Please help me understand why you adjust this pump up 70% without knowing the K factor of the bowl and the shaft diameter, shaft elongation and pump setting. I think this video could be miss leading or incorrect without all of the information. This video makes it sound lie all turbine pumps get adjusted 70% what if it was open impellers? I think this video should be redone with the right info
He's only setting the lateral of the pump (the available space for stack adjustment). The stack height would be adjusted when the pump is installed - to proper impeller height based on thrust, shaft and column elongation, impeller/pump weight etc.
