Why can't all our Indian news anchors read out news like her, instead of the kitschy, over the top, dramatic version we all see today. I mean just look at this video, the content is fantastic. Well researched and equally well presented! Please keep up the great work. This quality of journalism is neither strived for nor is it made available by any other so called NEWS channels.

One needs to spend good amount of time researching on topics they are going to talk about. Without that, you will just read what is appearing on the screen or script that has been handed over to you. This will obviously make you scream and repeat things as there wouldn't be any substance in what you present. As they say, "Empty Vessels make more noise"!!!

In the US it hasn’t been called the Wuhan Flu since Trump was in office. There may be some arguments about its true origins, but, we all know that this virus was being researched in the Wuhan Lab. Fauci spoke about this research in front of millions. It doesn’t really matter to me what we call it. I just think that if there’s something wrong with calling it such, what’s the problem?

The US army isn’t in the Middle East to protect the American oil supply. It’s to protect everyone else’s oil. The US became 100% energy self sufficient last year and will remain so for decades to come. The US actually exports oil now days. A 13-year-old girl has been raped and murdered in India.
Her body was found in a sugarcane field in northern Uttar Pradesh state, police said on Saturday. Two neighbours in the village have been arrested.
Police have denied the father's account that his daughter had had her eyes gouged out and her tongue cut.
Rape and sexual violence have been under the spotlight in India since the 2012 gang rape and murder of a young woman on a bus in the capital, Delhi.
That attack led to huge protests and changes to the country's rape laws, but there has been no sign of crimes against women and girls abating.
According to recent crime figures, every fourth rape victim in India is a child. In an overwhelming number of rape cases, the victims know the perpetrators.
Four men executed for 2012 Delhi bus rape
Why India's rape crisis shows no signs of abating
Raped for money 'by her father's friends'
The pregnant child caught in a media storm
The latest incident occurred late on Friday in Pakaria village in the Lakhimpur Kheri district, police said.
The family went searching for their daughter after she failed to return from a toilet break out in the fields.
They say they found her body mutilated.
But police said the post-mortem examination had concluded that she had died from strangulation after being raped - but not that her eyes had been gouged out or that her tongue had been cut.
"There were scratches near the eyes, likely due to the sharp sugarcane leaves where the body was found," police spokesman Satendra Kumar said.
A senior member of the Opposition Congress Party, Jitin Prasada, condemned the attack as "saddening".
"The inhuman act with a girl has put humanity to shame," he said, according to the Times of India newspaper.
The incident comes months after the case of a six-year-old girl who was abducted outside her home in Madhya Pradesh state and raped.
The attacker inflicted severe injuries to the child's eyes, in an apparent attempt to stop her identifying him.
In February, a 25-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping a five-year-old girl on the premises of the US embassy in Delhi.
In November last year, the gang rape and murder of a 27-year-old vet in the southern city of Hyderabad also made global headlines and triggered protests.

What I like about WION is the presentation of relevant topics by Ms. Palki Sharma Upadhyaya in a cool, peaceful manner. Every topic is really informative and recently her discussion on Sleep was very educative. Regarding oil and its importance in our life, while petroleum is closely associated with petrol and diesel for use in transport vehicles since the automobile industry guzzles a large chunk of it. Though petroleum has innumerable by-products ,yet once the alternative fuel replaces petrol in transport, the influence of Middle -East is bound to reduced. Petroleum is not merely a product, the producing countries of Middle East influenced geo-pilitics and also remained a hot&bed for religious fundamentalist organizations which made use of precious Petro dollars for destruction of precious life. So the alternative fuel is bound to change the course and balance of power and of history. Not for nothing,Saudi crown prince Mohammed Bin Salman is trying to shift emphasis from oil .

You could also have spoken about the harmful manner in which oil is used by the world, its polluting abilities, plastic arising out of petroleum, just to name two.
I have read in Prof. Will Durant's Story of Civilization that in Persia, Naphtha was know even at the time of Alexander's invasion. When he saw naphtha for the first time and was told about its ability to burn, he ordered Naphtha poured over a ten year old captive boy and set him afire.

I worked with Shell Technologies Bangalore till 2016.
As a giant in the oil business they had a very clear vision. In early 2016 they re-calibrated their business retrieving their workforce and resources in oil businesses to just sustaining level, but keept its gas and petrochemical activities as usual. As a result the associated workforce was seriously impacted with relocation and volunteered retirement schemes.
I loved to live life with early retirement at 59 then.

A very informational video. Just wanna share my thoughts here. For me, the future of oil is when we should get out of the box and leave the traditional set up. I like the idea of ECOSC which is to apply Blockchain Technology in the Global Commodities Industry. This is a great way to improve the system and attain high efficiency. Even if you're not into crypto, you will surely amaze by ECOSC's goal. DYOR ECOSC now.
