    Madam, you are absolutely right BUT our former CJI headed a bench which heard a case involving him. Result : He was not removed from SC or impeached. Now, he is a nominated member of Rajya Sabha and he took upon himself of raising his voice for judiciary (I think this was what he said)

    Sucheta.. good analogy. 17 months ago, this issue of Adani was swept under the carpet on nationalism and "conspiracy against India". This same narrative comes in again and what shocks is how blatantly top fund managers are getting " blindsided " due to their own bias and greed of keeping the bull markets going. Some day all this is going to hit hard.. It's going to be painful for investors.. The Opposition has too many political distractions which will bury this latest salvo from Hindenburg..

      @NagarajanVasudevaRao61 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Exactly. It stuck me and I wanted to mention about the former CJI case. You've already said it. Comparing the SEBI case with Pinochet case is an amazing creativity. At the same time a mention of the CJI case would have been timely and pertinent.
      BTW, what is the status Chitra Ramakrishna: the latest is that "the Securities Appellate Tribunal SAT reduced the Rs. 5 crore penalty imposed against Ramakrishna to Rs. 25 lakh. The appellate tribunal found that Ramakrishna was negligent in her duties as the MD and CEO of NSE and failed to exercise due diligence...." This is also being appealed against. The SAT order is kept in stay.

    Now, All board members of #SEBI need to come clean on where they stand in this case?
    Sebi makes rules every other day on matters of propriety on how the 9Cr investors and other entities need to comply😅
    The fin min needs to check on the antecedents of all sebi board members as they come from different background? 😮
    Importantly, all issues in the past 7 years that #SebiChairperson adjudicated has to be verified if it had connection either with the offshore funds that Buch invested or to the company in which she holds 99% 😮

    You choice of analogy to Pinochet extradition in UK is just silly. Actually you dont need to compare to UK court to prove your point. Because, in Julian Assange case, the woman judge has direct conflict with Julian Assange, yet no one gave fk about her conflict of interest. Just so you know, if Pinochet was Julian Assange, UK would have extradited Pinochet.
    So, you should not have chose a geopolitical imperialism case as analogy to Adani corrupt SEBI woman case.
