She just strikes me as such an open-minded and brave person, she is not afraid to move beyond her comfort zone and explore everything she can, whether that be in her acting career or her everyday life. I think she’s quite admirable 💕💖

The political struggles of the 19th century are not just relevant, but they used the same ideological tactics and terminology and everything. So of course the political novels of the early 1900's are still relevant. We haven't really gone anywhere since then, we just have iPhones now.
I would say we're going backwards and a big part of it is the iPhone. At least Huxley and the rest knew the definition of fascism and dangers of assimilation into the hive mind.
The problem isn't what Aldous Huxley knew; a major component of the German population in the 1930s didn't know the definition of fascism, and neither does a major component of the U.S. population now.
It's one of my biggest pet peeves that people think we're incredibly politically divided right now BECAUSE of technology. We always have been, and blaming technology is a bad way of actually addressing the problem.
Shakespeare is still relevant. Arthurian legends are still relevant. Greek mythology is still relevant. Brave New World was written yesterday, so obviously it's relevant.
