Dude I never even played this but man the voice acting is so good. It sounds so natural. The way they talk over each other and just the flow of the conversation sounds so natural. Impressive.
Dude the secret ending had me going so much that when I heard about it I searched it and found it. I was shocked to see a zombie virus strain evolve like that or even become that deadly. The way O'Brian's voice went deep in pitch as he said "I'm sorry" just shows the control he still has along side the super jump onto the helicopter rail and inside the cabin.
I did laugh at my first playthrough because i wiped the horde at the old sawmill ages before even unlocking the south map. so once i showed up to "clear it" for boozer and the truck, it just started the cutscene with Deacon heavy breathing like hes been in a battle when thats not the case at all lol.
Wait like you liked the voice acting lmao thats odd because I thought it was awful voice acting one of the reasons I put the game down never to return. Lines all felt like they were in a vacuum not connecting with previous lines and the emotion level changes by the word so bad and that main guy is usually so good so I dont blame him
Dude Bears are pretty damn durable in real life. Maybe not with explosives but they can shrug off small arms fire like it's nothing. Damn walking Tanks
Kinda weird how they show Jessie's horrific and detailed back scar and then immediately cut to Deacon being burnt and it just looks like burning charcoal, its pretty obvious its an overlay texture when they show it that close and it even starts dissipating seconds after it gets applied. Like they could've pretty easily hid that by just angling the camera to Deacon's front.
Maybe its because it's difficult to change the model polygons and textures to go from smooth skin to a burnt pattern? That's the only explanation I can think of.
@@siNicSiew The way they did it makes sense and it's extremely easy, they used an overlaid polygon with an animated texture over the original model, their mistake is that they didn't put the polygon close enough to the character model, so it looks floating...dumb move for such a nice work around
Ok, kudos to the guy playing. Not only did he include the whole boss list and made the video so smoothly without commentary, but he also played the game masterfully. It was almost an art the way he carefully and swiftly planned every large scale attack, executed every move, and overall how he played the game. Never before have I seen such raw skill from a TH-camr playing a survival/horror game, let alone with hordes of that size. Bravo to you, my man. And on hard mode nonetheless.
I missed playing this game so much i watched the whole video! i remember running from the first horde like it was real! then with time, i start enjoy hunting every single freak out there while i'm driving my bike. one of the best scene was when Deacon traveling on his bike and the song just started... that was something made this game something ales. this is one of the most underrated games i’ve ever played (and one of the few i’ve platinumed) it’s beautiful, the story is solid, gameplay is great and just driving around in post apocalyptic Oregon is a blast.. wish someone would make a sequel for it one day 🙏🏻

i toke out the breaker even without fighting. while browsing through the skills menu i saw "ability to kill breakers silently from behind", until that time i ve never saw one and thought i definetely should gain this skill. after some point game gave me this mission, never hesitated go from behind from him. one knife stabbing in the neck and he is gone.

Over 2 years, I'm just starting from scratch my 4th play through. I have 100% completion. I've never done that OR payed ANY game more than once so far. This one has me hooked because there's so many ways to play it with different load outs and different skill levels. It's just an AMAZING game!!!!!!!
I really enjoyed this game. Traveling around on the bike I never felt safe and was always on edge for what I could come across especially the Screamers ugh. That tension made it great. I think the Chemult Horde gave me the most trouble, but they were all fun to puzzle through.
I mean Ragers and Breakers can fight and kill off huge swathes of a horde if not outright kill an entire horde by themselves. Provided the horde doesn’t number above 150 and is made up largely out of Bleachers. Ragers can indeed kill off hordes numbering around 200 individuals, thanks to them being able to tear apart a Breaker with relative ease.
It was such an excellent game along with horizon dawn that you sometimes wonder who was even rating these games! Yes there was bugs but they slightly improved after time but that’s what happens when systems are provided with the newly released systems! Loved the gameplay at times but the storyline was phenomenal and I give the creators credit! Not sure what the storylines will be and if deacon/boozer will be in the second story or what it will be but love this game when I first played it
Watching you play this was amazing and that secret ending only pisses me off even more that sony decided not to make the second game, maybe if they don't want to then they should sell the IP and let someone else complete the story by making the second one as long as they also do a pc version.

This game was truly a masterpiece. Immersive story and game play. The open world was big enough but not too big to distract from the story. The hordes were such a nice bonus to an incredible main story. The availability of different weapons and options of fighting styles made it easy for any player to have their own flair when it came to playstyle even though stealth is clearly the focus (or at least highly encouraged), especially on harder difficulties. Loved it. The second play through is even more fun. I had forgotten all about the secret ending. Shit gave me chills thinking about the implications of it. All around great game. Would definitely buy a sequel if one ever came out but I think they decided not to do one, sadly. 10/10 recommend to anyone who likes zombie/survival games. It's a great mix of both and requires a lot of strategy the higher the difficulty. Frustratingly challenging at times but in a good way.

I finished the game just yesterday. So amazing game. So amazing story. Took me 60 hrs. Now im finishing side quest and killing all hordes. Not the last time i have played Days Gone. Achievements in new game+ or survival mode comming! Cant wait if Days Gone 2 will be some day.
I remember that every time i saw a bear i would send the full force of god onto him don't know why i always killed them but it was fun since I had a sh*t load of ammo on my bike

It was really fun as you get more and more confident (I never believed I could take a horde out on my own but once you unlock skills you become much more adept). The appearance of the bloaters were, for me, much more daunting than their counterpart in TLOU (first one), and I was dreading fighting them from the Jefferson Airplane (loved that reference/easter egg) crash.

@Neil O Connor oh yeah, the mission for Sarah. That one was brutal first play through. Once you know which weapons to use, it gets a little easier (2nd playthrough at least). What was the highest difficulty you tried (if you remember)?
one of the best games i've played for last five years. Best part is dealing hordes with machinegun, when you aiming at a chokepoint, and the gun shoots few shorties right before going full auto. ta, ta-ta, ta-ta-ta-ta, brrrrrrr.
Loved this game. Need to make a sequel and/or multiplayer version. Where you can team up and create one community or each person has their own. You either ally with each other to trade or fight another for supplies
I don't remember well but radbrad just one stab a boss( bear or cave horde) by a perk that allows you to kill the enemy that pins you down when you break free
The secret ending was just... Unexpected! I was thinking its just a simple zombie outbrake with some evolution crap like strengh or speed how we could see but... Evolving like THAT? No way, just no freakin way dude, they can even use veichles! They are not just dangerous, they are deadly as Hell! We need second part of this game! I wanna see how Freak gonna drive a tank lol
if there was/is a sequel to this masterpiece I have a feeling o'brian will be a boss or maybe a ally again with zombie like abilities but his conscience is still there and has control

It's a really awesome world like TLOU but mixed with hordes. It's my favorite game in a very long time. Took 60-70 hours to 100%.

I finished the game just yesterday. So amazing game. So amazing story. Took me 60 hrs. Now im finishing side quest and killing all hordes. Not the last time i have played Days Gone. Achievements in new game+ or survival mode comming! Cant wait if Days Gone 2 will be some day.
I remember that every time i saw a bear i would send the full force of god onto him don't know why i always killed them but it was fun since I had a sh*t load of ammo on my bike

Honestly this is one of the best stories in a game. Its not quite RDR2 level good but its pretty damn close. Really close!! Crazy good!

@Neil O Connor The re-playability was huge too. It was really fun as you get more and more confident (I never believed I could take a horde out on my own but once you unlock skills you become much more adept).
The appearance of the bloaters were, for me, much more daunting than their counterpart in TLOU (first one), and I was dreading fighting them from the Jefferson Airplane (loved that reference/easter egg) crash.
@@raoulduke344 yeah they were terrifying so tanky and hit like a truck I will always remember that one mission where you look for yeast and had to fight 3 of them unless you sneak passed them overall really well said
@Neil O Connor oh yeah, the mission for Sarah. That one was brutal first play through.
Once you know which weapons to use, it gets a little easier (2nd playthrough at least).

one of the best games i've played for last five years. Best part is dealing hordes with machinegun, when you aiming at a chokepoint, and the gun shoots few shorties right before going full auto. ta, ta-ta, ta-ta-ta-ta, brrrrrrr.

Loved this game. Need to make a sequel and/or multiplayer version. Where you can team up and create one community or each person has their own. You either ally with each other to trade or fight another for supplies

I don't remember well but radbrad just one stab a boss( bear or cave horde) by a perk that allows you to kill the enemy that pins you down when you break free

The acting and facial expressions are great in this game
The secret ending was just... Unexpected! I was thinking its just a simple zombie outbrake with some evolution crap like strengh or speed how we could see but... Evolving like THAT? No way, just no freakin way dude, they can even use veichles! They are not just dangerous, they are deadly as Hell! We need second part of this game! I wanna see how Freak gonna drive a tank lol
