    I haven't tried this on an enchanter but it works with bards when pulling. Something many don't even consider with bind sight assuming this is similar. You can do the gnome vision you were talking about and bind sight. Now you can lull targets via the sight of the target. This makes clearing a room or even getting through it a lot easier if they see invs since they won't see you while you are actually casting on them.

    What a great explanation! I appreciate this so much.

    I would take a different viewpoint on the early pet. Yes skip level 1, you'll hit 2 before it's worth heading back to vendor to sell off the bonechips etc that you've looted. The level 2 pet however is fantastic and will double your DPS (or more) when soloing. For the first few levels (4 perhaps) it's quicker and easier to just tank mobs for XP than find a group. From level 4 onwards the mobs start to get harder and it is faster to handle them as a group, but the level 2 pet still makes soloing inbetween groups viable. Thanks for the walkthrough, Dr. N. Good stuff.

      Yes came here to say this. Fun fact, in classic eq the level 2 pet was actually level 4. So now on TLP this pet will absolutely destroy the newbie mobs and effectively power level you from 2-4.

    A good enchanter can sure save a group, and it is a bit of struggle to keep track on which mob needs to be remezzed in what order, and of course making sure the tank gets aggro before breaking.
    Breeze is also one of those spells that gives more mana regen than clarity does when you get it, but later on Clarity is going to be better.

    You are massively underselling the low level animations. When you get them they are 2 levels higher than you and with a rusty do great dps. Yes they are weak...if you take for them however you can massively accelerate how fast you kill. Not using them prior to charm is just stupid.

      Casting the pet at level one costs 12 mana (level 2 is 24 mana) which can be as much as 50% of your mana at level 1, depending on your race. So, if you're in a group and you are always OOM because you need to cast a new pet every other fight, they're not going to like it. At low levels you need to conserve every bit of mana so that you can have that extra mana ready for an emergency mez. Remember, you're on a new TLP server and everybody is going to be naked for a long time so group mana efficiency is not stupid.

    This video has been the single most valuable resource for me on Aradune. I'm now level 15 and I was wondering what your thoughts were on low level quests. Are they worth it? Should I just try to focus only on leveling until I'm 50 and then worry about equipment? Maybe you could make a video and talk about quests and equipment in general. I remember doing Stein of Moggok a long time ago but I'm not sure if that's the way to go still.
    Thanks CM99!

      At the low levels it is better to level up. In classic the good loot is at the higher levels and you can sell one or two extra items for the stein of moggok. If you're a caster you can probably make it all the way to 50 naked.

    120 charisma cap or 200 cap? Which is better. Have a guildie calling me stupid for running 200 cha

    • @doctornachoz8099
      @doctornachoz8099  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The CHA doesn't make much of a difference on Charm or Mez. The level of the mob and magic resist is more important. When I was on Selo TLP I ran a low CHA enchanter in the 120s. This year I have close to 200 CHA with buffs and the charm still breaks just as much. I think you get diminishing returns after 120 the same way prices at the vendor don't change much after 120 CHA. To make my charms last longer, I ask our mage to cast Malo on the mob and this makes charm last even LONGER! Think about it this way, if you are high enough to have 200 CHA and are a raider, your guild would prefer you to have more INT/MANA so that you can cast more buffs without medding.

    Hello CM... will you do the spells after level 50?

    • @doctornachoz8099
      @doctornachoz8099  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I could. What do you think the next level range for the spell guide should be? 50-??

  • @everquestaccount7384

    I always use animation. That’s extra DPS.

    • @doctornachoz8099
      @doctornachoz8099  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Later on it has a few more hit points, but early in the game it dies in 2-3 hits.

    • @everquestaccount7384
      @everquestaccount7384 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      CM99games disagree. You’re fighting mobs that maybe hit for 5 damage a hit. If your ench stays in and takes a few hits, that’s added DPS that’ll help you cruise through the early 2-3 levels.

    not sure if i want to play ENC that i love or just play monk or sk with shaman for a change ahhhh

    • @doctornachoz8099
      @doctornachoz8099  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Monk/Shaman is the strongest pair by a mile (excluding enchanter/cleric). It might be a little slow at the start, but once you get past level 30 and find a group, you'll level nicely! Even at the early levels the monk Hand to hand DPS will be way higher than other melee classes because it doesn't need to get gear.

      @@doctornachoz8099 Convinced myself on sk over monk atm, just so they start together and i can snare and self heal a bit more, though ave never played either that much so cant fully decide

      @doctornachoz8099  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      SK may be tough because they're dependent on weapons and gear so it may take your SK a while before it gets the dark reaver which is the first good weapon. If you're making a troll SHM, you should be able to meet up with your Human monk at level 9 in SRO.

    Does faction spells help at all in the game anymore?

    • @doctornachoz8099
      @doctornachoz8099  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Factions spells do matter early on, but late game not.
