Genuinely thanks. It's been a lot of years I've been looking for someone that could speak. The? Variety. Of senses you use timing and wisdom is everything thank you.❤
@@MacGyverK From my point of view I’m grateful to anyone helping me to resolve a problem, secondly your explanation are well done and help me to resolve my problems easily, and the fact that peoples helps each others no matter the frontiers and the languages barrier add fuel to my optimism toward humanity. Again thank you and have a good day =)
To be honest I wasn't sure exactly what the repair was until I read some of the comments. It is the pin that wears down so won't locate in the locking holes in the shaft. Now I understand and will fix mine. Incidentally, mine is a very old 300 model and it has only just failed. Kind regards Paul from 48 Spokes 🇬🇧
You know the most fustrating thing is it is brand new only used 4 times....and can l say barley regarding those 4 times. Thank you for this tutorial l live on a island we really are not getting any mail at this time so to perhaps buy parts if needed would be at keast 4 to 6 months. Will try this to see if l can get it working again. Can l ask is this common? First the drill bit was stuck but than l remember using it at low speed might cause the bit to come out which it did. Thinking after that l could unscrew it but still no luck cannot get it un-tightened. Does exactly this. 😔 thanks again.
Hoping for help. My Dremel 3000 has this issue where those 2 plastic screws on each side that house a copper spring (I don't know what that is), have a strange issue. The Dremel works only if I press hard on one of them. The moment I release pressure from the screw, it stops. What might be the issue and is there a way I can fix it please? Thank you.
Well explained the condition of your Dremel. I understood. It appears that the "carbon brushes" inside both sides of the Dremel are broken. If you have to press it to make it work, try stretching the copper spring a little. If this does not solve the problem, the carbon brushes may need to be replaced.
Thanks very much! I found out I need a new set of carbon brushes. There wasn't much left and the spring had broken off and interfering with the rotary. So happy with you demonstrating how to take it apart. It desperately needed a good clean, I am ashamed to say lol
I have used my Dremel 5 times or so and I got this problem. Now I don't know if I should send it to the warranty or if I should fix it, maybe losing the 3 year warranty. Yes, in Europe we now have 3 years' warranty.
mine has done the exactly same it is ridiculous for the price you pay for the tool compared to the cheaper one. I have a goaxwe or and it is far superior to dremel and cost less than the dremel flex shaft to buy.
it sucks, i used it three times and already the lock button is not locking so I can't change the bit, returning that piece of garbage anmd buying a chinese clone for 1/3rd the price
This is so terrible and deceitful. You show a closeup of the least important part and not the worn out nub that locks the shaft. The proceed to hid it later when you put in on the table. Filing the nub is a bad idea because you remove more material that is needed to drop into the shaft lock hole.
Reeeeeeeeespect. Out of all the videos I just watched regarding do-it-yourself repairs and maintenance on dremels , yours was by far the most comprehensive and you didn't say a single word as well as the subtitles being in a language i can't read. Yet somehow I pulled more from this video than all the other ding dongs 🙇🏻♂️ with the IQ of a cucumber 🥒 , that I'm not sure if they should legally be allowed to operate even the simplest of power tools. 🫨🙃videos taken upside down, out focus and from twenty yards away...🤦🏻♂️🙄 the only for sure thing that ever enters the frame is their bruised, cut up, burnt and neglected wounds on their hands and fingers. Not instilling much confidence in their competency's. Whenever someone spend# more than two seconds talking about safety glasses and masks, that's usually a good sign anything they have to say about the actual mechanism is not going to be very insightful. People will usually talk first and longest about their erudition on a topic. Ohhhhhhhh!!!! And you're the only one who cut the fu***** sticker down the groove , lol everybody else did a freaking sticker removal tutorial. Is this really a variable for the layman? 🥴"well I took all the screws out but the darn thing just wouldn't open. Probably because mine is made in America, we make the greatest dremels" duuuhhhrrrrrr

Zeer helder weergegeven stappenplan met oog voor detail! Hulde! Ga even verder uw kanaal 'bestuderen'.
Nice Modification. I hate how wimpy the shaft lock button is on Dremel tools. I love the music and production in this video too! Bravo!!!

It cannot be said that it is common.
4-6 months! It's hopeless.
Please fix it carefully as you see in the video.😅
it is common just look at the views of this video
well done explanation of the sequence! Thanks

Wow this is WhatsApp i looks for , thank TH-cam for sharing 🤩
Very good thanks😊

Great video, could not be better. I will use my lathe to repair my pin.

@@MacGyverK Thank you so much. I'll try stretching the copper spring, and if that doesn't help, I'll order new springs.
hola! que herramienta usas para sacar los tornillos del dremel?
Hola. Es una llave hexagonal.
saludos, gracias por el video
Excellent! It worked thank you!!!!
Thank you😄
how to change bearings on dremel
can you please name the screw driver or allen driver to unscrew the dremel? the regular allen does not open it. thanks.
You will need a hex bit driver to loosen the dremel
Try searching for hex bits.

Happened to me on my second use. I think I tightened it too much but still extremly flimsy design in my opinion.
