Quinton, I assume Steve is the Bubotic weapon Plague Marine. Why not give him a Blight Launcher? Feel like PMs swing like a truck already, and blight launchers punch up *sometimes*
Personally I run a variant of Folger's list with one warden+champ squad dropped for 2 bikes and a captain. Also lets me put Radiant and Aegis on the two BC. The only downside is you can't put a tank and your bikes into reserve as it's just over 500 points. However the bikes need to be in reserve for the free ingress from the captain. I think if you know what you're doing you can use your tanks to scare your opponent and not get such a large base screened out. Or you can just hide the second tank until it needs to be used. Regardless, ingressing somewhere safe, albeit from an edge, still gives you a bit more leeway and allows you to get a 12" move after that reserve drop which you combine with your charge. You probably hurt whatever you charged enough if not killing it depending on the unit, then use the captains free post-fight move/fall back to a safer distance (using talons reactive move to stay safer if something tries to chase you). Plus if you killed the unit you charged, when you get your free normal move, you can drop your MW bomb as well. I haven't tested it extensively but I think it's pretty good
@timzuber6682 old rules. Pariah nexus: No more than half of the units in your army can start the battle in Reserves, and the points total of those units cannot be more than half of the points total of your army (units embarked within a TRANSPORT that is set up in Reserves also count towards these limits).
@ tanks and bikes don’t have deep strike, so they have to go into Strategic Reserves, not regular reserves. One of the wardens also goes into deep strike and is part of reserves but not strategic reserves
As a solid mid-tabler, I would not like to run this custodes list. All of my lists start with 2 grav tanks cos i need that crutch, they usually finish with 3 x 3 venetari and 2x4 wardens.
I am always glad to see Quinton on the channel ❤
Thanks Jack and Quinton.
RIP Steve, last in first out O7
Loved the video, Quinton was entertaining, as always
Four squads of Death Guard Cultists is illegal, but 11 Cultists in a 10 man squad is meta, from what I have heard!
I heard Jack say the Vertus Praetors have 4W. They actually now have 5W from the December balance dataslate.
The brigand rule was FAQd some time ago. GW considers the Brigands rule to apply to each weapon individually.
Damn bikes been bad for so long they got cobwebs on em.

215 point bad ass Custodes grav tank taking out 10 points of Cultists. Sweet!

You can put 50% of your army into reserves in Pariah nexus ;)
@@mikkelkirketerp4884 but only 25% into strat reserves. Bikes and tanks don't deepstrike so you can't use them to access the 50%

Loved watching this game as a DG player. Also, have loved playing games without Morty lately. Feel like DG can go so wide this way!

Lame custodes list
I mean, it isn't like Custodes have tons of models to pull from and the list isn't exactly standard. Seems like a weird complaint.
It would be a weird complaint, if this list wasn't bizarrely terrible. Jack and Quin basically say it is too
@@andrewchristy530custodes have several builds to choose from, and quite a few FW units are in favour now. Weird response.
it was kinda strange yeah but it's good to make experiments, it was fun see too much bikes in action
