Awesome review. I think i may have found the answer to my question on your hornet post. The sound of the triples exhaust and induction roar are just great 💪🏻.
It is really nice, I love that triple roar. Like I say, the Honda is more of a workhorse, if you want something to commute on and give you thrills on weekend rides the Triumph would be my pick.
I agree. I keep trying to be practical and think mpg and say it’s only for commuting so doesn’t need to be anything special. But looks , sound and fun keep stopping me being practical.
Hi Tim, I've tested the Tiger xrx, the Ducati scrambler and the BMW r1200r. I'm looking for a round town bike to have fun on weekends. Was thinking of testing the street triple and the street twin. Which would you choose for an everyday ride?
Good question mate. Out of that selection I am least familiar with the BMW. Now I have a lot of love for the Street Twin and if I was just using it in town I think it is the easiest to get on with, the low torque, ride position and clutch assist make it very user friendly but if you're planning to stretch it's legs and possibly do some longer distance on it for the weekends then I have to say the Street Triple fits more situations. Street Triple is a great choice wherever you're taking it. Hope that helps.
Evening pal, just seen your review ride of the Striple, very good, one question what did you think of the mirrors? I'm looking to buy this model but a lot say the mirrors need changing to bar end, thoughts please.
The stock mirrors aren't terrible, most people just think they look like bug antennae and swap them for aesthetics. My striple has bar ends and it looks slick.
Hi! Hope to get some advise from you. I’m a new rider and I have just finished my MSF course and get a full license in Bulgaria on Yamaha Fazer FZ6N. Presently I’m on the market for my first motorcycle and I’m in love with Triumph Street triple 675 the generation after 2013. I really like the Street triple but do you think I will be OK as my first bike. Yamaha Fazer FZ6N is with aprox 90 HP and a little less torque but I have no problems with the bike during the MSF(that includes and some hours in city riding). So how do you think….shall I go towards the Street triple as a first bike or something smaller like R3, Ninja 300, Honda cb500f or Yamaha MT 07 etc. My intentions are to buy a nice second hand bike and I really do not want to get something small and after short period to search for replacement. As you have already experience with Street triple I’m looking for your honest opinion. Forgot to mention that I’m 33 years old and more calm car driver than 10 years ago Thanks in advance to share your opinion and waiting for more videos from you!
I think you'll be fine on a Street Triple. If you've already ridden a 600cc bike then this isn't a massive jump for power, it's just a little more responsive and alive, it's a very easy bike to get on with, and one you could grow with, just ride safely. The R3 or Ninja are nice bikes but you wouldn't keep them long. You're right that it's good to get one after 2013 though because they updated the machine quite a bit.
Hard to say as I only really know the UK market but just looking at Autotrader now I'd say it's possibly a little high, but only a little bit. Might be wprth trying to bargain them down about $200.
Just bought one of these, and it's bloody awesome (watched too much American tv!!) Once again your review is spot on, and to the point.
It's such a good bike
Great review! Your channel deserves a lot more attention!
Thanks, that's really kind.

Great review! Thanks for the post mate.
What he meant to say was "almost completely flat" torque curve. Not "almost completely linear".

I had no issue with them. I like the bar and mirrors anyway because they look good in my opinion but the stock set are fine for visibility.
Thanks, agree bar end look good, maybe I'll check and then look at an upgrade later.
