If there are no more updates like said after this, feel free to let me know what content you guys would like to see from me, I tend to receive other games early as well so I am able to make whatever comes out. I'm open to any suggestions ;)

That’s the entire roster board filled out. So if they plan on adding more characters, they’re going to have to increase it the size of it for the next update.
They don't have to, they can pull a puyo 20th and make another page

i didn't know rozatte was meant to be a male in the jp version, the female VA in english actually fits quite well for the non-alt voice imo, although to be fair i did assume rozatte was a female based on the visual design and name (i never played quest), now i can see how it would work both ways, these japanese bishounens can be really ambiguous sometimes
Okay I thought maybe I was mishearing it and I was crazy for thinking Rozatte had a female voice in English. But at the same time I didn't mind it too much given without the Japanese voice I would not have known he was a boy. In fact, thinking about it more I kinda like it lol
A lot of puyo characters are like that, I get confused so much a lot of the time.
@@skidz8246 Same. I thought Sig was a girl the first time I saw him. Sega putting him in a yukata at one point didn't help.
Pretty sure a certain quest character specifically pretends to be female and actually convinced a flirt he was for a bit. Forget if it was Rozatte though or not.
@@kirby1781 There IS one character that is feminine enough that even got Incubus and Stornum (blue hair, guitarist in Hed's band) hitting on him. That's Sullivan. You can imagine how well that turned out.
Harpy finally learned how to sing in her alt voice, what a surprise.

Ragnus suffers the same issue that Strange Klug has for his English voice... Too deep of a voice for the character
Also I noticed that Legamunt's first 3 spells have very similar animations to Schezo's
Weird that he had a bit better voice in Champions imo.
probably changed since he has the same voice actor for maguro and ecolo
I like both their English voices.
@@OST1350 i'd have to agree there's just something about his voice here that doesn't click with me. Champions he sounded more... noble? heroic? I like both but prefer champions

Honestly a couple of more characters like kikimora, dongurigaeru or onion pixie would be nice but this is a cool overall roster.
What a strange decision to give Rozatte a woman's voice. Looks like they didn't get the memo that he's in the Boys combination in Quest. There's also a bunch of recycled poses from Quest between him and Legamunt (their character selection images are their 7* cards, as well).
BTW, while not related to voices, Ragnus's changed name is now exclusive to the English version. Other versions (such as the Spanish one) changed it back to Lagnus.
He is Ragnus in french I think
“Ragnus” is not exclusive to the English version, the French version also changed it to “Ragnus.”
I don't think they thought he was a girl, more so that his design is pretty androgynous so they got a woman to do a deep voice for him. Both voices fit imo.
Lagnus > Ragnus is a localisation change and honestly I don't know why they bothered to change it in the first place.
Either way i'm always gonna call him Lagnus that's the name I associate him with

So Legamunt and Rozatte. Another two character from Quest that those outside of Japan never saw. I wonder why they didn't use Onion Pixie or Donguri Gaeru (both playable in 20th and Chronicles) or Nasu Grave and Zoh Daemaoh (both playable in 15th).

And what was added in the patch?
Apart from the characters, this was added:
- Super Spicy difficulty for Boss Raid mode. Better rewards, higher enemy stats, and they spam that out-of-nowhere attack much more often
- Spectator Mode
- More Settings for Free Play rooms
- Four soundtracks (BGM 30 from 20th Anniversary -which I don't remember who it belonged to-, Madou Monogatari's dungeon theme, Puyo Puyo 7's last battle theme, and Escape from the City from Sonic Adventure 2)
Not sure why they stopped doing the age gimmick with Lagnus considering it's a big part of his character. They could have easily made him go child form when he loses and we'd be pretty satisfied.

They are from Puyo Quest which is a mobile game

I have been wondering the same thing. In my opinion the english version is better because of that.

I mean-his VA being a woman doesn't necessarily mean he's a girl in the english version. There are boys with androgynous voices after all.
And I feel like it fits him better because his design is quite androgynous as well
