I totally agree with you! I really miss the "old" days of having at least a few craft shows on HGTV. Not everyone wants or can do a total demolition of their home or backyard.
I miss the old HGTV, when the shows were more about making your house a home, and not about major renovations or house buying. I would love to see shows like "You're Home", "Decorating Sense" and "Room by Room" come back. Not all of us are looking to love it or list it, or spend $20K on a kitchen redo.
Dear HGTV, bring back this kind of programming!!! We miss shows that actually show us how to do something ourselves. Please don't let ASID and their cronies bully you into their political agenda. Designers have their place and function, but most humble home owners would much prefer to learn how to decorate all on their own!
