Sooo this is semi right. The warriors are synapse creatures so you sever their link to the gaunts.. But you can't outright tell unless they have an aura and they only get that aura some of the time. It's not always active. So if you kill all of the warriors, it doesn't mean thr gaunts auto die. They’re getting rid of all the firstborn things, the dreads are redemptors, the tanks are gladiators, and all the weaponry is primaris versions (melta rifle vs the meltagun)
They might introduce cosmetics for the las fusil as the lascannon. Functionally theyre very similar, so it doesnt really make sense to have two practically identical weapons. This is also why we dont see bolt guns or bolters, because bolt rifles are functionally the same thing.

I look forward to a shield regen tutorial for each class. There is confusion and frustration with surviving with players but that tutorial will resolve those concerns mostly if they know how to regenerate shields easier. Example, charge melee attack, gunstrike on minoris gives 1 shield. Sprint, melee light, gun strike gives 1 shield. Etc
Oh I want to add, bigger baddies can sometimes be "inconsistent" with perfect parries I've had a bunch of cases where I've had to parry upwards of 2+ times in a row to get a chance for a gun strike, so just be mindful of even the blade or whip boys and onwards can sometimes throw you curveballs
While Im waiting for space marine to come out I made my own squad of marines with their own lore, which each one being one of the six classes. They are all blood ravens because I too am a fan of corvids and a kleptomaniac, the squad’s whole focus is the relic “procurement” that the blood ravens are so famous for, they are called the Brothers Of Accretion and I think I’m gonna try to make a custom like color way that differentiates them slightly from other blood ravens

great video but I disagree on shooting the the barbs, on lower difficulties you can get away with shooting them but on higher I highly recommend against it, on higher difficulty ammo becomes really scarce and each bullet counts/matters as a melee class like bulwark you can use the sword or fist to melee them and remove them, but absolutely not shooting, on top of that, if you keep shooting the barbs, the sniper enemies that spawn them, will just continuously spawn them until you kill that enemy so rather than shooting the barb, shoot the enemy, and you see the barbs disappear in no time, as a final part, being aware of your surroundings is also an integral part of the game so this should pose no issue as you progress and get better slowly
I highly suggest playing single player on Substantial Threat. It truly is what the devs intended, says so in the description, and forces you to learn melee combat mechanics.
You mean veteran for the campaign, since the difficulties are named differently for the operations and the campaign. I dont think you should do substantial solo as a new player on operations lol

I'm kinda confused about people saying it's harder to parry with the Bulwark. The game never tells you to hold the parry button down the first place so you should only ever be tapping for parries; the Bulwark is the only class that has a true block that you can hold so they're the only class you should be holding the parry/block button down for in any case.

Ive heard from other reviewers that the heavy class in melee/ close range is simply unviable. How useful is the aoe stomp in stunning enemies to continue heavy fire? Additionally, is swinging the heavies primaries as melee weapons effective? Ive seen people state that heavy belongs at the back of the squad. What does the term "heavy" even mean at that point. I would suspect bieng a lynchpin in the center of battle, protecting your brothers with the shield while laying down heavy fire, would be most useful. Not to mention an entire weapon class for heavy is the multi melta, obviously designed to be used up close. Any insight into this would be appreciated, thanks. THE EMPEROR PROTECTS.
They're right, it's not viable in that you can't just go toe to toe but you can very easily dodge and parry as a heavy - it's trickier though for sure. You have to learn how to do minimal charge stomps. You link two together, bam bam, then you can roll out of the way to try and get some shots off or bounce to friends. And for sure, like I was saying, you need to hang back just a bit so you aren't constantly getting hit with leap attacks and the such. You're basically holding back and mowing things down while your team gets in there. You have the vision on the battlefield so you shut down reinforcements, call out things closing on your friends, or just rake the enemy with righteous bolted fire, battle brother!
How do you play single player Operations. At 4.30 you say "simply play single player operations" I can not work out how to do this unless im just thick?

HEAVY, with 4 armor segments. If he could wear Terminator armor, that'd be a cool bonus. But definitely at least the 4 armor segments.
Nah, heavy is very strong and hard counters lots of ranged enemies. They can also still parry and have access to big stomp. Heavy also has good contested hp regen potential outside of melee (though the multi melta is bugged right now). Fairly tanky - definitely not the weakest in terms of sustainability.

@@chetmanley1885 Space Marines 2 is #1 on steam atm, so a sale will probably be in a few months. Anything that's popular usually don't go on sale as they want to milk it for all it's worth.
@@metarugia3981exactly, they're going to be waiting a while.
Aside from the story/lore, is there any benefit to completing the campaign? I am loving the operations and I want to hard grind. I don't want to waste time on the campaign if it doesnt get me any materials or skins.
Nope! :) just enjoy how you're playing!
This game would be good if I could load up a campaign co-op
You can
This guy sounds like Sal from khan academy.
Good video bro
Bro I checked out Steam achievements. Currently most the campaign achievements 0% of people unlocked compared to me.
Bruh...
So there is a 3rd person version of Darktide, nice ..

Damn your video has a ton of bots on it.
Dude it's something
Not bots…. It’s the adeptus mechanicus conducting a test on how the flesh react
The flesh is weak.
Said the bot
There are no bots, they are servitors sir
Did the game come out or something…? I’m reading the release date is the 9th.
pve weapon unlocking doest translate over to pvp does it?
Nay! Only armor. Pvp has their own ranking system but it's faster than pve
@@italianspartacus aight thx mate
how do you play operations with bots instead of real players?
level 8 and tried the 3rd difficulty as I want to upgrade my weapon and it is just impossible, very stuck, skill issue I suppose
it looks good and sounds good, not sure that after completing in 10 hours , the price of this makes it well overpriced
They made it complicate lol. At least it seems like it.. I get learning curve for the game but seems like things are more complicated than it needs to.
24:35 does charging them up increase dmg?
It literally says it does 2 seconds after your timestamp dude
