A video (or series of videos) where you go over the different elites, their move sets and different phases (mutations), as well as recommended strategies for dealing with them with both ranged and melee builds would be nice. I imagine it could be a bit of a pain to produce such a video due to all the components that would need to be recorded, but I think it could be very helpful. There is a way to manipulate your save.json file to change the elites that show up during a run which could make the production side of things easier (wouldn't have to keep re-doing runs because the elite you wanted to showcase didn't show up). For me personally, I still struggle with Colossus -- it's ended so many of my runs. Just a thought I had.
That's actually a great idea, and since I have a lot of fights recorded already I could probably reuse some of the footage. I'll definitely see if I can make that happen!
Im in the process of clearing Danger 5 now with this toon. Ive been using your vidz since i started playign Brotato...its totally taught me all i know. This one isn't gonna take as many attempts as the Fisherman did for sure! After all the Bait & Lamprey's there the Gladiator feels easy tbh. Im just getting killed by Elites still, lol.
Boom-boom-Board-Bro-Diator is best gladiator. Focus on range, explosion size/dam with attack speed as dump stat on item choices. You wind up with a fractal-circle making windmill, especially if you can get Barricade and the other “bonus to stand still” cards.
@@Cephalopocalypse Hey I have a question, does using ethereal weapons (ghost dagger and ghost axe) a good way to win too? I just like to build stats that way and focus on other stats so that weapon set is how I like to play.
I actually have a RANDOM question, your commentary about nabbing Factory/Shirt/Engineering reminded me. My last two achievements remaining are to leave ten trees up then win with the resulting character. Any recommendations on what character offers the best chances at making a forest? I’d obviously be going to stack luck and Tree items, then avoid the Shirt, probably go melee, but have had to luck making it happen.
Explorer is probably the easiest way! You can honestly just hide in the corner and wait a few waves, it should happen without too much stress. I don't *think* luck affects the number of trees that spawn, but it can't hurt to stack it anyways
I think that having matching weapon classes on this character does not matter. What matters is getting the best of the best of weapons, to maximize dps.
I was about to ask you an arms dealer but (luckly) i just got a danger 5 one today. I don't know why but I'm struggling a lot with farmer, i know is an easy one with pruners, maybe I'm just unlucky idk.
I almost certainly will once I get through the most interesting vanilla classes - this game has a ton of depth so I haven't looked into mods much but we'll get there!

You can just go explorer and wait till wave 5 with melee weapon. No turret nor mine. Hope you get à tree. And that's it
