Hope you’re all having a great day :) In this video, I will be watching a third Hua Chenyu performance! At this point, I have reacted to Nunchucks and Wayfarer, and I have thoroughly enjoyed both performances. Given my enjoyment of the performances and your appreciation of my reactions, in this video, I am reacting to another highly requested Hua Chenyu performance from Singer 2018. The song in question is Child!
I would like to give a big shout out to a channel here on TH-cam that goes by the name of Hua Chenyu English Subs. They provide great subtitles for these Hua Chenyu performances, which in turn allows me to analyze the lyrics and get a better understanding of the songs. I keep nodding my head on your analysis. Hua is so good to project the meaning of the song through his voice, facial expression and body language.
Indeed he is! I have english subtitles running at the bottom at the screen, but I think that even without them I’d be able to feel the emotions just through his mannerisms.
You are amazing understanding the meaning of his performances, knowing Hua Hua´s own thinking it really fits well.. and he is so amazing, there is a whole music treasure of different genres to dig in, hes been around some years.. I never get tired of him!

You really feel it with your heart. Most of his songs have deep meaning. His songs are full of emotions. Hua Hua once said that it's beautiful for everyone to have different feelings.
That’s awesome! It’s exactly how I feel about music. We’ll hear it in different ways as our life experiences shape our interpretations of it, and that’s fascinating in of itself. Beyond that, I feel that trying to understand the different perspectives out there can be a truly mind opening experience, and that is priceless to me. I usually have to watch it over and over again, and each time I could find little things that he does with his technique, his facial expression, and just the way he sings the song! Definitely recommend reacting to "Fake Monk" and "Dad I'm home" by Huahua. Both songs were re-arranged by him but became much more powerful on stage even more so than original work in my opinion. The former is a genius piece of performing art in the form of using voice and expressing emotions through it, filled with pure madness, captivating, dark and wild vocals. I don't really see that many young mainstream artists with this scope of musical expression nowadays, other than in Hua. The latter is another song very uniquely re-arranged, yet so touching that the simple words and pure melodies is enough to convey his message.
He can feel and make people feel! I love 💕 him so much! Thank you for your sharing! Angelic voice comes from heaven! Crystal clear!
This song portrays a frame of reunion and missings through years. Originally it's about parents and children, the relationship between the grown-up and his childhood is a new perspective for me, and I like your interpretation. The feeling this perspective brings to me is moving, especially in the last falseto duet, I seems to see one man came home after a long long journey and finally hugged himself in the room he used to live in. Seems like sort of self-redemption

Matt, you are so awesome! Your insight is amazing. You will ALWAYS get emotion out of his performances. If you want to see how he can control an audience through emotions, check out Dad, I’m Home..... you can find it from the Hua Chenyu English Subtitles, **warning- have a tissue ready. Notice how long it takes the audience to clap after he finishes the song. They are just so deep into it, they just sit there. I have never seen an audience react in that way before!

Very interesting analysis. His song choices through the singer show was quite intentional, and if I remembered correctly the Wayfarer song actually came after the Child song in terms of order. If you are interested in understanding his intention, what he's trying to convey to the viewers, I would suggest you watch Hua's performances on the Singer show in order of episodes performed.

Wow your analysis is incredible! I really enjoyed your reactions. I think maybe you should check out Hua‘s Fake monk on Singer 2018. It’s very artistic and deep. But I think you can really understand it. Look forward to your analysis. You can also check his interview before that performance. You can just search Fake monk interview. I think the Hua Chenyu eng sub has that interview with eng subtitles. He said why and how he recreated that song there. It also contains some of his past experience.

Hua was being abandoned due to the divorce of his parents when he was 3. That’s why he has such kind of thinking. He expressed his loneliness and self contradiction in the song “Fake Monk”, it’s a good idea if you can react to it.

Please REACT TO : Hua Chenyu's ("Wha-Wha") song "Fake Monk!" You will be blown away by this performance!! Your balls will roll under your laptop! Sorry about description but it's the truth! This is a darker, deeper, look into the shadows of the self. His performance is nothing less than Art on stage. A true artist. Make sure you react to the one where he's talking about the song & what it means to him. He's just so gifted!
