This was really awesome, except that I was hoping you would show how to take the battery out and put a new one in, with this controller cover? Otherwise this was a great video!
Thank you for watching and for your comment. The battery compartment opens easily, and the black strip is designed to aid in getting the battery out. I do find it a little hit and miss and sometimes use something to help pry the battery out.
I understand that the silicone cover itself has some kind of texture on it for grip, but something I've never heard mentioned is what the actual strap part feels like. Is there some kind of grippy material on the inside of the strap itself to help hold on to your hand?
It has small offset triangles going down the inside of the strap, actually the full length of that side of the strap, that are textured, with a smooth zig zag in between them. The texture may add some grip to the inside, though they still feel smooth and comfortable to touch. I get a mean axe swing going playing Dungeons of Eternity now and I haven't felt them slip, bite in, move around or feel uncomfortable. So far so good and I'm still happy to recommend them.
@@JustDadUK Cheers for that mate, they look pretty damn good, that's the only thing I was really concerned about. Definitely gonna pick them up if I decide to upgrade to Quest 3.
