I think your excitement is more fun to watch than you capturing every single second of your picking.
For a 2002 Fender wreck, I would ask at least $50. You could take it to a guitar shop, and they would probably pay that.

The little trash can is probably for indoor composting, love that bag even if it is repro...great say of picking!
Yes it is for compost. Or on the homestead it is used as a “chicken bucket “. 😊

You did good on this run. Look that doll up. I love that trunk. Super glue the back up and stay or brush paint the inside with shellac. Clean the outside off and you have cute decor or storage or both. If you use shellac that works for outside you could even use it on the porch. So cute!❤️

Great trash!! I have a megaphone from my High school. It’s vintage. No where to put it but I hate to sell it. Loved the trunk and that ashtray stand!! My grandpa smoked a pipe. Love me some pipe tobacco smell. The memories it invokes. He had an ashtray beside his recliner just like that. I wish you the best with your finds.
What a great day of finds, Renee! Always loved Jim Croce, especially Time in a Bottle, and I'm All Out of Love was a chart topper for Air Supply! You cheered me up a bit. None of the towns around me allow people to put goodies like you and TS look for out with the trash. We have a spring and fall cleanup and that's that! If I lived where you do and was about 30 years, shoot even 10, younger, I'd be dangerous! 😎 Shoot, I think I could still be dangerous! 😊
A photographer that does senior pics for that school would probably LOVE the megaphone!
The trunk may've been used by a door-to-door salesman with the Wear-Ever background. The fender strap alone might be converted to carry your megaphone in a parade!
Awesome finds! Those ashtrays are collectible because I don't think they make them anymore. It's totally awesome and I've been looking for one. Popular from early 1900s up. Love the stuff you got today! The Cole Haun boots are very expensive boots. Very nice leather and would have probably been several hundred dollars new.
When I saw the little trash can, I thought it would be cute to paint it and put an Oscar the Grouch in it.

That was a Hartmann garment bag at 2:53 next to your salesman's sample case you picked up. Alway check inside luggage, it might be a horror show but sometimes you find treasure!
I did check inside the bag, just had to cut the footage out as it was pretty choppy trying to get the zipper open with one hand haha.

The ashtray i was born in San Francisco I saw ones like that all over the city. Train stations, hotel lobby's, Department stores, movie theatre , etc very cool finds of the day.
The ash tray could be turned into a planter.

Hello Renee. Yes it’s a trash day. I don’t care that it’s not vintage I love the Halloween. Pretty sweet. And I love the doll. It’s cute. The little trunk could be used for Christmas decor. Or A doll a blanket and some vintage toys. That would be cute. Ya I can see so many ways of using it. The doll you found could be put in it . If you had a little chair and a pairisal. My problem is as I look more at that trunk, I see that it really isn't in that bad of shape and think of all the uses I could have for it if I keep it!
Someone gave me a bunch of very wide ribbon. It was used to decorate tables for a reception. Even if the trunk was ruined, people refinish them.

The bridge pickup (bottom one) on the Fender is a Seymor Duncan Hot Rail. That could go $50 used.

@@PaperandMoose You should be able to get 30 to 40 for just the rear seymore duncan pickup. It's a hot rails or some type of rails. Search ebay for seymore duncan rails and see what comes up. Easy to ship too.
The white Dickies pants are "painter's pants", a specialty pant for painters. Not really sure why, lol... but mine are all covered with paint from my years painting houses while going to college. Value about $10 each at flea market. More if selling online.

The Fender guitar will likely get more money if you put on Facebook marketplace. Many guitarists know how to repair guitars.

Got to see the association live there fabulous and they were actually at a local dance place in our area back in the late 80s and it was just really great got to meet 1 of the singers and it was just lovely
My dad used to sell wear-ever pots and pans,and that case he used to have to carry around,I imagine it got pretty heavy taking door to door fond memories 😁

8:37 When I lived in Portland, Oregon they have similar "garbage pails" for food scraps that would go to the local compost or to your own compost.🙂

That's the kind of guitar I can play with ease...no strings attached! Great haul! Rah-Rah...Sis-Boom Bah! Looks just like the floor ash trays which were in the lobby of the old El Rey Theatre...an Art Deco movie house, which was built in the late 30's, later became a Pentacostal Church. Still standing, but vacant, currently. Like the cap.
I took a look online & some of the older ashtrays, such as the art deco period kind, are works of art! The colors and the lines were so pretty.
@@PaperandMoose I have one floor tray from 1928...made of cast bronze...for the home, not commercial...is it heavy! Clean as a whistle, as I don't smoke!

Hi Renee, nice scores today! Please take another look at the Fender - I showed my fiance this video as he collects and rebuilds guitars. He said from the way it looks (and what he can tell not looking at it in person) it looks to be a made in Mexico Fender Stratocaster with Seymour Duncan hot rails that needs a new pickguard and some wiring redone. It can be fixed as long as the neck is not twisted, and will be worth more than $10 for sure. Definitely would be interested in purchasing if you are interested in shipping.

I had a guitar when I was a teenager as well but never touched it! I'm sure I probably thought it would be a breeze to learn how to play, but nope!

Renee, for the Fender.....put it out and ask the person what they are willing to give you for it. Stay quiet, you might get 20 , at least more then 5. A guitar repair person can make it into something great again.
I'm going to ask the "Instrument Man" at the flea market for some help on pricing. He helped my friend out a few weeks ago on some cymbals that he had.
My favorite item is the coast guard sweatshirt. 😁👍

That trunk was for a salesman for Wear-Ever Aluminum pans, etc.-probably held samples of pots, etc.

I need to go trash picking and dumpster diving so bad, but with all the schools being online now, I have no free time like I used to. Great finds, I'm so jealous!
Take the kids & teach them about picking for free & then reselling. You can throw in some math lessons when it comes to the reselling part!
And kids can get in and out of dumpsters easier. I used to do it as a kid. Great fun!

Some of the small towns around here have trash days 2x/year when you can put just about anything at the curb. Unfortunately, the town I live in frowns on anyone taking it.
It's silly that some towns don't allow it. Would save on manpower to dump the stuff & allow for items to be reused.
I've taken an old broken guitar and turned it into a clock. Great finds!
