The harmonies in this are just glorious but then they always are. Another one with no beatboxing, just singing from Layne, is True Colours, and it's so moving. Both of these covers move me to tears. It's just so gorgeous. But then they often do.
You can add Can't Make You Love Me to that list, and is probably my favorite of their non-percussion songs where Layne sings. Everyone's performance in it is stellar, but Cesar just stands out... he rips my heart out every time I watch it.
It was fun watching your face.... the first stanza or so "interesting", "nice" and then the harmony came in and your face switched to pure joy. Geoff added so much to this arrangement, first to lengthen the song, and then to add that sweet, sweet, crunch feel to it. It is one of my very favorites! I'm so glad to see you back on the Voiceplay wagon!!
I would love to see the chart for this. Vocal jazz groups could take a master class from this song alone
Geoff Castelucci is a master of those crunchy chords.
“The dissonance is giving it” 😂😂😂 yesssssss it is!

@@zarasha8220 Absolutely.
So glad you reacted to this. In my opinion this is the most underrated Voiceplay song out there. It is practically perfect.

Chills, chills, chills all over ❤ That ending though 🥰
Yes, Chris, it's giving it😅😂😂
Loved your reaction to this gorgeous piece!
You need some gravy to go with them biscuits.
Wait until you hear Tim Foust's version of this song.
If there's dissonance, look first to Layne for being the one singing it.
I'm recognizing that his dissonance is always SPOT ON!
