Thank you for explaining so well such great tips with iMovie 👏 I ‘m not a videographer and I just starting out on TH-cam as a way to not be so reliant on Instagram to share my artwork. Your video made me feel less lost and overwhelmed with editing. Since I need to leverage the tools I already have on my iPad for a low-budget option, these tips will greatly help me make better videos so I can focus on making my art. Thanks again for sharing! Much appreciated!
Hi. Thank you for explaining iMovie techniques I was not aware of. I am just getting started with my first video. New information is always helpful. I only have an ipad and iphone because I don't want anything bigger and more complicated. Stay healty, happy and safe.
For tip #1 I’d suggest editing in iMovie and color correcting when you’re done so every clip looks the same. Unless you shot in completely different scenarios for every clip and really need to color correct each on their own👌🏼
You have given tips that I have never seen elsewhere. Awesome Collin! I have subscribed to your videos. I have been reading up for such a long time and then I found you! Thank you. I am from Chennai South India and thank you once again Collin....
For tip number 6 if I record a music video on TH-cam add that audio to my video. Then can I post it on youtube cuz what if the sound is copyrighted? Great video tutorial. Thank you!!!
Great tutorial, thanks for sharing! I definitely used the detach audio tip and it worked GREAT! Go Record however was unusable in its free version, as I could not download anything, so I just used the Screen Recording app on the iPad.
Good video! Btw - why isn’t the timecode displayed anywhere in iMovie? It seems like the most obvious, essential, and easy to implement feature for a video editor? It would massively simplify my trimming/cutting work and would be just generally useful to see how many minutes and seconds has elapsed. Is this Apple being difficult again? If anyone has any advice I’d appreciate it
Thank you for this video it was very informative and very helpful! I've been using this app for a few months now and it is so covenient for us phone creators! I want to eventually get way more advanced with my edits but intl I get a decent PC this app will suffice a hundred percent! If your someone that's thinking about this app stop and just download it trust me its worth it!
Great video do you edit videos for clients and do you hav a video for sound effects or how to add visual effects I think you might of answered that with screen recording
I’ve been using iMovie for a while trying to use a lot of round about ways, that are very time consuming, to pull of some of these simple editing techniques. Thanks for the video!
OH MY GOD OH MY GOD TIP NUMBER 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been using iMovie for the past 7-8 years, and I've always wanted to do that. You. Are. A. Legend! How did I not think of that 😂
Thanks for showing me how to add music, beyond just the stock music provided in the app. What if I need to adjust the volume, though? For example, I record the music, put it in my iMovie project (I'm using the app on my phone...not on an iPad), and I realize it's too loud, and drowning out the audio in my main video. How do I adjust within iMovie?
Spilled coffee on my laptop so I’m editing my YT videos on my phone. This is SUPER helpful. Thank you so much.
I appreciate this video. iMovie is what I have used every since I started my TH-cam channel.

Me too

Yeah I used this since I did this

You can also tap on the three dots and tap audio only
@Strange Grape
Yes!!!
The easiest way to put music
That doesn't work for me whenever I try to move the audio where I want it to be it just moves it to the place I don't want it to be
You have to put the line at the start of where u want the music to be
Ohh now I get it thxx
Great tutorial, straight to the point and well explained! I’ve subscribed.
OMG THANK YOU!!! I’ve used imovie to make videos on my phone for almost a year now, and had NO IDEA about these tips!! ❤❤❤
