International 4700 Brake Job

    On my 95 freightliner motorhome ten lug which is also full hydraulic disk brakes the lug torque is spec-d at 450ftlbs..probably the same for yours. BTW, not sure if you did but the slides for the disk pads that they ride in the calipers on need to be cleaned up real well of rust, almost polished and a high temp synthetic brake grease put there or your pads will hangup down the road and keep rubbing against the rotors. Not terrible, but annoying and will wear the pads a bit prematurely. These brakes are old school before they started using the replaceable stainless shims so more maintenance. Also the rotor heat cracks are no biggie and common, they just should not extend to the edges, if so, deep, or lifting then replace. If visible,but none of the above damage just run them.... most all heavy rig's rotors you will see tiny hairline heat cracks in the surface, just nature of the beast. If you run it heavy and look at the front rotors you probably already have some hairline heat cracks showing.
