Layer your rug. Get a smaller rug with more of a tan pattern to lay on top of that one so u won’t be bugged out of your mind about the dust it collects.

You should get a rug pad to go under the area rug it makes a HUGE difference to the look and feel! Amazon has adhesive tabs you can stick under the rug on each corner to keep it from rolling up. Invest in it, it saves you a headache in the long run.

You can buy a special tape for underneath the rug that holds it down from Amazon. It’s amazing!!
You can get a rug pad and rug to keep the rug down. You can put the rug pad first to keep it from moving then tape the corners of the rug down to the pad(so you don't have to tape it to the floor)

Re the Rug, a lil bit of double sided tape might keep the corners down. I've done this with a rug to prevent it from sliding all over the place & curling @ the corners. Hope this helps.

The dining room chair is GORGEOUS 😍 The wood doesn’t match your accent chair though sis. Idk, what you were seeing when you said that 😂 The living room needs a pop of color either via art, pillows or rugs. It’ll break up the monotony in the room with all of the neutrals. I would actually swap out the accent chair for one with a pop of color then keep the dining chairs.

You need more natural woods in your living room. I feel like everything is 1 dimensional since everything is beige. Or colorful pillows and rug. I also don't think your dining table matches the chairs but I looooveeee the chairs.
