funny thing is...people who's fields are there had no problem with that dam...because if they did they would remove it themselves......yet for some strange reason you think that you have right to do that....go and use some 2by4 please
Why don’t you just incorporate the beavers into your irrigation plan. They are building water storage for you FOR FREE. Add some pipes that will let you CONTROL the flow.
Beavers stop the water flow OVER the dam b/c of the sound it makes. Noise inspires them to build taller. When an underwater pipe is installed, it keeps water flowing and them happy.
@@CATAZTR0PHE and how to install a pipe with enough flow capacity to empty the dam without destroy it allowing the beavers to come back and clog the pipe? It's not an easy problem to solve...
Great to see you doing the best thing of all, which is treading back and forth, releasing the mud with your boots and allowing the current to erode it away. As you know sticks are only the top of the dam, the beavers make the core out of mud and stones.
Agree Post 10 is getting too talkative and everyone is “an idiot”. This channel is much more relaxing. You go Mantas love your humble way of doing things.
I learned the hard way to watch what you grab. I tore out a beaver dam and grabbed a crabapple branch. I snapped one of the thorns off in the meat of my hand and had to have a doctor cut it out.
Great job. Looks like more rain to come. Sometimes you worry me standing in front of a dam like that. I'd hate for it to carry you away. Once again the farmers are indebted to you. Bet it's back in a day or two. Maybe they could give up. Lol. 👍👍👍👍😊🌟😉😊
You should produce and sell that rake your using....that rake is golden....i would buy one if it was like yours...that rake looks indestructable..unlike the just sold today.
That is magnificent work, it is, or should I say was, a massive dam. It would not have taken much more and they would have flooded part of the fields in the vicinity of the dam. Thank you for the great work that you have done in releasing this water, the drone footage was useful in showing the damage that can be done by the animals.
I have watched many of your videos. It iis good that you give of your time to help others. But I always wonder if anyone does something about the beavers. If they are not controlled, they just build it back.
Suggestion, if you swivel your camera between upstream and downstream, keep upstream steady for eight seconds before turning downstream. It makes your clips more professional
It looks like all the beavers in the area built this one. So massive and tightly woven together. I think they're onto you. They're going to make you work on this one
If all that flood water is caused by the beaver “ WHY” doesn’t the land owner do what you are doing ,after all it would be much easier for him to clear the ditch because more than likely he would have a machine, but then again he maybe thinking ,” if I wait a while the guy with the long yellow rake will come along and do it for me ,pour me another coffee mother 🇬🇧
Wow. Just wow. That current after the initial break is so strong. You are doing an awesome job. The feeling of accomplishment is rewarding. I was wondering, though, do you make the channel of the stream, as it was, before the beavers made the dam? I don't ever see, or have not noticed, the evening, making the land even, with the streams upriver, or downriver.
I mean like, do you make the land even, so that there is no torrent of water going over a waterfall, like it is, over other parts of the stream? Just wondering, because I don't ever see a before and after picture. You need to do a before and after picture to keep people to watch your channel. It would be so rewarding for us. I do enjoy your channel.
Greetings from the BIG SKY of Montana. I see, said the blind man. Lithuania needs to implement a water rodent element to the water policy. Storm clouds in the distance say rain to me.
The drone footage was incredible does show what can happen to surrounding farmland. I hope your neighborhood and other appreciate what you do for them It looks so dangerous. On a sadder note do you know or have you heard of anyone being seriously injured or worse dying doing this
I understand that parts of Europe have had an unusual amount of rain this year, resulting in lots of flooding. In a dry year these beaver dams might not be a big problem, but this year they are! This was quite a large dam!

i do hope the farmers appreciate you opening up water ways and removing the beaver dams...what a helpful service you are doing!
I love the drone views gives us a whole new perspective of the dam from the air!
Patiently watching and waiting for a mob of Angry Beavers to sneak attack😂 that looks like fun👍
I am patiently watching to see if he gets swept away, standing where he is. Beavers would be good too
It's amazing the little guy found enough branches to make that dam

Couldn't agree more! Work with, and around, the beavers.
Because humans are stupid and beavers aren't lol
Seriously though, these look like drainage ditches and not irrigation? Those paddocks would be mud or underwater otherwise?
Fantastic job on the site. Your methodology is the best, Kenislovas. Your the best. Enjoy your weekend. 🇱🇹👍😊🇺🇸

The landscape is pretty flat, not many trees are growing around. I wonder where they're getting the sticks for building such big dams.

I didn’t realize how important it was to your country’s agriculture industry to keep these channels open.
Yeah mate!
Wondering if you warned any downstream neighbors that they were going to have a small flood coming there way. That would be a good thing to do.
Good job. This seems to be the most stick-built dam that you have tackled.

My question is why don’t the farmers do the dam work it helps them. I think it is great that you do it for them.
Don’t know, maybe lack of time:)

It's good of you to leave the dam material for the beavers so they don't have to hunt for it
They don’t go near things humans have touched because they are scared of the smell apparently
Take a boat anchor and throw over the damn and then keep pulling. A few pulls would be a great start.
The next video should feature beaver stew (or beaver trapping / relocation)

If you don’t trap the beavers out, they often rebuild dams within days or weeks.
Nice one! Keep 'em coming!

It would be great if you filmed yourself removing the entire dam all the way down to the foundation. Just to stop the beavers from rebuilding.

@@WWBCC Too many beavers in Tennessee. 1 beaver dam every 50 foot.
That looked dangerous: water can be deceptively powerful. And I see the beavers have almost completed another dam a little upstream.
I thought that too at first, but beavers usually build all the way across then up. Looks more like a small peninsular out into the canal.
No it’s not a dam, just bushes for winter.
And during the summer when the fields are bone dry and the farmers are praying for rain they’ll wish they had the stored beaver water handy
Exactly, if a community wants water year round, let the beavers build!

Very dangerous. A lot of water to drain.

Thia dam was built one stick at a time, might as well remove it one stck at a time. Good video!
Good work man! But I will say one thing 1/4 stick of water resistant dynamite would have made that a quick and clean. Job:)
Not allowed here:(
