I'm an absolute sucker for the June face. It's tied with the Karl face (which they never eant to use for playline dolls) for my all-time favorite, so 186 takes the number 1 spot for me, and I like 201 WAY more than I should for how much I dislike her outfit and how pixelated she is, but that is the power of the June face.
Happy New Year! I agree that 199 is the best of the past 2 years, and I also love 203. I bought 206 online (not in stores here), but her freckles had a lot of blue blotches in them. I should try to find another one. Also, I should see about getting 188 and 200. Any majorly pixelated doll is out for me, but I am willing to pay for just the head if I love it. I bought the Little Mermaid sisters 7-pack primarily for the lovely, unique face molds, and they also have saran hair. They are pixelated, but not as bad as some Fashionistas.
Totally loved this video, although I don’t collect the Fashionistas anymore due to the pixelated faces and they’re cheap fashions. I will always be a collector of Barbie now I collect the older dolls, the ones from the late 90s and early 2000s. Most of the time I will find them at thrift stores or a yard sale and just reroot them. I just love it.
I have only been collecting a few months and I don’t have too many yet. I did get two previously before I actually went wild with the collecting. I do have other size dolls too. I love the blue and white dress on the black doll you showed and will buy that if I find it separately. I think I only have the second one that you showed and I really like her. You have a lovely collection of these Fashionistas. I liked the black Ken you showed he definitely is nicer out of the box. I am not familiar with the different face molds yet. This was a great review. I love all my dolls, they say the new signature looks Barbie’s for 2024 are going to have metallic pastel colors on. I can’t wait I am so excited
