Great video. FYI, the Gamewell/FCI pull station at 5:47 is actually made by Signal Communications (SigCom) in Woburn, MA. These can be branded under many different names as is the one you have, and can be single or dual action, toggle or momentary switch and can include a glass bar visible through the open window below the T-handle.
For next system test on the adt unimode 10ud can you have the European call point please

For the Johnson controls bg12, they use the notifier key

You know for the back of the BG12 you can insert and push a screwdriver in the bottom mounting hole to reset it without the key or opening it.

Hi, my son's has got into US fire systems since watching your videos. I've got him a Simplex 4903 9144. It has a transformer and a capacitor and it looks to me like it needs 25V audio signal. What do I need to make it sound like in your videos? Do US control panels have an audio signal output? I'm in UK. Thanks so much for your help. Andy
Hi Andrew,
Be careful with purchasing simplex devices. They can often be difficult and require extra parts in order to work. On the bright side, I believe that model of alarm is free-run and should work fine. To make the speaker work, (assuming you don't have a voice evac panel) you'll need an amplifier with an audio source. I would like to note to you since your in the UK if your gonna buy a us panel at some point make sure it's a special model with a 220v power supply or use a step down transformer from 220v to 120v to run the built-in power supplyd without blowing them out

The rare ones I have are a Simplex 4050, 4040, and a 4903-9101, a wheelock 7002-24, and a Fire Lite B1 horn.
