Hi. This procedure is what I need but a bit much for me. I have talked to many iPhone repair folks and nobody will try this. Do you know anyone in Los Angeles that can do this?
CAn I replace my pro max ear speaker with another official oem pro max speaker? Or replace the entire screen (oem) with ear speaker in place without losing Face ID?
You could desolder all of the components from the old cable and desolder all of the components from a new cable and solder on all of the original things that came from your phone, and that should retain face id because the serialized chip that is paired to the phone is inside the flood illuminator. I changed this earpiece and lost face id reason of changing it was I damaged the connector. Now I lost face id on iphone 11 and don’t know how to get it back phones working fine just no face id

Thanks fo r the video. after unsoldered the two points, with the heat gun do you remove the glue or is there another soldered part (min 6.30)?
So if the cable for the ear piece is damaged there is no way to save face ID?

you must microsolder in order to keep face ID.
If the earpiece is perfectly fine but the cable got ripped, is there a way to replace only the cable and keep Face ID?

i tried your way, the result, speaker is working ,but face id not...
What if the speaker is fine but the flex cable ripped?
