Actually if you look at about 17:12 Martinez’s foot comes off the mat, they were out of bounds, action should have stopped before takedown was awarded.

the announcers did not explain it, but i think you will see martinez out of bounds before he picks up the takedown.\
But what you guys didn't see was at 17:02. Martinez's left foot was out and he lifted his right foot. Out of bounds, no takedown. Time back on the clock.

On the imar "non-takedown" I think imar lifts his inbounds foot off the mat right before gaining control, and with no points of contact in bounds they ruled out of bounds prior to takedown

What happened to nolfs riding time in regulation?
It goes away when the match goes into sudden victory. If you go to the 2nd tiebreakers who ever has more riding time wins or whatever even if one goes down and gets Riden out and one goes netural and no takedown

Quickman0520 I thought so too. The rule is you have to have complete control of the body to have a pin in the 1 second allotted time. Meaning if you're just laying on the opponent, not ahold of a part above the waist, you're not going to get a pin as easily. They consider it a "scramble" which is dumb.

The ref isn't racist at all. There was no takedown. Imar didn't have control of the body ABOVE THE HIPS. By the time he was able to wrap his waist, Nolf was standing. Saying it should have been a takedown is like saying an ankle pick is a takedown. It doesnt count unless you have total body control (waist).

I know it's hard for you to figure these things out but Zain Retherford is in a different weight class than these guys. Wrestlers have to wrestle against guys that weigh the same as they do. They're in different weight classes, understand?? Do it's pretty hard to say somebody's 10 times better when there's no way they're going to be wrestling each other. After three years you're welcome.
