
I agree. I have beaten numerous rougue likes/lites. And I love that style of game. But what makes them fun is the risk reward play style. There’s nothing fun about only risk with the potential promise of a reward.
@@chidori0117 the problem i have is not that i get curses but the sheer number in relation to boons. you get 3-4 curses every floor unskippeble while boons are pure rng.
What's really odd about this decision to force Sanctum on to people, was even in PoE sanctum was only ran by specific builds. It's no wonder that it's failing so miserably in PoE2
Rather then making somthing untriggerable via party members they really should jus reduce the damage when triggerd by other players to like 15 or 20% i think that would be much more fun.

What's really needed is the hard crashes/pc lock ups that has over 200 pages on the fourms and barely anything known to fix it.

One solution if they choose NOT to add checkpoint teleporting in maps, could be just showing rares on the minimap when you are near them. so you don't miss them as easily
they could just show them on map at all times, looking for them by running around aimlessly isnt really gameplay imo
This should fix a lot of the biggest issues the game has now
I think they still need to look at Ultimatum, which has higher lvl of mobs than Sanctum and its much harder. Also, i think the "1 death per map" is not a good adition and the POE 1 system was better
This patch is a BIG WIN from GGG
As someone from NZ. It's weird to hear people talk about what time it is here. Its usally "game releases in summer 2026" and me thinking "ok summer in america, means winter here, means the day after the date they said"
(A snowy at Christmas makes no sense)
I mean most of the developped country are near the ecuador so for most people summer is in the middle of the year and winter at the end/start of the year.
Playerbase: I’m so excited for this game!
GGG: Sekhema Balls!
Massive win for GGG, games should be balanced around run first rather than hard/punishing, it could be hard and fun.
I had zero issue with Sekhema as an elemental monk. Sounds like a skill issue.
Unplayable?
Not quite you just have to practice.
I just speedran it basically skipping most mobs constantly. That worked but wasn't fun at all.
Merry Christmas 🎁
No build nerfs for the holidays, have a good three weeks 👍 🎄
Find those broken builds and exploit them lol
My bell is safe for a few weeks it seems
The group play build of stacking lightning arrows with magnetic salvo got deleted, but it was disgustingly OP anyway
I understand why the Trial of Sekhemas have to be tough, but why are the Ascendancies so weak? Ascendancies should have NO drawbacks. The drawback is already covered in the difficulty of achieving it. Otherwise why would you work so hard to get a meh upgrade?
Then don’t do it but I know you will you crave that every inch power you can get no matter the cost…..welcome to poe 2
What are u smoking. Most ascendencies have insane power
Wait.. does this mean we dont get the additional -20% elemental resistances anymore on T11 maps and onwards? So when we have no gear we should be at -40% resistances when you did all story unlocks?
I'm having difficulty's and thought I was bugged.. I upgraded my gear to perfectly have all resistances 75%+ then the day after when I contuine to map all of a sudden they dropped.. I didnt knew that penalty was there. After learning it I had to go and buy NEW gear AGAIN.. now this patch drops, can anyone explain?
It is comical at this point how much they directly target any build that Jungroan makes 😂
Alternative option to 1: Currency that lets you set what you want onto those blank spots if you haven't done them yet.
5:49 I literally JUST got used to looking out for the crystals on any rares I see before I even kill them, especially on those stupid maps with plants that cover the ground
I never die to this. I literally dodge away instantly after every rare mob kill. These streamers dying to this that much boggles my mind
The only thing i need is to unsocket runes, or at least replace them. Trying to experiment in the game is kinda hard when it feels i have to hard commit to any good weapon i am upgrading and getting mods for.
Give they time also feedback for sockets I hope it can take in and out..
You mean runes?
@Steph1 yes
Someone on other channel was talking about freeze monk builds....but i can't see it here in the notes
Great! I'll wait for the new version of Trial of the Sekhemas because I had some trouble with my monk 😬

Shield skill buffs will be much appreciated.
Yeah I tried the shield slam and it was underwhelming to say the least
Is this patch live? I swore off this game until volatile crystals was removed just today so this is great news! If it’s not live yet when does it go live?
Not yet. There will be patch notes when its released. This is just a preview
Ok cool, so glad those are gonna be gone
I barely get hit by volatile crystals, because I can hear them. If anything, it's some monster that leaves exploding brown and yellow turds that blend into everything that hit me. I would've preffered to see those gone instead, to be honest. And also the weird graphic effect on killing rare monsters shouldn't exist, it's very confusing whether it will damage you or not.
This is the plan, not the patch notes
Exactly. Everyone is hyped about checkpoint travel and I’m thinking: boys, why are you so hyped? they told us about that almost a week ago and we don’t have it yet 🤷♂️

I do love the cost reduction
But something akin to token of absolution would have been cool, at least their take on it
The fact that you can farm and trade them means there's a niche to fill in the market as well, leading to an alternate way to achieve wealth/progress during the season. Leads to a non-obligatory but viable alternative way to play the game, which is always good.

no doubt the niche and market interaction would be a positive, but recognize the primary audience for respecing are players that need to dramaticaly change/reimagine thier build. These players are further more likely to be new/uneducated players. As such any further hoops to jump through, like using/trading relevant currency would not be a net benefit in my opinion. I think ggg knows this and uses gold to respec for that reason
@bigeasy3513 in addition to the gold respec
Not replacing it entirely
Why not have both options?

it says electrocute not shock electrocute is an extra ailment a support gem provides at the cost of -40% damage they basically removed the damage and lowered the 2nd ailments buildup but itll be about the same with no dmg loss due do ailments scaling more % higher dmg
This game, as is. Is still the best arpg Ive played. And I have 1400h poe 1, and 500h d4, 1000h d3, 500h d2
Does the -chaos resistance hex help much?
They need to address the D3D12 texture crash, it hits me approx every hour.
Honestly I prefer the trial of the Sekimahs over the Chaos Trials. I never like that league mechanic in PoE1.
Idk. I look forward to when they get to it.
my 74% honor resistance is very happy about that buff since im a Titan < 3
15 minutes?! That just means you have absolutely no damage. For me, bosses are lasting between 5-30 seconds.

Do we have an idea of when this will come out ?
Just hope they give us a better controller Targeting system I find it difficult to hard target a single monster hopefully they jump on it it's definitely not controller friendly 😢
Thank god they started to scale down that end game damage and I'm sure this nerf won't even be enough still.
Man with Trial of Sekhema, I just wish that your keys weren't one-time use since getting them is completely random. I'm fine losing and going back to the beginning, but the fact that I can't even try again unless I have a key with the same number of trials really sucks.
Its because this system is tied to the endgame. Maybe all 4 ascendancies should be a story quest and done with untill act 6.
Bloodmage still 10x worse than everything
I think the key might be to specialize in a low cost skill/skills but idk im on the way to trying blood shield witch gunna get passive that makes your mana take damage b4 your hp so basically your mana and hp will b one pool to take damage n use skills then all ill need is high crit chance n maybe cast on crit.

Shhhh not too loud... let's wait until the full patch notes!
when is it dropping ?
This patch couldn’t come sooner
Do we know when we should expect it?
Losing Map on death in SC needs to go, like yesterday. Worst mechanic ever, only wastes the players time by having to restart maps from the start.
We already have roguelike content with Sanctums and Ultimatums, why make the entire endgame roguelike too when the GGG vision always was that there should be different types of endgame content so that people can choose what they like doing.
You agree with the passive tree being cheap and accessible but you think body blocking should be a thing 😅.
Where will this game be out for everyone not just early access?
I dont think this is nearly enough to combat the myriad issues being brought up. Its good, its a start. But if we're to expect nothing else until mid January? I dunno man. Maps just don't feel good, from running them to how the atlas is designed to the death penalties. Even for EA I have been pretty disappointed so far. I guess we wait and see what's next.
The map tile rework isnt gonna come soon if ever sadly. The tight hallway/narrow bridge gameplay is abysmal.
another common GGG win. looking forward to continuing to smooth out the EA and getting a lot of these patches.
im just waiting for necromancer ascendancy

Lets gooo!! Love the content
I don’t understand the weapon skill points shits so confusing they need to re work it
It’s not confusing at all.

@@jadedbreadncircus9159 Can't really choose to just turn off bots lol. If it was that easy people wouldn't be setting them up
When will it come out?
50% is NOT enough. gold is account bound. you completely DUMPSTER your account by wanting to change a SINGLE character. it now takes 80%! of my gold to respec half of my tree, then it will still take almost HALF of my entire gold to respec a single character at level 70.
Come on patch, I need to respec to fix my character!

yes please buff the amount of bosses in maps GGG!
It needs to be completely different.

i dont like sanctum even if this game mode is an attempt to make poe an rougelike... in rougelikes you get some postive buffs too but... sanctum feels like you get 3-4 curses before even seeing one boon( and only if you get a merchant or fountain and have enough water to buy).
@@RexZor76 as a the binding of isaac player with 1k h played i agree^^
What's really odd about this decision to force Sanctum on to people, was even in PoE sanctum was only ran by specific builds. It's no wonder that it's failing so miserably in PoE2
Rather then making somthing untriggerable via party members they really should jus reduce the damage when triggerd by other players to like 15 or 20% i think that would be much more fun.
