Voctave is, in my opinion, the finest ensemble of voices during our time. Your reaction is justified and yes, it is emotional. I can't listen to the music from this movie without reacting to it.
Every single one of your facial expressions echoed what I felt my face doing when I heard this for the first time. This was actually my introduction song to this amazing ensemble, and I will never be the same. Every aspect of this arrangement is transcendent.
That part with the dropped vowel on the long note is originally sung by an old character in the movie. The guy that sings it in this is actually a voice actor, not a singer (other than being in Voctave). He sometimes does character voices in his solos (scar in Disney heroes and villains medley, which you should check out) but I was surprised at how he handled this one. He's the baritone in the group, the taller guy with frosted tips. I agree it sounded throaty, and even though he can sing higher than that in his chest voice, he went with that more forced sound. It must have been for the character voice choice though, because he has sung full, held out chest A4s before. Thanks, as always for the Voctave reaction. Not many other TH-cam reactors are still doing them or recognize how hard what they do is. Cheers, merry Christmas and happy new year Chris.
This movie and music means a lot to me. It has always been the movie to connect me with my Jewish heritage the most since I watched it as a kid a lot. I get very emotional even though I'm not religious at all. Love your reaction, Chris! Your insight is what I come here for and I knew you'd have much to say on this one! Voctave does this so much justice.
Music is life! and YES, you should get emotional! It is a VERY emotional medley and story. My eyes leak every time I hear most of Voctave. Just such beauty and heartfelt joy! Happy New Year!
Greetings from Scotland! Great reaction Chris, Voctave just blow my mind every time, so glad you are reacting to them. Try their version of Someone Like You from Jekyll & Hyde ft Jody McBrayer, just stunning. Also, check out Sam Robson’s Acapella version of Deliver Us, jaw dropping arrangement and editing. I think you would love it. Stay safe, God bless.😀
Thank you for your channel and thank for your honest reactions to the music. I LOOOOOOVVEE music and love hearing the different aspects of the songs and how everything fits. I am a true Home Free fan watching you listen to there videos was so much fun. Watching you get the FULL impact of there singing style and harmony brings me back to when I first heard them. Again love your channel.
Voctave, as usual, did and an awesome job with this medley. Thanks for the reaction Chris and I greatly look forward to your first reaction to Angelina Jordan. You can choose any of her 150 videos since there is not one which is not awesome. You could begin with her on-stage debut at age 7 covering Billie Holiday's Gloomy Sunday or maybe a recent cover (age 15) of Adele's Easy On Me, or anything in between.
Diana Dickerson for 1 time siden Need to ask all homefries to go to taste of country top 10 music videos and vote to keep them in 1st place for Brothers in Arms. Thank you for the great reactions! Thanks to giving the guys first place, please vote, voting end tomorrow at noon
Ashley on the “my son…..” deliver us… just knocks me fully over.

The ending of this never fails to give me full body goosies.

This is my favorite song medley from Voctave. I still cry, every time!😍
Same
I cry every time I listen to them almost. When I saw them in concert I thought I would need a box of tissues.

Voctave from the same album, "Being Alive" with David Phelps!!! Wow, wow, wow!!!
Not the same album, but I agree
@@charliecampbell6851 Pardon me. It is from the first Broadway & Main Street album.....Not volume 2.
I wish I could see a video of them doing this. So amazing.

I holy night by Voctave. Please man, believe me))))
This is their best work thus far, as far as I'm concerned!
I hadn't seen the movie, either. I bought it after hearing them!

Hi Chris I would look at Voctave disney tv medley its lots of fun and very nostalgic!
stunning
One of my favorites 💖
Fabulous reaction to an awesome group.

I love how anyone who’s ever listened to a single Voctave song just knows that Kate is gonna step on everyone’s throat just for fun
The film score with motifs to the different songs is also phenomenal if you ever do watch the movie or look up the full score
Also you gotta react to their version of impossible dream. Their live version with the orchestra is the best!
I believe I’ve already said this but you need to react to the Disney love medley by voctave and Kristen from PTX.
Question: I have been stockpiling fall and winter clothing. I know its July, but when should we start listing them for Fall/Winter?
you should really listen to and react to the O Come O Come Emmanuel mashup with Kate's solo
Diana Dickerson

Chris you NEED to react to “Creep” by PostModern JukeBox featuring Haley Reinhart. It’s not acapella but it is fantastic, it needs your reaction!
YES!!!!!
