If you go to the basket near the till in the fishing department there lures in there cheaper that multi pack of savage gear are like £3 or something I go to the Stockport/Cheadle store often
I normally have a look on that little basket, but normally there's the most random stuff that I don't even know what's for in there 😅 I don't go there a lot so I might just miss the days that have some lures there 😌
@@zombiebitefishing agreed there's things in there and it's like wtf is that there for last time I went in there was a broken reel a tub of pellets with 4 pellets in
Well done buddy. Years ago the lures were much more basic than the ones today but they still caught loads of Pike. I honestly think if the Pike is in the mood and you twitch it nicely then they'll take it, expensive lures don't impress the fish. ATB MMMD
Thanks a lot mate! 💯 I bumped into a few people that's been fishing for pike for many years, and they said it used to be just spoons and spinners! I believe that in more pressured waters, a different lure might make a difference, but at the end of the day you don't need expensive or 100 different lures to catch a fish! Thanks for watching buddy
@@zombiebitefishing I used a lot of crankbaits in the 90s and they were cheaper and fancier than some of todays but just as effective. I must admit I do like the soft plastics. I just don't think you need the premium expensive brands to get results. ATB MMMD
@MudMaxMetalDetecting older crankbaits looked really cool, I think I have a couple of old Shakespear around somewhere, I need to try and catch on those! Yeah, I prefer soft plastics, but there's so many to choose from 😅 and yeah I have a lot of budget videos using cheap stuff and normally catch on the cheap stuff too!
If you go to 14:40 there is some dude hiding in the nettle bush
He was taking a poop lol
What??? 😮😮 haha what an Easter Egg 😅😂😂 well spotted 😄
Haha quite possibly 🤣 I had no idea the guy was there and even edited the video without realising 😅
Bigfoot 😂
@@PBclipz 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good work Had a jack pike on a £15 rocktrail spinning rod from aldi, was impressed with the rod for sure
Thanks mate! Always fun to grab some cheap gear and catch some fish! I did that with some cheap rods from AliExpress and Temu before 😅
Great video keep posting ❤
Thanks a lot Lee 🙏😀

2nd Last spot was nice
Then little lake right? Shame is just so shallow and weedy but might have some slightly bigger perch there, hopefully 😀

can u say exactly where the lake is? i dont mind taking a little peep if its not far
Hi mate, the lake is members only, no day tickets unfortunately. You can try at your own risk, but the bailiffs are always around 😅
Is than another way of fishing the drop shot - I thought it went under the bait?
No you're right, and that's a little dropshot kit, I just rigged it with a jighead instead of a dropshot, just personal preference 😄
Put a like now to watch the video 🎣👍
Legend buddy 🙌 😁
Is that the go outdoors in Cheadle
Yeah that's the one!
Wtf is that GoOutdoors, its proper stocked, ours is 💩 in manchester 😂
I've been to that one as well, not great either 😅🤣 we need more variety though, there was like 3 brands of lures there 🙄😅
does anyone know which canal he was fishing?
