Thank you for the beginning steps of showing to enable custom content. I spent weeks downloading stuff, only to see it wasn't working because I never messed around with custom content before. No one else included this step in their walkthroughs!
my game is acting like there hasnt been added any cc at all, i extracted all the zipped and rar files, the file is spelled correctly, i enabled cc in my game, i have all meshes needed and not a single piece of cc or mod is showing up in my game. help!

I can spend an embarrassing amount of time looking for CC. I only play Sims 4 now, and I still go looking for CC for the older games. Just to see what is there. Very good tutorial!
I had to say thank you for this tutorial. I could never do as well of a job as you just did, attempting to give instructions in a foreign language. I may be assuming that English is a 2nd language for you just because of the heavy accent. Regardless of what the reason may be, you did an excellent job! You are very knowledgeable.
Hey, i have a plan of starting to play with cc and mods and i love the way you explain in this video. If its okay can you please make a video on how to mod and basic stuff about modding and using SimPE. Im rather lost reading all the instruction and im afraid of breaking my game if im doing it myself without experienced instruction

I browsed modthesims yesterday and found some mod requires SimPE which i have no idea how it even works in the first place 😂 so maybe a basic introduction would be nice. And maybe how to use and apply mods bcs im planning to add mods like ACR, Community Lot Time, Community skilling, or editing sim lifespan into my gameplay. So basically this video but about mods 😅 I will be waiting for your next video!!! Thank you for your hardwork!
Thanks for the helpful video. The only problem I am having is getting the content installed in the game. I already have a DL folder with the extract contents but every-time I click on the file It opens up in word documents. Also my game has the enable checked box.
Oh! That shouldn't affect them in the game I don't think, but if you want to make sure try downloading SimPE from here: modthesims.info/d/30839/simpe-latest-version-0-75f.html and set it as default application for. Package files. Let me know if it helped 🤗

The Projects folder is a different one, there bodyshop saves stuff if you want to create your own CC. The folder should be called Downloads with an 's' at the end, so make sure you did call it that way and also make sure you use a Capital letter at the beginning because it's case sensitive!

Hey. Do you know if it's possible to download and use CC if you downloaded the Sims 2 from oldgamesdownload? If yes, do you have any tutorials on how to do it or know any? There's where I got my TS2, and I don't have that folder for TS2 under EA games on my laptop.

It doesn't show the dialogue window at startup all time, it only does so for cc/mods that alter the normal function of an object. :) Otherwise you have to enable it in game settings when you are in a neighborhood and restart the game!

@@CozyPixels Its always different in front of the camera/microphone. As soon as i have to record myself I kind of forgot all the words and how to pronounce em. Like when I am playing phasmophobia with randoms.. I am like a kid and find myself not using the walkie-talkie. But you are doung great! U just got me to download sims again after a few years. I'm doing everything correctly, but I cant see my mods in game. I'm also using CD's. I don't have all of the expansion packs/stuff packs so I'm not sure if that affects anything. Please any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
My only concern with CC for TS2 is the Clean Installer. If you get to download Packages, great ! Nothing to be done, but otherwise when you download SimPacks, the Clean installer can only install one at a time, and its such a slow process. Sometimes lots dont show up. You spend 3 hours installing walls and floors, all packs and its becoming so annoying. If anyone has found a better program for installing PACKAGE files, I will be forever grateful to be informed about it, it will save me a lot of nerves, especially when i need to reinstall the game and must do all this all over again
If you have the chance to get the sims 2, I would definitely recommend getting it instead of the sims 4! 😊 I think it has much much more potential, unfortunately you can only buy it second hand now, but there are multiple ways to get it for free, I recommend checking out reddit.com/r/thesims2help :)
