@@dschinni9391, es ist schon eine komische Ironie, die das Schicksal für uns manchmal bereit hält. 2011 sah ich ihn, hab mich schon auf das nächste Jahr gefreut und gehofft, er wäre dabei...da verunglückt er und das Trierer Bergrennen erhält keine weitere Auflage bis jetzt, weil viel zu wenig Personal da ist... Ihn in der Realität zu sehen ist ein komplett anderes Gefühl, man steht oben beim Kran auf der großen Wiese, man merkt dem Kommentator die Spannung und Aufregung an, der Vorgänger fährt vergleichsweise gemächlich vorbei, man hört nur das Geheule durch den Wald am Berg, es wird laut, man denkt sich, wann kommt er, und da prescht er um die Ecke, mit einer Klasse und einem grandiosen Auto, wie es das Trierer Bergrennen nie wieder sehen sollte, und da ist er auch schon weg, hinterlässt nur noch das über die Ebene und durch den Wald hallende Echo und den Windzug, den man zu verspüren meinte, als er in einem Affenzahn vorbeizog... König der Herzen, unvergessen bis heute, Streckenrekord ungebrochen. So fahre er im Paradies weiter Rennen.

According Plasa's website the model is KV675, originally developed for LMP675 class, based on Formula 3000 (3000, not 1) design.
plasa (RIP) was one crazy man... essentially took a BMW car and put a frickin F1 engine in it...

Oops, after a bit of searching found out it was a Judd KV675, an old LMP675 engine. The engine won on it's debut!

Depends what model engine is in this car, but most Judd V8's are crossplane cranks.
the shriek of the exhaust said flat crank to me, so I emailed Judd to confirm. It is a flat crank motor.

it is Judd V8 3.4 L 550 bhp. Dallara was chassis manufacturer for F1 cars, I think.
