All Right guys! Got my Spider set up and working out the carb details and adjustments! I used your link to order everything, thank you! Now, did you IDF carbs have to be calibrated, floats, jets and all, before your tuning? Also, any throttle plate calibrations? It seems it is common! It would be much appreciated if you could elaborate on your carb tuning further. Thanks!! Al

Great to hear! Yes, all IDF’s need to be set before installed. Floats are a must. With knockoffs, you wan to pull the whole carb apart and clean and check everything on it. Once that is done, they will work great. Have you seen our book on IDF carburetors or the latest project we’ve been working on with IDF’s, if not, check them out.

Might I ask which jets you are running? Getting ready to order some, and I would much appreciate it! My car is with headers, stock cams and a bit higher compression (not crazy) Thanks, this is really kicking up my spirits!!! Al

The only thing we change was the idle jets. We put 60s in.

Sounds pretty good. I'd like to see you rev the engine at least to 7000 or so to see if it makes real power. I run my 1800 to 8000 every time shes out.

    Beautiful car🔥🔥🔥
I have a question How much horsepower is increased with the IDF carburetors? I'm thinking about installing them on my 1974 Fiat 124 sport coupe 1.8

Where did you find the Ansa tip?

It’s crazy, but my muffler guy had one just stored in the back. I asked him for a resonated tip and it just ended up being an ANSA.

are you running straight pipe with resonated tip? It is what I am thinking about doing. I have a dual tip resonated tip.@@HiRevzMedia

Never took it past 3k on the tac
... That's not a test. Take it to 6k where the power actually kicks in. That's a proper test
