The problem is more of the implementation Although i can play the pentatonic with my eyes closed but when its time to actually play a meaningful melody or phrase (mostly on the spot), everything turns to s**t. Lastly, i feel another problem is i am insecure about my playing because I'm surrounded by better people than me which makes people expect fast improvement on my part but the pressure can be overwhelming
I know I said lastly but adding to this is that I also can't identify the chord progression on the spot and play over chord changes. I know you've said to identify the bass note but what if you're the only instrument or there's probably not a bass. It would be nice to have your feedback sir.
sorry i'm just seeing this comment.. about implementation, it comes with time to be honest. just keep practicing.. as much as you can, try not to be carried away by people's level of play. Its okay to admire their skills but dont be intimidated because 1. they started before you 2. they know what you dont know. 3. they do what you dont do.. So just tell yourself that if you also know what they know and do what they do, you will become better over a period of time. you'll be fine bro
I know chords, i can solo melody even on my first listening or hearing at the song, so my problem is that I can't think of anything different from what i have already learnt when playing, cannot play something new, even when I can follow the chords if I'm to play chord, but still cannot create line, i will say i don't know my problem with this
Oh year i grab.. a good way to solve this, is to listen to more covers, guitar jams and all.. Listen to different variations of a particular song. then try and practice them over time you'll definitely improve. creating melodies can be as simple as vocalizing or singing.. So when a chord progression is playing right, just try and come up with random melodies with your mouth... then try and implement them.. Doing this repeatedly will improve your ability to improvise.. as always dont forget to practice.. i hope this helps
Focus on getting things accurately first. When you get it accurately, speed will not be an issue. You can also use a “metronome” to practice. That will help with speed
Speed is not something to worry about when you get started. I think why you should worry about is to get it accurately first.. Speed comes with time. So my advice, is to work on accuracy and speed will not be as problem 😀👌
The chord progressions and everything concerning progression
alright
Not me realizing this guy's playing left handed
I was like the notes are sounding higher on the thicker strings
🤣🤣
Great job Mr Shalom.
@@Britemedia thank you so much !

Chord progression is my problem
I don’t know how to assign chord to songs

Please my speed in solo is slow i need help please
Focus on getting things accurately first.
When you get it accurately, speed will not be an issue.
You can also use a “metronome” to practice.
That will help with speed
But my problem is that I don't have melody in mind to make it a solo
Oh yeah I understand..
It’s important to get melody in mind.. a good way is to even make use of the melody of the song
Pls hear me
??
My soloing problem is speed
Speed is not something to worry about when you get started.
I think why you should worry about is to get it accurately first..
Speed comes with time.
So my advice, is to work on accuracy and speed will not be as problem 😀👌
