The Singer is a friendly competition between famous singers who participate by invitation. The 500 audience at the venue vote for their favorite singers in each episode. Jessie J won because the audience really liked her and voted for her more, it's simple as that. Same as in Singer 2017, the audience liked famous Chinese singer Sandy Lam more than Dimash. It's the audience votes that determine the winner. Nevertheless, even if Dimash and HuaHua both came second, they actually won a lot with an exponential growth in exposure, participation in variety shows and fame. The thing with HuaHua is that he's very non mainstream in China, he has a strong fan following, his sons are performed in colleges and choirs, but people had to get used to his very innovative music, and some still can't. Still his participations in galas and variety shows always get the top peak ranking, for New Year Galas, TV stations always make him perform at midnight, so as to keep the audience watching.
Jessie J won the season in the final episode. This was the 1st episode HCY was participated at. And he won it. Qi Tian was awarded the title of the best song of the show. In 2020, this song was awarded also the title The best song of decade. To understand this song you must know the legend of Wu Kong. Those aren't simply switches to switch.
It really doesn’t matter who won the competition. The switch up type is only one side of his style. His music has more on building in layers with the instruments and chord. ❤️🌹🌹
I can understand why you might not understand why Hua Chenyu, despite performing better, ended up in second place. Hua joined the competition from the fourth episode, whereas Jessie J had already taken first place in the first three episodes. Hua broke Jessie J's winning streak in the fourth episode, and in the subsequent episodes, Hua actually got first place more times than Jessie J. However, the competition considers the total points for the entire season. Thus, Hua fell behind in points from the first three episodes. Additionally, in the eighth episode, Jessie J didn't participate due to illness, and to "ensure fair scoring," the show nullified everyone's scores for that episode. Unfortunately, this meant Hua's first-place score for that episode didn't count either. These various factors led to an outcome that seems fair but is actually somewhat unfair.
In 2018, Jessie J has been the first place in the previous issues. Later, the program team invited Huahua to play as a substitute. In the first game, Qitian was the first place. Later, he stayed with Jessica for a long time. Their final
I did not know Jessie J until this show. My personal preference was Hua because of his creative rearrangement and how he used his vocals to create a story and his stage presence. Jessie had great vocals, but not creative. Hua was more interested in bringing his music style as influence for modern Chinese music. He wasn't about winning. He also wanted to "learn" from others. You can tell music is in his soul.

Whoever became the winner was not important as long as the Artist gave sincere and professional performance ❤

Their final score of the champion and the runner-up score is very small.
