Good to see you my friend. Nice interviews!!
Likewise Jeroen! Thanks and stay in touch 🏆
Thanks, Chai. For me, a Chiang Mai guy, Bangkok is too big for me but lots of choices. When I stayed near the Royal Palace, it was a great area. No skyscrappers, not terrible traffic, not too many people despite all the temples drawing visitors. But when I stayed in Sukumvit it was the proverbal concrete jungle: buildings blotting out the sun, cars and people and noise everywhere. Not for me. But I could comfortably live in the nice and quiet areas of Bangkok. I guess that is one reason why it is popular... something for everyone, and each different world just a quick BTS or MRT ride away.
Ey mate! Bangkok has so many different area’s. I'm happy I'm able to check out a new one almost every time I'm visiting. Chiang Mai is still my number one city in Thailand though haha. I hope all goes well :D
Great topic and some very interesting people. There's probably a lot more 'farangs' living and working in Bangkok than one would imagine. Nice one Chai 🤩
Thanks Steven. Haha that’s right. The city has gotten very popular to live in and I can certainly see why that is 😁 it’s bloody hot today though 🥵🤣 cheers!
Love a Thailand street interview 😊❤
Thanks! ❤️ good to know you are watching
Back to my favorite country:) Great interviews bro ;)
Yes mate! A few Thailand videos are coming up. I never been to Cha Am which I'm looking forward too :D Cheers!
Great to see the Thailand street interviews again!
Thanks! It’s good to be back in Thailand for a while 😊
Hi Champ Chai! Great to see you in Thailand. I just got back from there last December. I plan to be back in October and visit the southern parts including Krabi.
Thanks champ! Krabi sounds just wonderful. We're here to discover more of Bangkok and surroundings for this stay but probably going south as well later this year :) Thanks for watching again 🏆
I plan to retire probably to Bangkok in a few years. I still think of other cities in Southeast Asia but I keep zeroing in back on Bangkok.
Nice to hear Swampzoid 😁 Bangkok is a great place. Whenever you’re looking for places to retire I’d also keep Phuket as a an option :)
What a good interviews with the expatriates in Bangkok.
Ey Yasin! Thanks 😃 the big mango is a great city to be in :) have a good evening
@@Chai_Travel Have a good evening to you too Chai. 😀
It was a pleasure meeting you, sir!
Likewise 😃
Noan is the most honest guy you interview till date Chai 😊😁 Nice video already subcribe to globaltravelmate ❤ take care brother 🏆
Haha lovely mate, Jeroen is a nice guy :D Always good to team up with him. Take care and have a wonderful weekend already 🏆
Great interviews! Love your content! Brengt goede herinneringen terug van de tijd dat ik nog in Bangkok woonde 🙂
Thanks! Fijn om te horen 😁 groetjes uit Nakhon Pathom, Thailand
Chai, Nice Interviews, and also nice you talked with a Dutchman Jeroen. Jij mist ook mama’s eten. 😉🙏
Haha thanks Gert! Jeroen is a very knowledgeable man so it was great to have him on the show for a little 😃 🥲 natuurlijk! 😜
Ive been to several places and countries but Thailand never fails to mesmerized me. My favorite country of all time
Haha nice one mate. I can see why!
6:20 I like the background of the spirit house.😂
Good job well done champ.🏆🎉🥳
Hey you! Haha Thanks champ ;) It's good to be back! 🏆
Useful 👍
Glad to hear :) thanks for watching
Are you staying in the Lancaster Hotel perhaps? I think i saw you at breakfast. 😊
I think a look a like Chai Travel is in town 😝 that wasn’t me. Next time say hello 🤗
I worked there in the year of 1984 - 1990. Bangkok is a good place to visit & work for a short period.
Nice! That’s a while again 🤩 ever been back lately? A lot of things has changed I’m sure 😁
Best advice, go to Bangkok! GlobalTravelMate is right :D
The problem is, I keep going back, due to missing the very things people might dislike, the busy city vibe and the heat are not a problem for me, if only I could get a longer term Visa without having to travel outside all the time, because I hate staying for just a few nights in any country in SEA, a month is the minimum I travel these days unless it is Singapore which you can see in a couple of days.
Haha yeah he’s a great advisor 😁
@@Chai_Travel I agree, he is clearly an expert at the end of the day so I will always listen to his advice 😝
ขอให้มีความสุขในประเทศไทย
ขอบคุณ
Welcome back, may I said "home"? 😊
Thank you! Haha good to see you again and yes you may 😊🙏 I’m always happy to be back ❤️
I want to work with Chai and travel the world. I'll be his cameraman😅
Haha yes please! 😝🤳
@@Chai_Travel Hook me up Chai! Hook me up!
Nice bro
Thanks!
Thumbs up 👍 Champ
Thanks champ 😃🏆
I've never been to Bangkok before but I want to visit the city for at least a week! What would a U.S. citizen like me need to go and live there in Bangkok? Because I only get a 3 month visa on arrival stay, but after that I don't know what would happen.
Hi hi, that’s a good question! I wouldn’t be able to answer this tbh. I’d recommend come over with a tourist visa and stay for a few weeks before you start looking at a long term visa.
@@Chai_Travel I don't know how I would come with a tourist visa because I don't need one to enter Thailand. Since I have a passport I get visa on arrival. But it's only for 90 days.
@@tam1010 that’s it. Just come over and see how you like it first 😊
But Chai, why didn't you talk about YOUR visa?
My vlog videos are about me. Those interviews are more about the others :)
Chai bro I likes your all video , which country do you like Malaysia vs Thailand????
Thanks! Ow I wouldn’t like to choose. I truly love them both :)
I wonder why many Dutchman find easy way to adapt in Thailand? They have endured difficult situations and political turmoil in Siam since many centuries ago. 14 years ago in Bangkok there was political unrest, floods, protests, coups.
love ชัย
Fo you have a website for the last guy?
Sure! He actually has a channel youtube.com/@globaltravelmate?si=XPC9I30rrA0jvHy- I hope it helps :)
@Chai_Travel thank you so much. Great video
Thank you too! Say hello to Jeroen for me please 😉
Stayed in Bangkok for 6 weeks and I noticed noticed that teaching jobs didn’t pay well, I mean Cambodia pays more now. Plus the traffic was unbelievable. I couldn’t cross the road until 4 am haha na China is better or Cambodia for more of the authentic south East Asian culture.
No worries :) I'm glad you find yourself comfortable elsewhere :) Bangkok is not for everyone
I'm a foreigner how do I relocate to Bangkok
I’d come over first to see if you like it. Then find someone who wants to hire you in your field 😊
Have a nice day @ Chai 🤗😉🫰❤️😊👍🎉🎊🇹🇭
Thank you 😊 you too 🌞😁🏆
Hahaha that guy on 5:59 said: "public transport doesn't go everywhere in the CITY if you go to somewhere like japan, Korea or China." That's outside of the country, not only the city🤣🤣and it's quite difficult to go to Japan with public transport 😂, was he trolling or just a mistake? For the rest cool dude!
🤪
Whut
I like Malaysia more than Thailand bro ,Chai bro I will go to Malaysia in 15th april and I will meet you chai bro ❤❤❤❤
We all have our favourites ;) I'm not sure if I'll be there but I hope you have a great time 🤗 Thanks for watching
In recent news, there was a tragic incident at the Siam Paragon mall, resulting in loss of lives. Additionally, two groups of Thai and Filipino transgender individuals got into a brawl in Bangkok recently. I hope the police work hard to make the city safer
First, there is no such thing as "trans". Use the terms "fake" or "pretend". There, all fixed.
Thailand is still very safe and its safer than in China. I love Bangkok even when I am not Thai
@@AmericanInThailand ladyboys acknowledged that they are not women unlike American insisted on being women. u woke people. LOL
Wow, I haven’t heard this news yet. My thoughts are with the families and friend ❤️ this should never have happened
The mass shooting that occurred on October 3, 2023, has already been 4 months ago. This incident, which took place in a shopping mall, can be considered a rare event that only happens once in a long time, perhaps even several years.
What does being taboo mean?
1. forbidden or disapproved of; placed under a social prohibition or ban. taboo words. 2. (in Polynesia and other islands of the South Pacific) marked off as simultaneously sacred and forbidden.
You use of taboo with your 1st interviewee is incorrect
I’m sorry but I’m pretty sure that the word taboo is correctly used it this video 😅
@@Chai_TravelYou are correct, Chai. LOL!
Banger$ is a great city to visit but wouldn’t want to live there … 🎉
