Others might feel differently but I appreciate that you don’t put annoying bits of music in your videos when you’re not speaking. ☺️ Thank you for this pattern! It’s being added to my future projects (but I need to finish some first...dang start-i-tis! 😁)
Yes!! Just straight forward project work. No overtalking for this lady. She gets right to it. I love what about her too. No music is great as it’s very distracting.
I'm going crazy, my hoard of yarn is at the cottage & I want to start this right now. Leaving tomorrow do I'll just have to remain calm. Lovely. I like your silent pauses and that you don't feel the need to keep chatting away. Live your channel.
I love your videos. Your camera is close enough that I can easily see what you're doing. And you explain clearly and precisely what you're doing. I appreciate you!!!
This is a great tutorial, beautiful stitch! I have committed to not buying yarn for 6mos or until I use up my stash 😬 this should speed the process, lol
Right now I’m using the trinity stitch to make a blanket for my soon to be new niece, Eden. Once I finish this blanket I’m working on I plan to make a blanket for my toddler with this stitch because I freaking love it.
I agree with Robin Moore, I need to finish at least 3 projects before I start this. But, I have been searching for a stitch to do a wrap using Paintbox metallic DK yarn. I think this will look stunning. I worked a sample of this with the yarn & really liked it. But, first, the other 3, darn.
Just recently discovered your channel and I have already shared it because it is so well presented, clear and simply a joy to follow; no annoying music or distracting, irrelevant chatter - thank you 👍👍
This stitch would look lovely on a mobius scarf. In fact after I have finished the scarf I'm knitting as a gift I'm going to start on this. I have just the right yarn in my stash. Thank you so much.
Thank you for posting. I adore the projects you select as they all seem to make the best use of the ombre / self-striping yarns. I am using this stitch to crochet a scarf and matching ear warmer for my mother; I'm liking what I see so far on my own WIP, and I'm a tough critic of my own work. I'm grateful your videos are so easy to follow.
Just found your tutorials. Thank you, thank you for doing them. I've recently picked up my knitting needles and crochet hooks. Taught my 11yr old granddaughter how to knit.
This is a beautiful stitch. I love the repeat pattern because I tend to forget with my disorder. Thus makes it so easy for me to complete something a lot quicker. Thank you so much. Many Blessings. 😁❤
Public service announcement 🤣: I’m not affiliated, but Lion Brand runs great sales that would be perfect for this stitch. 4 or 5 skeins for $10. I can’t resist these sales so I actually have enough yarn. However, today they’re selling Low Tide 5 for $10. It’s calling me... 😀. As always, Thank You Robin! 🥰🥰
The triple puff stich is beautiful. I' love all your videos. Wondered if you might do a wedding afghan crochet along. Or a romantic valentine afghan. I have a granddaughter getting married in the spring and would love to give her a beautiful afghan for her wedding. Thanks. Carol C.
I still have to go to work in an hour, but when I get home am definitely gonna watch this again and try it out. Looks sooooo cute!! Have a great evening Robin, and stay safe!
I haven't crocheted much since moving to Florida, but that's gonna change today! I love this stitch and the cross leaf stitch! Getting my hooks out as soon as I get home!
Your voice is lovely! I just watched your other (v-stitch) puff video. I have some soft, squishy, chunky, self- striping yarn; I am working on your other pattern now!
Oh Robin I'm trying over and over to get my tensions right, as I'm not willing to give up on this beautiful stitch. The loop from the sc leading into the first puff gets long and distorts my whole cluster. I'll keep at it, I'm determined!
@@HookedbyRobin I did it! I made a hat from bottom up and the next rows start with the 2nd puff and end with the 1st puff ch2 and slip to join. I wish I could a pic, thanks so much Robin!
I think that's beautiful. I started a blanket with ice yarn rainbow Picasso with one of your other puff stitch videos i think I'll do the other half of the blanket in this stitch cause I think I like this stitch beget. Keep up the good job in teaching us how to make beautiful things.
I’ve seen this stitch before and would love to do a hat and scarf set I’m just not sure how to go about doing the hat, for it to look complimentary it would have to be worked from the bottom up and I don’t know how I’d go about doing the decrease 😳 The stitch in the other tutorial was called the Lotus stitch 😊 Thank you so much for your easy to follow tutorials 💗
Lotus bud or Lotus flower stitch I believe. I had some left over variegated yarn that I'm trying this with. Pretty so far. Purples, greens and blues with a tiny bit of yellow.
Hi 😊 new to your channel 😍 and I love love it! Triple Puff stitch, mini- Bean stitch!!! Like I said just found your channel and your beautiful accent. I have been crocheting since I was 7 or 8 and I feel like I am only beginning...lol
Hi this is my first comment on you tube. First I want to say thank you for sharing all of your beautiful work and explaining everything so clearly and having your videos nice and close up so we can actually see what you are doing!! Also I love your yarn colors unfortunately most of them are all sold out when I click the links! Lol. Once again thank you from Massachusetts USA!👍
I have recently found you videos and I am impressed by their clarity. Have you considerd giving gauge and yardage info? After learning to work these stitches it would be helpful to understand how much yarn is needed for a project.
I love this. Other than being a yarn eater, can you think of any drawbacks to using it in a cardigan? Perhaps just in the front panels with a less distinctive stitch on the back (if I can control myself!! Lol!!). I imagine it looks amazing in all the lovely color changing yarns out there. Out the window goes my personal opinion that complicated stitches look “busy” with multicolor yarn!! Oh well!!
I would love to try this for my very first hat and scarf set. I love your videos and teaching style. You’re so clear and detailed that I’m never confused about where to put my hook, thank you! I have a beautiful RH ombré yarn, 4 medium weight. Do you have a pattern for both the scarf and matching hat? Note “first hat and scarf” means I’m still kind of a beginner. Thank you!
I love the yarn and the stitch. I believe I saw on here that it was called puffed fan stitch but I could be wrong. I have seen it before though. I didn't even watch the video unfortunately 😲. I'm going to go have a look though. Great tutorial Robin. Tyfs God bless you
When I ended my first pattern row after the chain I ended with needing to do a sc st instead of the two puffs at the end. I hope it still turns out okay.
Can you do a vid on how to change colours and how to finish off these things as well. Im super new and have no idea how to do it other than cheat by using a yarn that changes colour on its own
Hi Irene, these are the yarns I used: Yarn in thumbnail: Boho Cygnet Spirit in shade "Harmony". Yarn used in video for demonstration: James C Brett Party Time in the shade "PT9". I hope that helps! 🥰🤗
As for me personally, I am going to call it the Fleur de Lys Pouf Point (pwăhn, the n being formed in the mouth, but not allowed to escape it because it is intoned nasallly, barely makes a sound - just like the s in lys)
Love textured stitches? How about trying the Loop Stitch next! th-cam.com/video/oDiozYbH7oI/w-d-xo.html 👈🧶
Can u do more amigrumis? I love them! And ur tutorials rly help me tysm!
Just because you asked in the video, I believe the name of this stitch is the Lotus Stitch
Others might feel differently but I appreciate that you don’t put annoying bits of music in your videos when you’re not speaking. ☺️ Thank you for this pattern! It’s being added to my future projects (but I need to finish some first...dang start-i-tis! 😁)
I also appreciate that there is no music playing. It just throws off my concentration.
So do I. I particularly hate it when there is annoying repetitive music. Often I just click the off button.
Yes!! Just straight forward project work. No overtalking for this lady. She gets right to it. I love what about her too. No music is great as it’s very distracting.
Your voice is so soothing, you needn’t add any unnecessary noises🙂.
Agreed! No distractions for my auditory way of learning.

This is a beautiful stitch! I know a few ladies that are going to love new scarves made this way. Perfect for gifts.
My name Lovie first time doing this stitch and enjoying. Always happy to learn something new

Love patterns such as this because you can crochet them while listening to audiobooks or watching t.v. Thank you!
I loved the stitch, the color and the ASMR of the music of the hook working with the yarn 😍
Thanks for sharing. Beautifully crafted as always.
You have such incredible stitches & blankets!
Thank you so much Laurel! 🥰🤗
Thanks for all your tutorials. I want to make all of them. I love to make baby blankets and think this one would be lovely.

I looove puff stitches 😍
This must be a massive yarn eater. I might just try it any way. It's lovely.
Hungry but beautiful! 😂
Perfect! I need a good yarn eater pattern to eat my stash away! (So i can buy more yarn lol)
So maybe a scarf or cowl and not an afghan, lol.
