Those two things you've unscrewed first look like brushes for the electric motor. They wear out with time and can be replaced, that's why they are easily accessible
no, you can shove a thin screwdriver in the hole where that button was or you can hold the end of that shaft with two pliers and twist in opposite direction
The locking system has been nonsense for decades..Dremel engineers seem to lack the IQ to do a fix...everybody just nores through the holes in the amature and uses a rod ...amen

that's correct 👍
I believe that the "screws/not screws" are the brushes for the motor, very important parts!
that's right
So you left the lock mechanism off and use a drill bit type shaped to lock while exchanging bits?
that's right, I've removed the button completely and I'm using the other end of a 2 mm drill bit to unlock it
Helped me. Thanks a lot
I'm happy to see that
You called some parts in this video useless but they’re all very vital to the tool though I do understand that they are cheaply made
I know, I did check the book after making the video 😆
@@n_8708 repairnen dont need boobs to fix Dremels..morons only
@@garyallport18I like boobs. I guess I'm a moron
Do you have to take it apart all the time to change bits?

No offence, but how is any of this "quick"???
well... you open the Dremel and remove that button. Quick
@the187alx 😊 $6 part vs purchasing a new $200 dremel. Thank you for the how-to!!!
you're welcome, I'm really happy if it helped
Yeah I know right he like a whole FIVE MINUTES is crazy for taking apart a 120$ tool modifiing it and putting it back together
