Rutus Alter 71 Metal Detector in US Park

Quick hunt to see how the Rutus responds to mild ground USA modern trash coin hunting. My advice, get an X-terra 705, Nokta Impact, or better yet XP Deus instead.

3 machines ive had that bar none beat anything else, first machine, CZ-3D tuned, Literally hit gold with that thing 90% of the time a target was in gold range at up to 13 inches in depth also hit nickels every single time. Next machine was the Alter 71, and the final was the AKA Sorex. I had the very first Alter 71 in the US.

I would on all honesty say buy a Golden Mask detector, the gm1+ but there are there heavy guys in the range that cost 1/4 of the other machines you have , that can't compare,, just buy one ,, what do you have to lose Mon Ami,, 😎

Best advice, always dig the iffy signals. Simply because see-through is not perfect and the masking effect can really burn your bridge.
Forget those modulated boosted signals. You want the ones that barely whisper a crackle at you.

I personally would not take your recommendation as your detectng in Modern park.
This machine kills the Deus..hands down..

Why didn't you use the Rutus in factory tones? I have been running the Rutus for months now and see no reason not to use the factory tones, I use mine up against a Nokia Impact and an XP Deus and the Rutus is an equal match for both out in the field.
If I could only have one detector, it would be the Rutus, the only weak area is the wireless module in my opinion.

It's a great machine. But has a little learning curve. I get a really small nickel at 20cm. Freq. 10 kHz. Reaction 2. Masking 2. It hits hard. Was Forrest ground btw.

Sounds like a UFO
