Thank you so much for this video, I haven't played since Vanilla/Kunark and have been playing on one of the TLP servers. I went to guk for the first time and had no clue what I was doing and it was super frustrating. This video has made the zone way more manageable and fun, thank you.

There were a lot of surprises for me too. The gargs got me and the undead inside the crusader fortress!
Great vid! Being a Druid I’ve always been an “outdoor” kinda guy. I haven’t ventured into LGuk in almost 20 years. This vid gave me the courage.

getting to lower guk is insanely easy, follow the right zone wall taking all right turns. I can do it with my monitor turned off

Getting lost is the reason I avoid that place after 40
except epics =) why? because they are a pita! (especially monk!!!) got my ranger, mage and SK (1.0-2.0) but I do not have my Monk epic and I have started it about 4 times since 2002 lol. Not sure why....hell I'm going to start it for the 5th time today! not sure why....just to get the ol' whistling fists. Monk is level 60
I got a lot of requests for Epic tutorials and walkthroughs, but EQChronicles (formerly FC seven) has done all of them and his work is exellent. so now I just direct people to his channel.
@@doctornachoz8099 I'm not kidding I finished the monk epic Yesterday now considering its after midnight. There is no way in hell im not running around all of classic, velious, kunark, and pop smashing everything...and turns out its completely soloable at level 103 hahahahah

I think it's an ornament and not a shield. Cool looking to walk around with, but no shield.

WTS FBSS 20k pp, ruined the game when they added the auction and made e commons no longer a trade zone
I would have had to kill all named mobs while doing this on principal alone
The only real trick to getting passed mobs without getting aggro is going in between server ticks.
How do you know when the server ticks? Can I set my controller to vibrate when it does that?
@@doctornachoz8099 When I used to charm solo a long time ago, I would keep my inventory window open, watch for my mana to tick up, wait about 1 second, then run for about 4 seconds, then sit again. This allowed me to be considered always meditating. I assume this would work for this situation too? I need to go back to LGuk soon for another camp and will test this out.
