Edgar Winter is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. Johnny Winter is one of the greatest blues guitarists ever. They had their own bands and style, but when they performed together, they created magic.

Epic performance! I never saw Edgar perform live ( he was singing) but I did see Johnny perform several times. Both brothers are amazing! (Johnny can sing too!)

1970s. He also produced 3 Grammy Award winning for blues singer and guitarist
Muddy Waters. Ha was inducted into the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame in 2003, he
was ranked number 63 in Rolling Stone magazine´s list of the 100 Greatest guitarist

My dad listened to the Blues back in the day, drinking wine 🍷 with his Marine Corps buddies, And at the age of 10 I wasn’t interested in this type of music ( wine drinking music) but as I got older I expanded my love for music gospel, soul, hip hop and as recently as 2010 I started listening to the Blues and some low down dirty blues and some jazz and discovered Jonny and Edgar Winters music INCREDIBLE 👏👏👏 I
Just turned 60 a month ago and I wondered why their name sounded familiar to me I was 8 old in 1972 ( hopefully I got the year right 😆) I heard a odd instrumental song called Frankenstein and the name of the group was The Edgar Winters Group! OMG 😳!!. I love that song 🎧 and I could visualize it in my young head Bright Lights flashing, crazy colors. I’m hearing it in my head right now, it still stands out to this day. I’m going to be making my Halloween 🎃 playlist for October and I will be blasting it on. I just recently discovered Tobacco Road and it takes me back to the old days when My Little Back woods Church would be rolling like this I miss those days 😢. I just got taken back to Church by 2 albino brothers!! I love 💕 it!! I’m going to check out some more of their music! Love SRV, Jimmy Hendrix and Prince, he played multiple instruments 🎸 and I don’t know if there’s anyone that can still do that. Hats off to The Winters Brothers!! BRAVO 🙌🏾 👏🙌🏾

Okay, so you loved Edgar Winter Live in studio in Frankenstein, from 1973. You were flabbergasted. He didn't play the drums this time, but he sang instead, with amazing Scat, too. His older brother, Johnny, also an Albino, shows what a tremendous guitarist he was. Amazing musical family, and a great performance again! Glad you enjoyed it.

Edgar Winter Group - super bluesy. What can you say! Reminds me of "Humble Pie - Black Coffee". You would love that one with the great Steve Marriot and Peter Frampton in this sixties supergroup!

I've had the great fortune of seeing both of them live, Edgar at least 3 times, and Johnny once. Each of them are great on their own, but both together is astonishing. Keep exploring new music, and bringing us great videos. 🙏❤

Yep. There were 2 of them and then you add their friend and guitarist Rick Derringer who formed his own band & you got the great concert that we went to see back then. 1st up was Rick Derringer. Then Johnny Winter. Then Edgar Winter. After they all did their sets and encores, all got together for a final encore.

Edgar and Johnny were an amazing blues duet, as well as brothers. Unfortunately Johnny, the guitar player, passed away in 2014 while on tour in Switzerland. Edgar's keyboards, saxophone, and vocals are outstanding in this classic blues song.

There is a list of musicians that have sold their soul to the devil to be great. The Winter boys made a much better deal. All they sold was their pigment. A good deal indeed.
