Absolute worst as in most gruesome? The Classroom Trap in Saw III. What would make an incredible reaction? The Rack and A Pound of Flesh. But those would be heavily censored.
Gruesome traps? How about the train/tongue trap or the finger trap in Spiral - From the Book of Saw? There are plenty of gruesome traps in the entire Saw series you could react to, please do more Saw videos!
With the woman who stuck her hands into the trap trying to get the syringe, yes you are correct that she was not thinking clearly. She was poisoned and at that point in the movie was barely conscious.
That trap was clearly designed to fail since the syringe was glued to the base of the box. She screwed herself by inserting both hands into the openings, as opposed to using her free hand to release her trapped hand from the outside of the box.
@@OtakuAnime01 no, she's just an idiot. Behind the box there is a lock with a key in it so if she didn't shove her hand in like a moron(which understandable given the situation) she could get it for free
To answer your questions about the key: One of Jigsaw’s apprentices is a doctor named Lawrence Gordon. He’s in charge of any surgical procedures involved with the traps. Gordon inserted the key behind the eye through an incision he made underneath the eye (In fact, you don’t actually need to cut into your eye to get the key. You just need to cut the stitches over where the key was inserted and fish it out through there). The reason they put it behind his eye is because Michael Marks (the guy in the Death Mask) worked as an informant for a dirty cop named Eric Matthews, who was guilty of police brutality and planting evidence. Jigsaw often designs his tests in a way that relates to the victims and the sins they’ve committed, and since Michael’s job required him to spy on others, his test required him to sacrifice one of his eyes (the part of his body that he needs the most for his job) in order to save himself.
It's also not advisable and unnecessary to cut the eye at all. What you SHOULD do if you ever find yourself in this unlikely situation is to pull your eye forward until pops out enough that you can get at the key. You will dislocate your eye and it will be very painful, but as long as you're careful not to cut your optical nerves, it CAN be done and you can even save the eye that way.
I'll never accept the stupidity of Saw 7 to be canon. They never should've succumbed to peer pressure and use Gordon again. He should've remained dead or a mystery.
The first trap in the video was actually not created by Jigsaw, it was made by a character named Mark Hoffman, and he made it to be unsolvable, and the victim was the guy who murdered his sister
For those who haven’t seen Saw 2, the reason the woman reached into the box for the syringe is because she thought it had the antidote for the neurotoxin all the characters had been infected with

"everyone deserves a chance"
@@skullyskaric7779 saw 3 clearly shows that Amanda’s traps are unbeatable. Take the classroom trap as an example Amanda purposely welded the door shut so that Troy couldn’t escape
The very last trap you covered is technically the first trap ever. Cecil was a patient of John Kramer's [ Jigsaw ] pregnant wife Dr. Jill Kramer, who ran a clinic for addicts. Cecil came in one night at closing under the pretense of getting his jacket that he forgot, but was actually there to rob the place at the behest of his gf Amanda. On his way out, Cecil hit Jill's abdomen with the door and caused her to begin going into miscarriage. Though he didn't mean to, he didn't stop to help her either. He and Amanda fled. Jill lost the baby and from this, the loss of their son Gideon, Jigsaw was born. John made this trap to test Cecil, both as revenge and as a means of testing out his new... Philosophy. Cecil ends up getting out of the trap, but attempts to attack John, who dodges and Cecil lands in a pit of barbed wire that constricts around and kills him. I'm sure John knew he would react that way, so this is probably the only instance of him creating a trap that was not truly meant for the person to escape if they had the will to live at any cost. Honestly, I would LOVE to see you cover more of these traps. SAW is one of my favourite horror series to date and it has such a brutal, sad and complex story.
@Last Wesker There's a Japanese version of this series called "X Game" and it's better than the Saw movies. I love James Wan and his style of horror, it motivates me to want to be like that some day sooner than later, making my own scary movies, but that is one series I do not like. Not because of the blood, I grew up on Horror movies from buffs like my parents. "X Game" for whatever reason, actually had a rhym and a reason for the brutality of the games and the reasoning for the main character being tortured the most, is simply because a girl, while in middle school, that he bullied and spread rumors about. Who committed suicide, and those games were started by her big sister who wanted revenge on the bullies that 'killed' her sister. That's why you see the main character and his current girlfriend got the worst tortures and 'punishment' games.
I was thinking, how can he be watching this in such a calm mood but I realized: He’s a doctor so he’s actually seen the insides and bad injuries in real life
A few years ago I visited my nephew and we went to the Halloween party at his school. They had one of the gross substances in buckets things. On the way from the classroom he asked if I was nervous. He said why not? I told him I see and touch gross things at work all the time. Of course I work in healthcare. So by the time we got to the playroom where everything was set up, I had a dozen 6 year olds asking what kind of gross things I had seen and touched 🙄 I don't think the teachers approved, but all I told them was about tracheostomies. My job entails cleaning them, clearing them of mucus and sometimes replacing one if it comes out accidentally or changing it to a smaller size. One adorable little girl came up to me while we were playing games in the gym and told me her grandfather had a trach for years before he passed "... but he could breathe so much better." We had a nice hug.
Beh, anch’io lo guardo in modo così tranquillo, ma semplicemente perché so che è tutto falso 😅 Non mi fanno alcun effetto il sangue o le budella nei film
If you do a part 2 I recommend checking out Doctor Lyn's _game_ from Saw 3. Her game isn't a physically painful one, instead being forced to preform life sustaining treatment on Jigsaw.
Can’t watch that one. When Lynn had to cut open his skull with a power saw and drill holes to relieve pressure- ugh. I love horror, but, that scene was a lot 😂
The glass box trap is the one Saw moment that has been engraved in my brain. I know there were several worse traps but for some reason it’s the glass box that partially scarred me
Imo it's cause most people have been cut in some way, even superficially, so cutting injuries are super relatable which makes them most uncomfortable to watch.
That was one of the few scenes in saw that I've ever watched. and what's most upsetting about it is that it was TOTALLY avoidable if she had just thought it through for a second or two.
What an educated man. Somehow knowing the intricate details of how each of the traps seals your death makes them that much more terrifying. Great video
The syringe one was actually more beatable than you think. According to behind the scenes info, a key was just a few steps forward. She could’ve unlocked the box and taken the antidote easily.
Being an absolute horror thriller buff, Saw is definitely one of my favorite franchises, mainly for its crazily complex story. Seeing this realistically covered was really awesome!
For the key behind the eye thing, they explain a lot in one of the sequels. I love how the plot evolves and is revealed little by little over the franchise.
The plot is revel slowly? There was no plan beyond one movie. The “plot” relies on a stupid convoluted wtf of impossible omnipotence and coincidence. It’s like two children arguing their way through telling a story. “But no it was really this, but no this, no it was this…”
@@AveragePicker I think the plot was useless after the first 3 movies . it was like they said "OK screw the plan! just put torture devices on people and let then figure it out!"
6:14 It's actually an antidote for a poison. You see, the game she and a few others are playing is that they're trapped in a house in where they're breathing in a toxic gas that'll kill them in 2 hours and the front doors will open in 3 hours. So they have to get the antidotes in order to live long enough to escape the house.
7:11 fun fact, this was his first ever 'test', this guy, killed not only john's wife, but his unborn baby as well, because the man slammed a door into her belly when she was against a wall
The reason the surgeries/medical stuff happen in the series is cause one of Jigsaw's apprentices is a surgeon, actually! That eyeball key scene specifically is shown being done by that apprentice in the 7th film.
The Saw series is one of my favorite Horror movie franchises. I've seen every one of them and they are full of scenes worth breaking down. Especially the third one.
The Venus fly trap eye delio has been discussed a lot, but I figured I'd mention it. A lot of folks have pointed out that you can beat that trap by just placing your arms in the front and back of your head.
The leverage wouldn't be completely stopped by the encumbrance of your arms, instead it would just render you useless with punctures on your arms and your head, making it much more miserable and agonizing.
Correction on the Venus Flytrap, the eye has been replaced with the key, so, the “contestant” has to slice off his lower eyelid to make the key slide out of his eye socket. Also, please do more of these Saw traps reaction since I always enjoy hearing your medical advices on anything fictional, especially on my favorite games/movies/series.
I’ve learned a lot medical terms and such from my parents who are both nurses (father is an OR nurse and mother is a rehab nurse) so when I watch these I have more or less an idea of what is being discussed
Recently discovered this channel after seeing you and your wife reacting to 1000 ways to die (binged that show, it was insane!) now seeing you've done saw traps too, you're now my new favourite non time travelling doctor! 😁
Why can't Jigsaw help people to appreciate life in **a positive way** instead of investing all that time and energy killing them in horrible death-traps? What he does is so counter-productive!
When I was in a really dark time, my friend immediately heard and came over with some tea, chocolates and the saw movies on blu ray. I was too squeamish to watch them on my own but We stayed up all night watching them. Low and behold, my friends love, support, and the movies gory morals snapped me out of it! Ironically, Saw literally saved my life! 😂
I think a good halloween one to react to would be the scenes from would you rather, very similar to saw in concept. Would really enjoy seeing you break down scenes from this movie.
Underrated movie imo. First time I seen it I was just going through Netflix n thought it would be bland but something you could shut your mind off. I was very pleasantly surprised with it. That ending man
@@DoctorER oh it certainly was; though I felt you only scratched the surface on all the saw traps that could be covered such as how Dr. Gordon escaped his trap and saved himself.
The Saw franchise has a lot of traps that you could react to. I don’t know if you plan on watching the Saw movies in your free time so I don’t want to spoil it for you. One interesting thing about the glass box trap the woman had to deal with is that if you noticed on the back of the box, you can see it is padlocked with the key in the lock.

I love the saw movies soooooo much, even tho im waaay to young to watch them i still love them and i keep re watching them so it's cool to see saw in a doctors perspective (:
Halloween 2 (1981) took place in a hospital with plenty of hospital scenes. would be nice to see you react to how much has changed in the last 40 years since then doc.
A question to the last trap, the ones with all the knives: from a medical point what would be the best way to get through it? Starting with little force and carefully applying more and more force to push through the knives, or using huge amounts of force right away to try and get through the knives as quickly as possible?
Maybe you could react to DC Comic Villains' Injuries! Examples: Joker's Chemical Bath- Batman: The Killing Joke Harvey becomes Two-Face (either Batman The Animated Series or The Dark Knight movie) Bane's venom transformation (or when he's having too much venom from Batman the Animated Series)
All of those traps were bad…but the really bad ones weren’t even here (thank you for that, actually). Saw is a great series but it’s also hard to watch 😱😱😱
I would like to see Dr. Wagner do a medical review of each of the traps to see what is the best chance of survival within each film of the franchise because there shouldn't be as many deaths in this franchise as is depicted.
It's not exactly 'Halloween' themed but the TV show Supernatural is one of my all time favorite shows and I would love to see your take on some of the injuries they go through
I actually felt sick watching this, if it wasn't for the constant iterruptions I probably wouldn't have finished it. I seriously can't understand how people sit through whole films of it. Great video as always regardless, it seems Doctor Wagner always has something to add in any situation!
I personally found it helpful to look at the behind the scenes stuff where they're showing makeup, fake body parts and all that stuff. Reinforced that none of what you're looking at is real. I also really enjoy the story and characters. The gory stuff out of context isn't why most people watch the series, I think, since it's like 60% cop plot and 40% trap plot.
The Venus Fly Trap game is by far one of the most impossible and most interesting traps. The amount of mental stuff that goes behind being able to cut your own eye out is absurd. Also, if you do it incorrectly, you can end up accidentally hitting a nerve that could cause death in a few minutes.
Omg I've been wanting you to react to Saw for so long, this is awesome! I'd love for you to do more parts to this, if you do I'd really like to see you react to the brain surgery scene from Saw III, the rack from Saw III, and the cube trap from Saw V, just to name a few
Going to say before even watching the video, hope Jordan keeps reacting to Saw. It might be a bit questionable though with regards to monetization and possibly requiring some censorship. Most reaction would probably be The Rack.
It would be cool to see your reaction to the scream movies, maybe tell us how or why, some of them survive easily or if they would die as fast as it shows Also, another great video, doc 👍🏻
Great take on substance abuse Dr. An addict can only be helped if they help themselves I abused substances for around 10 years, been clean over 7 years now though.
Hey doc, you should react to Sniper Elite 5 Injuries. It's a sniping game where it shows x-rays of where the bullet hit inside of the body and the damage. It's pretty cool.
Found in the recommendations. Instant sub. Do a second part of the video, it just screams for that! Saw III has the most interest for you, i'm pretty sure in that. Especially such hard conditions as the freezer trap or the Rack Also if you like thrillers with social commentary, like you said, squid game, this is something that is interesting to watch, it becomes more of a detective movie later on. But if it is really hard for you to watch people die stick to the theatrical cut.

Father - медбрат
Damn
So excited to see you finally do Saw! This is great and I can't wait to see more from the series! There's definitely more games to play 💖💖
@7:37 How right you are.
*John Kramer:* _"You can't help them. They have to help themselves."_
YESSSSS! The saw franchise is my absolute favorite. Please do more of these! 🙌🏼
I’ve been asking for a Saw series reaction for about a year and finally it’s here you didn’t disappoint doc! Can’t wait for more parts to come
Thank you for bluring, as i have watched them unblured, this helps me watch the video easier
Irony
That's a good friend
good thing you didn’t get in a trap
Im kind of surprised there arent already four or five Saw videos by now. I’ve been looking forward to it
I think a good halloween one to react to would be the scenes from would you rather, very similar to saw in concept. Would really enjoy seeing you break down scenes from this movie.
I'll look into! Thanks for the recommendation!
Underrated movie imo. First time I seen it I was just going through Netflix n thought it would be bland but something you could shut your mind off. I was very pleasantly surprised with it. That ending man
Whoever asked him to react to Saw, you’re a hero
6:46 if she would've examined the box more thoroughly she would've noticed the lock with the key in it behind it
as a person with a surgeon as a family member i want to say i love your channel. she kept asking me to watch you and I'm glad i did. Subscribed.
oh... also... bless the ER peeps. you guys are amazing.
Ah thank you!
Glad you are reacting to Saw. It's my favorite horror movie.
Hope you like this Saw reaction! Let me know your favorite Saw trap!
@@DoctorER In Saw 7 they had Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington (RIP) back glued into the leather seat of a car. I'm bias as it's Linkin Park. XD
Oh man, ever since I discovered your channel, I have been WAITING for the day you would cover SAW traps. Thank you for finally doing that.
Thanks!! Hope it was worth the wait :)
Each participant in the game from 6:07 is gradually killed and weakened by the gas. One of the few films where the stupidity of the main characters is justified
I absolutely love these movies and it’s so fun to watch with medical insight!!
I think we gonna need a part 2.
What Saw traps should I check out for a part 2?!
@@DoctorER the rack from saw 3, the pound of flesh from saw six, The car trap from saw 7, the chain trap, the reverse bear trap from saw 1 and 7. Ivan’s game from saw 4, and so much more!
@@DoctorER In the first one where he had to saw his foot off to escape. I was hoping for that one in this video.
@@Cosmos6745 the saw 5 ending
@@DoctorER Saw 1: When Dr. Gordon cuts off his own foot.
Saw 3: When Detective Matthews smashes his foot.
Saw 4: When two victims pull spikes out of their bodies.
Saw 5: When two victims have to sacrifice their blood to fill a beaker.
Saw 5: When Detective Strahm is crushed to death.
Saw 6: When two victims have to cut off their own flesh & body parts.
Saw 6: When Detective Hoffman smashes his hands.
I love seeing your reaction to these horror movies doctor also I love it how you explain to watch out and how to be safe
Thanks!! Let me know what horror movie I should react to next :)
@@DoctorER maybe react to Friday the 13 but heads up it is really R rated not for kids or maybe ghost face or hills have eyes ( cannibal hillbilly monsters )
@@DoctorER Martyrs (2008) they even dissed Saw by saying "Makes Saw look like Sesame Street" (Make sure it's the correct one and not the American remake from 2015)
AWESOME, I remember when I suggested Saw, so nice to see you actually did it for your viewers doc.
Here hoping for a part II.
As someone who's owned an ophthalmologist practice for 17 years, the key behind the eye and the actor using a scalpel to get it out is what 70% of our patients think what happens when our ophthalmologists recommend they need cataract surgery.
Now... retinal detachment surgery.........
Nah, it's ok.
Bro I remember watching the kid eat the razor in the candy never forgot it,
Halloween 2 is action packed!!!
A question to the last trap, the ones with all the knives: from a medical point what would be the best way to get through it? Starting with little force and carefully applying more and more force to push through the knives, or using huge amounts of force right away to try and get through the knives as quickly as possible?
Imagine being in a life or death situation and this guy is just sat next to you explaining why your bleeding in pain...
😩😩😩😂
@@DoctorER btw love your content
The pain in his voice at 5:45 😫🤣
7:22 Tell me why he made the gta wasted sound with the defibrillators 😂
YEEESSSSSS! We get to see his reactions and medical perspective on these brutal traps! I've always wondered!
Maybe you could react to DC Comic Villains' Injuries! Examples:
Joker's Chemical Bath- Batman: The Killing Joke
Harvey becomes Two-Face (either Batman The Animated Series or The Dark Knight movie)
Bane's venom transformation (or when he's having too much venom from Batman the Animated Series)
All of those traps were bad…but the really bad ones weren’t even here (thank you for that, actually). Saw is a great series but it’s also hard to watch 😱😱😱
I'm the kind of person that can't handle the anxiety of a situation like this. I wouldn't even try. I'd just give up from the start and die.
I would like to see Dr. Wagner do a medical review of each of the traps to see what is the best chance of survival within each film of the franchise because there shouldn't be as many deaths in this franchise as is depicted.
THAT PREDATIR REFERANCE!!!! "I aint got time to bleed" ME AND MY FATHER LOVE IT!!!!!
Editing was on point huh
@@DoctorER yup!!! As i wrote in an other comment could you kind sir react to a god of war game of your choice ofcourse?
Yes! God of War is on my radar!
@@DoctorER WELL THATS COOL FOR MOST OF US!! ofcourse we the fanbase dont neceseraly like the new one more so it doesnt matter which one you pic
4:20 that cut from from grueling death to the explanation was hilariously abrupt.
It's not exactly 'Halloween' themed but the TV show Supernatural is one of my all time favorite shows and I would love to see your take on some of the injuries they go through
Loved that nod to one of the greatest Power Ranger villains in history.
We can tell this guy is having so much fun right now
5:08 an action committed in anger is an action doomed to failure- gengis khan
No way my day keeps getting better and better 😳 I fuckin love SAW. Obsessed with it, DIDNT expect you to react to it ngl.
Awesome. Editor did fantastic too
@@DoctorER for real! And damn that fast of a reply?! SHEEESH
I actually felt sick watching this, if it wasn't for the constant iterruptions I probably wouldn't have finished it. I seriously can't understand how people sit through whole films of it. Great video as always regardless, it seems Doctor Wagner always has something to add in any situation!
The first movie (he didn't show) is much less this and more Seven. It would have been great as a stand-alone film.
I got nightmares after the third film. The thought of someone kidnapping you and placing you into one of these machines is terrifying
Although i watched everyone of them, I also felt sick
Jigsaw had one of his partners ( who is a surgeon) to put the key in back of his eye.( the doctor himself was a victim of one of Jigsaw’s trap)
The Venus Fly Trap game is by far one of the most impossible and most interesting traps. The amount of mental stuff that goes behind being able to cut your own eye out is absurd. Also, if you do it incorrectly, you can end up accidentally hitting a nerve that could cause death in a few minutes.
Loved the reactions here. Saw has always been one of my favorite horror series
That fluid in the Needle was an Antidote to a nerve gas
I watched all the saw movies... And gotta say... Brutal as heck
I never thought you would react to this. I'm glad you did. Thank you :)
Hope you enjoyed this Saw reaction! Let me know what I should react to next :)
My favourite horror franchise and one of my favourite channels. Perfect evening
Would you kindly do a part two of Saw please? There are so many more I would love to see a doctor go over. 😃
People forget that when you're bleeding badly, you're losing oxygen too.
Omg thank you for explaining the pendulum trap I never understood why it was considered unbeatable until now
Love your reactions to these scenes doc
Much love ♥️🙏
Thank you so much! What was your favorite Saw trap?
I think it'd be kinda fun for Halloween if you reacted to The Human Centipede.
Honestly that film just grosses me out tbh lol.
It would be cool to see your reaction to the scream movies, maybe tell us how or why, some of them survive easily or if they would die as fast as it shows
Also, another great video, doc 👍🏻
Great take on substance abuse Dr. An addict can only be helped if they help themselves
I abused substances for around 10 years, been clean over 7 years now though.
I love billy the puppet and I love the saw franchise so much ❤
Hey doc, you should react to Sniper Elite 5 Injuries. It's a sniping game where it shows x-rays of where the bullet hit inside of the body and the damage. It's pretty cool.
Thrilled you reacted to this. The Saw series is one of my guilty pleasures 😅 that pendulum trap definitely made me grind my teeth
Found in the recommendations. Instant sub.
Do a second part of the video, it just screams for that! Saw III has the most interest for you, i'm pretty sure in that. Especially such hard conditions as the freezer trap or the Rack
Also if you like thrillers with social commentary, like you said, squid game, this is something that is interesting to watch, it becomes more of a detective movie later on. But if it is really hard for you to watch people die stick to the theatrical cut.
Nice shout out to Ivan Ooze, I'm sure the younger viewers have no clue who he is
7:46 Carefull Doc, you just recited one of Jigsaw's beliefs: "You can't save people, they have to save themselves."
