Bloody love that review. I tried to get one of these but couldn't get finance. I will 💯 be getting one when I can. Your review sealed it for me, good honest feedback, thankyou so much 😊

I bought one of the first Street Triples in 2008.It was my first bike after I passed the test at age 57 never having driven a car!Still got it now with nearly 47000 miles on the clock. And I bought an Aprilia Tuono 1000R a few weeks after buying the Triumph. That bike was stolen 3 years ago after I did 52000 miles on it.As for the Triple I still love it.Downside is it goes through stators every so often. Now on its 5th!But I sent one away for a rewind at West Country Windings but it only lasted about 2 weeks. Also the stock suspension is a little bit cheapskate and needs replacing after about 15000 miles.I replaced the rear shock with one from a Honda CBR600 which just needs a few spacers.I installed a manual cam chain tensioner. The engine is an absolute peach and sounds fantastic with Mivv Suono cans.Brakes are superb as well.I am a self taught home mechanic and I do the valve check ,re-shimming if necessary ,fork oil seals, swingarm removal and greasing and stuff like that. But overall I think the Striple is a fantastic bike and I am always looking for a slightly newer model.Triples rule!I even bought a 2006 Speed Triple so I got the two of them.People ask me which is my favourite and I always say I love them both in different ways.Just like kids!

Yes.. you don't NEED a quickshifter. But believe me you'll never be able to live without one once you've felt and heard it on your lovely 675 👌

Got mine 3 years back new, same model, last of the 675, and I agree with your review. Love it and she is a keeper for sure as you said. Don’t need anything more than what this bike can do, very forgiving and reliable.

Harry I've had a 2014 675R for the last year, it's a great bike. I agree with the points you make about the bike
    The induction roar is addictive.
The mirrors aren't very good,I also bought some Ebay bar ends, still got to fit them.
The suspension on the 'R' is very firm,I think I need to get it sprung to suit my weight,I only weigh 10 1/2 stone & I think the R is firmer than the non R.
    That induction roar...

    Does the Powerbronze screen help?

Just got a 2015 street triple for my first bike. Was really intimidated by how big it was. Hearing everywhere that a 600 is too much as a first bike. But this one is just perfect. I love everything about it.

Same here, a 2015 triple R for my first "big" bike after having a 125 for 6 months...

I’m looking at hopefully getting a street triple 675 R, current ride a KTM duke 690 and want something more smoother than a single cylinder. Did ride the trident and loved it but the street triple looks beautiful.

Nice. Sounds Japanese at low revs and then that British raw at high revs.

I just bought a 2013 triumph Street triple S. It's my first road bike I have been riding dirt bikes most my life. I am very used to shifting without the clutch on my KTM 500 and out of habit found myself doing it on my triumph Street triple. It did concern me that I maybe should not do that on that bike.
I love my new bike it only had 1,800 miles on her I have had it about 1 week now. Only issue I have had after I after I get on the throttle hard my check engine light and ABS light comes on.
Can you tell me what possibly that could be? Thank you for your great videos I really enjoy them.
From Freddy in North Carolina cheers.

2012’s had a shorter 1st gear, which made them insanely quick.

The midrange on the later models make up for it 😁
