So glad you guys did this…I owned a ‘79 as well and I’ve been wanting to do this upgrade but ALL I read about Chinese knock offs was that they were a piece of crap…I guess that’s just not true. Awesome work!!!
first...as I have said in other posts/pics your Fiat is amazing. now, questions. To go to the dual carbs did you change cams upgrade anything else? I have a 74 Fiat 124 spider...should I go with the 40s instead? Stock motor for the most part. Header and electronic ignition conversion is it.
Thank you very much, and no, no need to change the cams for this. These are way under carb’d from the factory. 40’s would be perfect on your car. Figuring out your throttle cable may be a little tricky, but I believe Vicks sells a conversion cable with a built in spring. Will just need to make a mount for it.
These engines already have pretty hot cams from the factory. With IDFs, too much LSA can cause reversion, which is bad for independent runner configurations.

Do you still have the 34ADF? Would you like to sell that?
I thought about selling it and the original intake.
they are good but the consume too much fuel
that engine better be cammed
They come with cams from the factory.
@@HiRevzMedia you know what i mean boy... a good cam would change your engine
