Finally, a non-tech channel review of the iPad keyboard. Sometimes I don’t care about computer chips and processor strength and the quantum physics of it. I just wanna know what regular people think of it 😬

I ordered the yellow one thinking it was going to be a bright vibrant color. Instead I looks like more of a Gold color. I personally prefer the gold look. Definitely not disappointed but just a heads up to the ones expecting a brighter cream of yellow.

u probably figured it out by now, im in college and i had the ipad throughout the last year of hs as well and digital notetaking with a pencil+typing is much nicer than just a laptop. If i didnt take notes w the apple pencil i’d probably just use a simple chromebook or my old Dell laptop
Tip: try to increase the trackpad speed in the keyboard sittings it will make the small trackpad size not a problem anymore . .. I really hope this helps 😊
i’m getting the iPad Pro 2020 soon!! it’s coming in 5 days!! i got the Apple Pencil a few days ago. i’m also getting the Magic Keyboard too!! it works SO WELL!!!! the track pad is SO CUTE and the curser is so smooth!! i used my brother’s and it’s AMAZING!!!
You don’t need to charge the case, it charges itself through the dots in the back. The cool thing is that you can charge your phone from de extra usbc port from the case or charge the iPad when your using the iPad port already. Sorry for my bad English im from Argentina 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
I got mine around the time it came out, looking back at this video it looks super clean and clean. It tends to have a problem with noticeable dust under the keys because of the the backlit.

It depends what you want to use it for! I just got an iPad Pro 10.5 (an older model) and Smart Keyboard and I love it, so If you don’t need to do really intense tasks, I would recommend not going for the super expensive pro unless you have the budget, as you will probably end up buying a pencil and keyboard which will add quite a bit to the cost. If you like the mini size, you could also purchase a mini 5th gen?

Just so you know you don’t have to charge the case, the iPad powers the case. The charging port on the case is for pass through charging so you can have your iPad plugged in while using it with the case
just so you know, the charger on the case is not to charge the case. if u plug it in, it passes through the case and charges the ipad. the case doesn’t need to be charged :)

Hello, just want to say I absolutely LOVE your videos, I find them really entertaining! Also, I found out what the three dots are. They are to help connect the iPad to the case!
the part you said you use to charge the keyboard is not what its for. you charge the iPad through that, this way you can use it exactly like a computer, and don't have to charge it through the regular iPad port, saving the iPad's port for any other accessories you might need to connect to the iPad itself. the keyboard does not get charged, it will always work when attached to the iPad via the smart connection (the three dots) on the back. :)
Apple designed it to be an easy all in one iPad + Laptop combo but they still wanted it to feel like a touch based device. Taking the iPad of the case has been made simple thanks to those magnets and when you take it off, you can use it like a normal iPad and do your digital notetaking and drawing with the Apple Pencil without the case in the way.
yeah that makes sense!! it is pretty easy to take off and use! The only thing that makes me nervous about having to take it off for notetaking/drawing is that the camera is unprotected and can scratch when placed on surface without a case!

I love the concept with what apple came out. But I don’t think it’s worth 300 add you cannot even try to hold it as a tablet. And no matter what you still may be prone to touch the screen rather than the mouse I believe ? I feel like if someone who doesn’t have a computer would benefit more but still touching the screen isn’t a bad idea, worth saving money if you do haha. The whole reason why I got an iPad Pro was bc I wanted to take notes and I love how light it is rather than bringing my MacBook Pro to college. I had the smart folio for a bit but I did not like how it did not cover the edges or my pencil but I DO LOVE HOW LIGHT it was. But at that time being worth 200 Idk? I ended up returning it and getting the logi slim folio keyboard case which was cheaper and did way more than the smart folio. I would say it’s a bit bulky/heavy but as long as it protect my iPad I’m ok.
