    The roar of an old sewing machine, a breakneck speed of 8 mph, it will leave rubber on the road....If the tire falls off. Great video, looking to visit you this summer, from Seward.

    That is a really cool car! I was kind of surprised at how "putt-putt" it sounds and how slow it is. ;)

    I'm surprised how much different it is from an '03 or '04. The floor-mounted parking brake is a definite improvement, as is the ratcheting spark lever. Everything under the hood looks the same, though, and I'm wondering if they really changed the transmission at that point... It doesn't go straight from Low to High, and then have to 'click' into the spring-loaded reverse to get back into Low? (The '04 was the first car I ever drove, in parades in the 70's - it got about 3 years to the gallon. LOL) BTW DoubleMrE, they weren't as slow as they look in this video. Ours could hit 25-30 MPH, and at that speed you were hanging on for dear life!

    Nice video but really not hard to start it from the seat if the compression release is working correctly... ether that or I am the "stout man" you have been looking for.. :) I have a video of my 1903 on my channel if you want to see it.

    It's a lot like a modern side by side with the mid engine, and the engine is more modern than a Ford (not sure if it's more fineky or harder to mass produce and it si still just a one cylender)

    It has been a while since I was last in on the site, I wish more people would get involved.I now have two Replica's and plan to be showing them both as touring vehicles all over the North West. My latest is a much smaller vehicle than my original one, But I am told when I get it back up and running it will be a bit faster than my big car. This Car I really was taken when I bought it, It was a total piece of trash and junk when I received it. I before I started rebuilding it have over $5500.00 in it plus $1750.00 Shipping and Handling.
    I have taken all measurements and have bought a special Exterior Marine Plywood to build it. I have had to clean the water Damage from the Motor and all the wheel bearings. It was in a terrible Flood and it was not disclosed. It was supposed to be a vehicle used to transport people around one of Author Geoffrey's resorts in Florida and be in perfect shape. Well I bought in in January and I am still trying to get it all back up to where it will be a show piece. I learned one thing for sure, never buy anything through these sites and to always make sure you are getting what you see in the photos and on the advertisements. I love my Curved Dash Oldsmobile and if you travel most any roads or highways in Northern California you may see me out there. I sponsor Classic Tours in Northern California and go on old roads these cars were designed to travel on. But I also travel the Interstates
