Well fact is ,I do have a very strong accent. It is what it is, and if some people have problems understanding me...well, at least I can work text into tutorials so at least in those the accent is not a barrier 😀
@@ramjb I admire and applaud your english as a second language. I've been trying to learn german and I'm sure I sound like an unintelligible cowboy with the vocabulary of a toddler to a german ear. As far as accents go, back when I first started listening I found that after a video or two I was fully used to it. So anyone who may have complained was probably a new viewer. And new viewers mean good things. So well done and keep at it.
Thanks for doing it for the release version! (your english is fine once you tune into your spanish accent.. people that are complaining are just lacking in neuroplasticity or have never heard a different language than 'Murican.. don't let them talk you down, brother!)
Thank you for your kind words. It's an issue, not gonna deny it, and more than once has sapped my will to keep on doing videos. But I'd rather adapt, work a little bit more adding text to at least help those who don't understand my english very well, and keep on trying :). Believe me, posts like yours help a lot keeping the effort up. Thanks again! :)
Having a lot of fun with the game, never been into subsim/naval sims and I think I'm discovering a new passion. Thank you for you guides, I've been quite successful thanks to them! I'm even confident enough to do my own thing with regards to crew management (I'm making my officers work way harder than you suggest 😈)
Well all tutorials are guides, and as such using them as base for your own improvements/changes, that's the whole point of the tutorial. I'm really glad they're working well for you. And I'm not surprised you've been bitten by the naval simulations/strategy bug, at all :D :D. Glad I am being of help! :)
10:50 Note that this is the torpedo impact angle. It accounts for the path of the torpedo and target motion to predict the intersection at impact. In this case you are shooting from the target's forward-right at a 270 relative bearing. Instead of hitting directly from periscope to target the opposite direction of the AOB torpedo will impact almost on the target nose. This is because of the large arc of torpedo path.
Well I know my accent is exceedingly heavy, can't complain if some people find my english hard to understand at times. At least what I can do is try to minimize the problem with on-screen text to make sure that I get the point across, hopefully that'll help. Thanks a lot to you for your support! :)
Thanks a lot. It's hard for me, after putting a lot of work and illusion in the content I produce, to see that for some people my accent is such a problem. I try to make useful videos that help viewers having fun with the games I produce content of, so for me it's a real downer to see that some can't get that benefit of what I do because they don't understand me well. And at this point I can tell for sure my spoken english is not getting any better. Because I've tried many things, none of them have helped... Glad to see not everyone has that issue :). I'll keep doing what I do, no worries.
This is more tutorial-y. My previous C/37 tutorial I was in the middle of a convoy attack and was as focused on that as I was on explaining the TDC...this is much more focused, I think, which is kind of the point for a tutorial video... And you're more than welcome! :)
Yes, and the mod, as good as it was, wasn't as perfectly replicated as the models now in-game. They truly went one step beyond anyone else in the past, and built in the real thing into the game, that's how accurately portrayed both TDC models are :).
This is the kind of comment that really rewards what I do. Really, really glad to see the video helped you out!. And now you sank your first target on manual, there'll be lots and lots to follow! :).
I have watched the video and re-watched a couple of times and I still find it confusing. Subtitles helped with some things you say. But, to me, the separated explaining is what makes it difficult to understand.
if you do exactly the same, then probably your target data was wrong. I mean, I'm not making anything up in this video, you can check on my uploaded careers to verify what you see here is what I do there, and I rarely miss a shot... Anyway, with the C/37 model TDC the most reliable (and personally, less stressful) way to shoot at targets is the second instance. Aim-to-bearing, and wait for the target to cross the vertical line. But even then, if you get the target data wrong then you might miss...
english aside, you get way too fast after minute 17:30, you are jumping from action to action. And it certainly does not help, if you click stuff without saying why you do so. i try to repeat it, but i dont really understand, which angle you get from what
It’s a great video and I appreciate the effort you placed into it but honestly your English is near gibberish to me, try using a AI text to voice or something like that
I understand you perfectly. Don't know what anybody is complaining about.

Loved your last one too (and found it super helpful!) but this one's also great. Thanks for making this content!

Thank you for the quick upload on this. It was a mod and now it's in the game it seems. All the best! 👍

Thanks very much for all of your tutorials. They have helped my gameplay a lot. Keep up the great work! /cheers
You're more than welcome, really happy to see that my content is helping people enjoy the game! :)
Thank you!
You're very welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Tu eres español, no?
Jajajaja como nos reconocemos los unos a los otros :D

But, to me, the separated explaining is what makes it difficult to understand.
What the hell? I do literally the same as the first shot and miss 80% of the times. Often from much closer.
if you do exactly the same, then probably your target data was wrong.
