Beautiful. My mum is terminally ill and I know of three people recently who passed too young from cancer. So glad he is one of the good ones. I adore his music and his songs have helped me through hard times too Xx

Went to a David Gray gig back in the late 90s, Civic Hall Wolverhampton. I was blown away by the drummer, absolutely mesmerised the whole night. So tight, so good, he was killing it back then and ever since.

Don’t know David Gray much at all, but happen to see him last weekend, and the drummer here now just does his second set in concert. I was definitely focused on his unique and interesting style, very entertaining.

Same here, I was on a 6 month tour in Kosovo with 45 Commando, girlfriend played silly games while I was gone, we split up ... reconciliation happened once home on leave at Xmas, we went to watch David in Blackpool live, Christmas of 2000.... so many memories, being a young lad, young love... feels like yesterday

David in a full pinstripe suit, big dumb grin like a little kid, Craig in a Hawaiian shirt jammin out with the brush sticks like he's in a metal band, and a full orchestra filling the room with sweet resonating heartache. It's exactly what is perfect about David Gray's music. Absolutely perfect.
This is off the charts! It lands so soft but cuts so deep. One of the best live performances I've heard. He's still got it.

I’m the opposite. That album was the soundtrack to falling in love and now we’re at the tail end of the marriage I find it very hard to listen to.

My favourite David Gray song! When it played yesterday l was singing it to my one year old grandson. My eyes were filling up, as some of the lyrics seemed so appropriate! Looking forward to the Cardiff show!

This was one of a number of songs that have been meaningful to me and my beloved sweetheart. She passed last month after a 4 year dance with ovarian cancer. Lots of memories that music conjures up at any given moment that remind me of what a gift we were given to be with each other.
