I have an elite controller and i never use the paddles... it messes me up the paddles are way too easy to push on accident so i took up playing claw... difficult but better
To all you whiners crying "IT IS CHEATING". Then using my Dolby surround sound headset is cheating as it gives me a greater advantage over people listening to the game though their TV stereo speakers. Then using my computer monitor with an extremely low input lag of a mere 5 ms is cheating as it gives me a greater advantage over someone playing on a TV which may have and very high input lag of anything from 50 ms to over 120 ms input lag!!! If my ping is better due to my location to sever is also this cheating as it gives me an advantage? If I use WIFI or Ethernet this will change if I am at an advantage/disadvantage Just because I research and pay for better equipment to fine tune my FPS effectiveness doesn't make me a cheater. It makes me a smarter gamer. Why restrict my experience to the level of cheap noobs if more sophisticated equipment is available.
when it comes to competitive, it would be unfair to play controller vs mouse/keyboard. Same like if a mouse/keyboard player in console goes to pc, they will get destroyed. Mouse/keyboard gives an extreme advantage and can increase someone's skill level.
The thing is you know you'll have much better control with a keyboard and mouse when it comes to FPS games than someone who uses a regular controller. Don't deny that you have faster turning ability on the keyboard and mouse than you do on controller.

The reality is there're several important factors in console FPS gaming that give distinct advantages and disadvantages to players. The idea that console gaming is a level playing field is a myth, it's closer than PC's but still has far too many variables to be considered equal (particularly with something as hair spitting as FPS kills decisions). Yes, KB+M is better, that is precisely why people should embrace it. There is talk of PS + XBOX going down this road officially eventually, but as of right now they have stated they don't consider the use of KB+M cheating. This advancement in console gaming should be welcomed. We really shouldn't have to hold back the evolution of console gaming just to appease casual gamers, most of which are at a disadvantage as soon as they press the power on button. I'm passionate about FPS that's why I've spent 2-3 times my consoles worth getting other equipment to make my experience the best it can be. I still struggle with me strategy to get an average K/D ratio. In any sports high quality equipment is considered fine regardless of what you opponent has, why not in gaming.
It doesn't increase skill level. Spending hours in games does. All mouse and keyboard do is giving you a massive control advantage. So it does give an advantage but only if you play good.

It just makes my gaming experience better. It's gives an advantage, but it is only one of many device choices that give gamers an advantage, like headsets for instant, I've a massive advantage over those who don't have headsets. Monitors vs TV determine lag, official/third party controllers determines lag, wireless or wired controller gives lag. Ping rate, Ethernet or WiFi creates lag. All that lag adds up, these factors effect game play, so even between players using controllers there are some players at a big disadvantage if they go with the unfavorable choices of the above. It's a myth that controller only console gaming is a level playing field, it simply isn't.
It is made out of apparently being the only m+kb adapter to provide a true 1:1 input experience :-(( I mean i bought it and i am happy with my purchase but i was shocked at how much these things costs..cheaper competitors that dont even work go for as much as $80!!!

That's not strictly true I think , someone coming from controller to a gaming mouse will just need practice .Play with the interface to find your personal sweet spot , life is about adapting and adjusting to new things.To tell people to just give up and forget it is silly .You probably will end up with RSI if you are a hardcore player using poxy DS4, I hate them !
It’s cheating with keyboard and mouse you have zero recoil turn sensitivity up to be compatible with the use of the mouse and flicks it’s not allowed in MlG and it gives you a huge advantage over players using controller sense console already has aim assist
Nathan Haynes yes. It's cheating because it's miles ahead of controllers. Console wasn't made with Keyboard and mouse in mind. The accuracy is way better as well. It's just unfair. All Scuf does is add extra buttons. The elite controller isn't even worth 150$ because it adds nothing important. Just a few extra buttons again.
I couldn't agree more. Great video!. I only play a few FPS on PC: BF2 and Lead4Dead2 per more than a 5 years. I loose the practice with a joystick to the point I'm incapacitated to do anything. Then I want to play consoles again, but only for casual player and enjoyment, I'm a very busy guy and I don't have the time to relearn the gamepad/joystick curve, I only want to enjoy new consoles FPS games. I find out the XIM4, I have it and I love it, I mean LOOOOVE IT. Just like you said, I'm an average joe on PC with a nice KD, nothing spectacular but good enough, without the XIM4 I'm was doing horrible on consoles, a big negative KD, frustrating gaming experiences. Since I use XIM4, I got back the experience I have from years of playing on PC, now to the console. Same KD, same enjoyment; I don't have the advantage on other players, still get my ass kicked for very good players and pros. As the way I see XIM4 only allow me to transfer my expertise on PC to the console. However do requires to be patient to make a lot of adjustments to find the sweet spot, and you have to disable aim assist and there is a little of input lag, I think scuff controllers are more and advantage if you are a competitive player may will be a better tool for you. Great analogy with the steering wheel and the arcade fighting gamepad, it is exactly what it is. IMO FPS were created to play with a keyboard and mouse. Greetings Keep up the good work!
Listen, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I personally don't think m/kb is cheating. I actually own a xim4, and it was the best purchase I've ever made. If you care to know why, then keep reading, if not then go to the bottom of my comment for the TL;DR: I started gaming at a very young age, and I started on a pc. I asked 3 different family members to get together and get me one for christmas. It was amazing and i never looked back. Fast forward a couple years and im 22, i have a car, my own apartment, a live in girlfriend(and those are more expensive than any bill lmao). Then one day my apartment gets broken into, and all my valuables including my pc that i had saved 6 months to buy gets stolen. With all the bills I have, I cannot afford another pc, and with a child on the way another pc was out of the question. But my passion for all things video games, a love that had been born 12 years ago made me go ahead and buy a 360. I started using a controller and was completely terrible. I bought all my favorite games, and was NOWHERE NEAR as good as i was on pc. Fast forward 3 years to now. I play a game called Rainbow 6 Siege. For those who don't know of the game but happen to like FPS games, i suggest you check it out. Its a great game but it can be very punishing, such as one headshot is an instant kill, with any weapon from pistol to assault rifle. I also play this game at a pretty competitive level. I got pretty good with a controller after 3 years, but it was still nowhere near like a m/kb to me. Why do I bring this game up? Because i play at Diamond Rank(the highest competitive rank you can get in the game). A rank i achieved before purchasing an input converter like the Xim4. After i bought the Xim4 i dodnt play cpmpetitive for about a week till i got used to using a m/kb again. 6 months ago i started playing competitive again but with a m/kb, and i still get rekt by good players sometimes. TL;DR I feel like it comes down to personal preference and what you're most comfortable with. I've also noticed that people who see it as cheating, tend to show a pattern. Which is, they think they are good, then get rekt by someone that openly admits to using m/kb. Instead of admitting they probably aren't as good as they thought, they chalk it up to cheating. I'm guessing it makes them feel better. Dunno, just my 2 cents. ;)
D3ATH there's no advantage . It is proven that you can do anything with a controller you can with xim 4. You just have to get good with thumb sticks. M+kb just has a shorter learning curve . And saying a shorter learning curve is cheating means that scuf is cheating because you can just learn how to play claw but paddles give you a shorter learning curve
Dovante Johnson scuds are still controllers and don't help at all anything you can do with a scud you can do with a normal controller easily and mouse and keyboard IS better and unfair there are multiple tests putting pc verses console because it IS better so what you point?
Having a scuff is no way the same as having a mouse the amount of precision you have with a mouse is so unfair. People with Scuff still have to use analog sticks to aim.

A couple of friends of mine play Star Wars Battlefront on the PS4 and I wanted to play together with them too but as a PC gamer I really hate aiming with a controller.. Also they keep saying that I suck at it.. But now it's payback time!! (ofc I'm not telling them I bought the Xim4) ;)
Im very competitive, but on PC. and using a mouse and keyboard is allowed just for browsing the internet and typing ( at least on ps4) so playing games with the k&m shouldnt be considered as cheating. if Sony and microsoft thought this was cheating, they would have patched this by now. Possibly by seeing if a controller was being used or what not. Sometimes using a keyboard on agame would make life way easier and if you r willing to pay 100 too 200 dollar to ply on console with a k&m i would say that its fine. its more of an add on i guess. Coming from knowing some history, the XIM guys would sue Microsoft/Sony if they disable their device for "lost profit" or some shit. It's more hassle to them to do it because of business things. Your example above is also pretty bad. Console games aren't programmed with keyboard controls which is why the XIM exists and does what it does. It takes the input from whichever controller and translates it to whichever controller so the console sees it as something else. It kinda is cheating when you're using outside, 3rd party devices that make the game work differently. Your example is awful because PC games have support for both types built-in, requiring no 3rd party devices to trick them into thinking you're using something you're not. And why are you using Rocket League as an example? You honestly think people play with M&K in that game? Analog control beats digital control.

as a pc COD player this XIM4 is the solution for me keep playing COD. PC is almost death if you look at player numbers so the solution is going to consoles but i hate controllers. Looking forward to try it out soon. Great review btw!
It is detectable by other experienced pc players. If the character jitters, turns, spins fast and is super accurate from full sprint instakill you can tell someone is using
You cannot compare the elite controller to a keyboard and mouse. They are two different things when a controller scrolls passed a center target from 2 to 3 pixels (pro players on console) where as a mouse can stop dead on a single pixel (pro pc players). If it was not unfair to use then every game would be cross platform. In blizzards official statement on the most recent popular game overwatch they said it would literally be unfair and unplayable to have pc players play against console players which everybody who isnt trying to justify this tech sees. Yes it is cool that you can do this but do you have an advantage the answer is yes. Is it cheating no but when consoles move more towards pc I dont wanna see a single post when the guys you are playing against are using aimbot... You know it will happen
Cross platform problems like Blizzard are stating are very overrated. They just dont want to burn their fingers on it to prevent pissing off the PC or the console camp, but it would have been solved already if console players have a bit more aim assist then usual in example.
You understand it’s limited to what a controller can do, it’s nothing like pc, you can’t go past the console in game sensitivity, you will love your mouse fast and it will barely move, you move it slow and it will go fast, it’s nothing like pc
The reason this is cheating is on PC you have no aim assist due to the fact you can be very accurate on a keyboard and mouse. On console games, players have aim assist to assist you in not having the same type of control you have on pc. In a competitive situation a Keyboard and mouse player would have a HUGE advantage with the advantage of the precision of the mouse AND the aim assist you would have because of you being on console.

For competitive gaming a xim4 is cheating, if you don' think so, stop playing competitive games. It is the BIGGEST advantage someone can have. Keyboard and mouse was not meant to be used a consoles.
why? using the controller that you are most comfortable with or one that suits the game best should not be viewed as cheating as long as one input leads to one output. with the xim4 there is argument that one movement of the mouse could lead to multiple outputs but the same thing occurs with a joystick. the thing is a keyboard and mouse can be used on consoles. go plug them to the usb port of an xbox and you can control certain aspects but some games don't allow it. you are still yet to explain how or why it is cheating you just say it offers an advantage and expect us to know what you mean
Yes, you would say you are god with M/KB and aim assist, but it actually is not always that great. Especially on BF4 where you have to aim against on the recoil pattern. Sometimes I turned Aim assist off for that. Also the PS4 30 fps limit on BF4 did not really help to get stable shots against the weapon recoil pattern.
Not cheating, you play the Game by it's rules. Case Closed. If you say it's cheating then prove it by showing me the part of Sony/MS's ToS where it says that XIm is cheating. (Scuf is also Third Party)
Mampfie scuf is third party but it's still a controller. It provides no accuracy improvements. Kb&m does. Especially if you have a Gaming Mouse. The accuracy is mental compared to analog sticks.
doesnt matter what mouse you have, Consoles have a limited turn speed in Shooters. so it doesnt matter if you use a 50$ "Gaming" Mouse or the cheap ass 5$ Mouse. Also Sony is selling its own Mouse+Keyboard Set for PS4 the TAC4. Alot of games have build in Input Lag (Doom, Overwatch, The Division, Battlefield 1) and it allready feels weird with a Controller, i tried those Games with Mouse and it was unplayable (for me). Controller users still have their Aim Assist. So stop bitching about ppl using Mouse and Keyboard on Consoles (its 100% allowed). Oh and about Custom Controllers, they give you better Aim because their Sticks are more sensible, its easier with them to be accurate (i know that because my Brother uses a 200$ Burn Controller). Its like Day and Night how much better they are.
just saw this video and saw his set up...exact same set up as mime but my pad is a hard surface speed pad . it feels amazing. I been using the xim4 for a while now and at first I hated it since I never played PC before so I decided to give it a try and it took a while to learn but I prefer it better than a controller. I dont have money to get a good gaming rig but this is a start so when I do get my rig eventually I'd have the basics down :)
its definitely detectable in the bo3 part, you can see very tiny movements in the screen thats top right top left bottom left/right that you wouldn't see in gameplay on a controller.. almost like view bobbing

people using mouse / keyboard on xbox/ps are cheating, fact of the matter is consoles are designed so everyone has the saame equipment to create a fair playing field, as yourself this are you better at anything over a controller? the reality is you can make all the excuses you like its cheating. and microsoft and sony will end up banning people for using them.
I think this is a good tool, and definly not cheating. Why not? The main argument is that "mouse isn't made for console/ is too précise " or thing like that .._ but if mouse is cheating ,why would sony sell kind of mouse+keyboard pad for their systems? I play rainbow 6 siege on the ps4 and I go up against these keyboard and mouse players who would just run in rooms and rip us all up. It's fucking cheating cause youre a lot more accurate and you can react a lot faster. Almost all the games in console is also in PC, if you wanna use MKB go to PC or stop playing. You're ruining it for us console players.

i feel like you're sensitivity is so high that you wouldn't notice the difference between the change, i think its much more noticeable when you drop your sensitivity for delay and smoothness.
Depends on what kind of player you are. I hate low sens, always been a high sens player. Ideal would be to have a high hip sens, and a (very) low ADS sens. That is what most Xim4 users have :)

Prevenge HD There's no input lag and the 30fps is constantly at 30, never fluctuates, so it looks fine.. it's not to get a pc feeling ffs, it's just if you want to use m and kb on console.
its not cheating thats like saying using a steering wheel for a driving game or a joystick for a flight sim is cheating or in PC terms your logic suggests using an optical mouse vs a ball mouse is cheating or someone using a GTX1080 vs someone with a GTX660 is cheating due to the hardware advantage or in the PS1 days using a controller with thumbsticks vs one without is cheating a better system would be a 1 handed thumbstick controller for precise movement and a mouse for aiming even so i mop the floor with most controller players using my laptops touch pad hows that for cheating i kick their asses with a fucking touch pad

I think he was referring to the video capture function to show game play from the PS4 is only 720p. If you capture video on a PC using proper software, you can record game play at higher res.
He was apologizing to the youtube audience because the quality of this video dropped when he was showing video captured from a console. The reason it dropped was because video captured from consoles is only capable at video capturing at 720p

One thing to keep in mind with black ops 3 is you can turn OFF the aim assist. I am sure that would help out greatly! I am really thinking about picking this xim4 up. Originally was a pc gamer switched to console.

Aim assist really helping, but not everywhere. In a call of duty, im always turn assist ON, but in bf4 aim assist is very bad working, and there im turn him off. And Battlefront too off.
blizzard has stated it wants more people to switch to mouse/kb for overwatch (since top 500 console players have already been using mouse/kb) its not cheating, its not unfair, console gaming is evolving, mouse and kb becoming new standard for console. excited, cant wait, too bad for now have to pay 150$ to use mouse kb. If blizzard wants more competitive feel on console, im all for it

To make more drastic turns you would have to pick the mouse up and reset its position to continue moving in any given direction. However, there are gaming mouses with track balls built so that you can use them with your fingers. That compensates for the turning limitations of a regular mouse. Combine that with the increased pinpoint accuracy of a mouse and the ability to use macro commands, and you have an obvious "advantage" [exploit] for people who "prefer" [will handicap with] the use of keyboard and mouse.

Almost every console game doesn't support keyboard and mouse in the actual coding of the game. A device like this is required because they are actually sending signals to the console as though they were a controller. That's what allows you to use the keyboard and mouse in-game, because you're working around the intended design. Try signing up for a console tourney and showing up trying to plug in your mouse and keyboard dawg...let me know how that works out for you breh...
Im currently planning on getting a converter to switch from controller to mouse and keyboard im above average with the controller but i still would like a mouse and keyboard because if i can master the keyboard and mouse then i feel that would give me an advantage in games like rainbow six siege and cod

damn It yes, getting the correct mouse is the single most important thing to get the xim working properly. you need a mouse with on board memory and high dpi
Having recently played against an experienced Pharah on console using KBM, and being an experienced console FPS player, I can confirm this is actually gamebreaking for Overwatch on console. More awareness needs to be raised and this needs to be banned from use on Overwatch - the advantage is too great. It's being used in Competitive to great effect and even the most skilled console teams are struggling against it.
We PC gamers who have friends who cannot afford a decent PC to game with need this adaptor and YES we have a MUCH higher advantage over your controllers as it comes down to precision, mechanical keyboards and high DPI laser mice. It's NOT cheating, it's using a style that's been around for a lot longer than consoles.

I think it's game developers who don't put that support into their games. You can use keyboard and mouse on PS4 for the interface and web browser..

Nathan Haynes yes. It's cheating because it's miles ahead of controllers. Console wasn't made with Keyboard and mouse in mind. The accuracy is way better as well. It's just unfair. All Scuf does is add extra buttons. The elite controller isn't even worth 150$ because it adds nothing important. Just a few extra buttons again.
If you don't think a scuf controller gives you an advantage they you are either shit anyway or you have never used a scuf controller.

I only play a few FPS on PC: BF2 and Lead4Dead2 per more than a 5 years. I loose the practice with a joystick to the point I'm incapacitated to do anything.
Then I want to play consoles again, but only for casual player and enjoyment, I'm a very busy guy and I don't have the time to relearn the gamepad/joystick curve, I only want to enjoy new consoles FPS games.
I find out the XIM4, I have it and I love it, I mean LOOOOVE IT.
Just like you said, I'm an average joe on PC with a nice KD, nothing spectacular but good enough, without the XIM4 I'm was doing horrible on consoles, a big negative KD, frustrating gaming experiences. Since I use XIM4, I got back the experience I have from years of playing on PC, now to the console. Same KD, same enjoyment; I don't have the advantage on other players, still get my ass kicked for very good players and pros.
As the way I see XIM4 only allow me to transfer my expertise on PC to the console. However do requires to be patient to make a lot of adjustments to find the sweet spot, and you have to disable aim assist and there is a little of input lag, I think scuff controllers are more and advantage if you are a competitive player may will be a better tool for you. Great analogy with the steering wheel and the arcade fighting gamepad, it is exactly what it is. IMO FPS were created to play with a keyboard and mouse.

I personally don't think m/kb is cheating. I actually own a xim4, and it was the best purchase I've ever made. If you care to know why, then keep reading, if not then go to the bottom of my comment for the TL;DR:
I started gaming at a very young age, and I started on a pc. I asked 3 different family members to get together and get me one for christmas. It was amazing and i never looked back. Fast forward a couple years and im 22, i have a car, my own apartment, a live in girlfriend(and those are more expensive than any bill lmao). Then one day my apartment gets broken into, and all my valuables including my pc that i had saved 6 months to buy gets stolen. With all the bills I have, I cannot afford another pc, and with a child on the way another pc was out of the question. But my passion for all things video games, a love that had been born 12 years ago made me go ahead and buy a 360. I started using a controller and was completely terrible. I bought all my favorite games, and was NOWHERE NEAR as good as i was on pc.
Fast forward 3 years to now. I play a game called Rainbow 6 Siege. For those who don't know of the game but happen to like FPS games, i suggest you check it out. Its a great game but it can be very punishing, such as one headshot is an instant kill, with any weapon from pistol to assault rifle. I also play this game at a pretty competitive level. I got pretty good with a controller after 3 years, but it was still nowhere near like a m/kb to me. Why do I bring this game up? Because i play at Diamond Rank(the highest competitive rank you can get in the game). A rank i achieved before purchasing an input converter like the Xim4. After i bought the Xim4 i dodnt play cpmpetitive for about a week till i got used to using a m/kb again. 6 months ago i started playing competitive again but with a m/kb, and i still get rekt by good players sometimes.
TL;DR I feel like it comes down to personal preference and what you're most comfortable with. I've also noticed that people who see it as cheating, tend to show a pattern. Which is, they think they are good, then get rekt by someone that openly admits to using m/kb. Instead of admitting they probably aren't as good as they thought, they chalk it up to cheating. I'm guessing it makes them feel better. Dunno, just my 2 cents. ;)

D3ATH there's no advantage . It is proven that you can do anything with a controller you can with xim 4. You just have to get good with thumb sticks. M+kb just has a shorter learning curve . And saying a shorter learning curve is cheating means that scuf is cheating because you can just learn how to play claw but paddles give you a shorter learning curve

Having a scuff is no way the same as having a mouse the amount of precision you have with a mouse is so unfair. People with Scuff still have to use analog sticks to aim.

A couple of friends of mine play Star Wars Battlefront on the PS4 and I wanted to play together with them too but as a PC gamer I really hate aiming with a controller.. Im very competitive, but on PC. and using a mouse and keyboard is allowed just for browsing the internet and typing ( at least on ps4) so playing games with the k&m shouldnt be considered as cheating. if Sony and microsoft thought this was cheating, they would have patched this by now. Possibly by seeing if a controller was being used or what not. Sometimes using a keyboard on agame would make life way easier and if you r willing to pay 100 too 200 dollar to ply on console with a k&m i would say that its fine. its more of an add on i guess. Coming from knowing some history, the XIM guys would sue Microsoft/Sony if they disable their device for "lost profit" or some shit. It's more hassle to them to do it because of business things.
Your example above is also pretty bad. Console games aren't programmed with keyboard controls which is why the XIM exists and does what it does. It takes the input from whichever controller and translates it to whichever controller so the console sees it as something else. It kinda is cheating when you're using outside, 3rd party devices that make the game work differently. Your example is awful because PC games have support for both types built-in, requiring no 3rd party devices to trick them into thinking you're using something you're not. And why are you using Rocket League as an example? You honestly think people play with M&K in that game? Analog control beats digital control.

as a pc COD player this XIM4 is the solution for me keep playing COD. PC is almost death if you look at player numbers so the solution is going to consoles but i hate controllers. Looking forward to try it out soon.

You cannot compare the elite controller to a keyboard and mouse. They are two different things when a controller scrolls passed a center target from 2 to 3 pixels (pro players on console) where as a mouse can stop dead on a single pixel (pro pc players). If it was not unfair to use then every game would be cross platform. In blizzards official statement on the most recent popular game overwatch they said it would literally be unfair and unplayable to have pc players play against console players which everybody who isnt trying to justify this tech sees. Yes it is cool that you can do this but do you have an advantage the answer is yes. Is it cheating no but when consoles move more towards pc I dont wanna see a single post when the guys you are playing against are using aimbot... You know it will happen
Cross platform problems like Blizzard are stating are very overrated. They just dont want to burn their fingers on it to prevent pissing off the PC or the console camp, but it would have been solved already if console players have a bit more aim assist then usual in example.

The reason this is cheating is on PC you have no aim assist due to the fact you can be very accurate on a keyboard and mouse. On console games, players have aim assist to assist you in not having the same type of control you have on pc. In a competitive situation a Keyboard and mouse player would have a HUGE advantage with the advantage of the precision of the mouse AND the aim assist you would have because of you being on console.

why? using the controller that you are most comfortable with or one that suits the game best should not be viewed as cheating as long as one input leads to one output. with the xim4 there is argument that one movement of the mouse could lead to multiple outputs but the same thing occurs with a joystick. the thing is a keyboard and mouse can be used on consoles. go plug them to the usb port of an xbox and you can control certain aspects but some games don't allow it. you are still yet to explain how or why it is cheating you just say it offers an advantage and expect us to know what you mean

Yes, you would say you are god with M/KB and aim assist, but it actually is not always that great. Especially on BF4 where you have to aim against on the recoil pattern. Sometimes I turned Aim assist off for that. Also the PS4 30 fps limit on BF4 did not really help to get stable shots against the weapon recoil pattern.

Mampfie scuf is third party but it's still a controller. It provides no accuracy improvements. Kb&m does. Especially if you have a Gaming Mouse. The accuracy is mental compared to analog sticks.
doesnt matter what mouse you have, Consoles have a limited turn speed in Shooters. so it doesnt matter if you use a 50$ "Gaming" Mouse or the cheap ass 5$ Mouse. Also Sony is selling its own Mouse+Keyboard Set for PS4 the TAC4. Alot of games have build in Input Lag (Doom, Overwatch, The Division, Battlefield 1) and it allready feels weird with a Controller, i tried those Games with Mouse and it was unplayable (for me). Controller users still have their Aim Assist. So stop bitching about ppl using Mouse and Keyboard on Consoles (its 100% allowed).
Oh and about Custom Controllers, they give you better Aim because their Sticks are more sensible, its easier with them to be accurate (i know that because my Brother uses a 200$ Burn Controller). Its like Day and Night how much better they are.

just saw this video and saw his set up...exact same set up as mime but my pad is a hard surface speed pad . it feels amazing. I been using the xim4 for a while now and at first I hated it since I never played PC before so I decided to give it a try and it took a while to learn but I prefer it better than a controller. I dont have money to get a good gaming rig but this is a start so when I do get my rig eventually I'd have the basics down :)

its definitely detectable in the bo3 part, you can see very tiny movements in the screen thats top right top left bottom left/right that you wouldn't see in gameplay on a controller.. almost like view bobbing

The main argument is that "mouse isn't made for console/ is too précise " or thing like that .._ but if mouse is cheating ,why would sony sell kind of mouse+keyboard pad for their systems? It's fucking cheating cause youre a lot more accurate and you can react a lot faster. Almost all the games in console is also in PC, if you wanna use MKB go to PC or stop playing. Depends on what kind of player you are. I hate low sens, always been a high sens player. Ideal would be to have a high hip sens, and a (very) low ADS sens. That is what most Xim4 users have :)

I think he was referring to the video capture function to show game play from the PS4 is only 720p. If you capture video on a PC using proper software, you can record game play at higher res.

One thing to keep in mind with black ops 3 is you can turn OFF the aim assist. I am sure that would help out greatly! I am really thinking about picking this xim4 up. Originally was a pc gamer switched to console.

Aim assist really helping, but not everywhere. In a call of duty, im always turn assist ON, but in bf4 aim assist is very bad working, and there im turn him off. And Battlefront too off.

+XIMGameplay Yea, maybe...if you're talking about the regular style mouse and keyboard. That's because the mouse ball has to travel with the mouse itself to create movement. To make more drastic turns you would have to pick the mouse up and reset its position to continue moving in any given direction. However, there are gaming mouses with track balls built so that you can use them with your fingers. That compensates for the turning limitations of a regular mouse. Combine that with the increased pinpoint accuracy of a mouse and the ability to use macro commands, and you have an obvious "advantage" [exploit] for people who "prefer" [will handicap with] the use of keyboard and mouse.

You're allowed to use a keyboard and mouse on a console, but it's for non-gaming elements of console use. Almost every console game doesn't support keyboard and mouse in the actual coding of the game. A device like this is required because they are actually sending signals to the console as though they were a controller. That's what allows you to use the keyboard and mouse in-game, because you're working around the intended design. Try signing up for a console tourney and showing up trying to plug in your mouse and keyboard dawg...let me know how that works out for you breh...

Yes it will work, but there is no point to it since the input lag that comes with wireless kb/m is very high as opposed to wired.

Having recently played against an experienced Pharah on console using KBM, and being an experienced console FPS player, I can confirm this is actually gamebreaking for Overwatch on console. More awareness needs to be raised and this needs to be banned from use on Overwatch - the advantage is too great. It's being used in Competitive to great effect and even the most skilled console teams are struggling against it.
Sorry if this is a dumb question but do I need a PC to set this up with my PS4?

We PC gamers who have friends who cannot afford a decent PC to game with need this adaptor and YES we have a MUCH higher advantage over your controllers as it comes down to precision, mechanical keyboards and high DPI laser mice. It's NOT cheating, it's using a style that's been around for a lot longer than consoles.
Can wireless mouse and keyboard be used, eg plugging the USB dongles to the xim4 device? I'm guessing not if there's no power source?

Just a question guys . Does these stuff let u change controls like when u play overwatch it is the triangle button will it become E or we should figure the buttons out and can’t change them( some games do not have keyboard and mouse options)

Would this be considered a modded controller? When I say this i'm referring to controllers with trigger bots. Either way this was a great video.
+Father Gman 3445 Depends for who ;) The console thinks its just a regular controller. They wont see it as anything else.
