The funny thing is that there is a difference between the two audio clips of him saying bar. When it sounds like he is saying far he is actually tucking his bottom lip while when he says bar he doesn't tuck his lip under his teeth. This is an interesting topic that needs to be researched more, but you don't need to lie to make yourself seem smart.

The tritone paradox also works with your car. When you turn on your turn signal, you get the clock clock of different tones. Even cooler, you can decide which one you hear. In the video, play the clip over again and tell yourself to hear what you didn't last time. Cool

To all those facing problem with the second one, the one with the circles,
Did you all even understand it. I didn't at first and then I started researching. The circle does flash twice and you are supposed to see it twice with that 'poik' sound in both flashes. Next it was played 'poik' at only one circle and the other did apear but it was supposed to trick you that only one circle appeared since the second one did not appear with sound.
Since his circle was too big on the screen and the flash speed was too slow we all could see both circles in both rounds. Also the colour and the pitch of that 'poik' sound was too high to make this work. Hope this helps you.
I turned off the audio and saw the circle twice I was then confused, thanks for clearing it up

so i have a microwave in my house, and it has this unique melody it plays when the timer is done. when me and my sister (i'm 14, she's 20) hear the tone, we think the last note is high. when we mimic the tone to my parents, they say they hear the last note descending/lower than the last. could this be the age difference, like our brain picks up different sound as we age, or is this just another form of "tritone paradox", or even just two notes being played simultaneously, but we each only hear one?

1) McGurk: listening while looking, listen as Bar (Im not native; I give balanced priority to both looking and listening, so this may help me analyze more accurate)
2) Ear alter Eye: No need of much attention, 1 blink occurs.
3) Tritone detection : Asc Dec Asc Asc (Does anyone has the solved answer? Or just checked on DAW/AudioEditor) (Ok Im not sure about this after many retrying.)
4) Shepard: I think this is most difficult here as this is only one I have confusion if I doesn't carefully listen to it. In the first played sound, it drops the octave on the last period of beep (its very confused when deciding whether first or second beep of last period does that dropping); these is result when I carefully listening.
PS 2) When slow down video and hear it carefully it changed to asc asc asc asc

I’ve been trying to train myself to hear the less obvious sound like the harmony in a song, sometimes it’s really hard. I like to sing the harmony part in a song, that’s why lol

Okay this is pretty freaking. I just heard laurel and many of my friends heard yanny, and i couldnt understand how they can hear Yanny when it was clear as day to me that it was laurel, and me after listening to it again and again I cant hear Yanny.
But after listening to it again after some 2 hrs, I am now just hearing Yanny, and cant hear laurel at all. Why is that? Its freakish
It's because you mind has a hard time interpreting what is receiving, a mix between high and low frequencies, so it picks one. If your able to concentrate hard enough you might be able to hear both frequencies at the same time.
Interesting! The Bar/Far one didn't work on me (I just kept hearing bar lol), and I didn't quite understand the Sheppard tone one, it sounded like they just replayed the video 😂 otherwise, very spooky and cool!
