Fighter is getting no love. Everyone wants to be Spearhand and Thief and I don't blame them. Warrior is what I'm most excited for so thank you for covering it.
I’m thinking between fighter and mystic spear hand. The parry looks soo satisfying to me. Of course if the monk class ends up happening that’s my priority
@@ziiiiiiii754I’m with you my man, archer looks the most impressive to me. I’ve never seen an archer class look so involved and dynamic, truly next level
My first playthrough I want to max out the fighter vocation then do the same in the warrior vocation. My second playthrough I'll try out the archer vocation purely.
Me too. First playthrough, Fighter and Warrior. Second, Archer and Thief. Third, Spearhand And Magic Archer. Then finally, Mage, Sorcerer, and maybe Trickster. And if there are new vocations then things might change
@Ravagerblade The first dd has one save slot, but if you change the difficulty, it would start the game over, but you'd still keep your skills, vocations, and levels. It would also give you the opportunity to change what your character and pawn looks like. Hopefully, dd2 will be the same.
Thanks for doing these in depth videos. Kinda hard to tell how the vocation changes from the first game. Not sure why ign didn’t do this with month of coverage outside the trickster.
see i think in DD2 they will just have a stat bonus that grows with level and changes based on vocation, plus the original system. so you could have a character with unique stat pool instead of having every character having identical stats if their the same level. this way they can just give warfarer a lower bonus, this way it will also prevent warfarer from being absolutely broken after reaching the level cap. What do you think?
Unrelated, but I hope the demo comes out around the same time that resident evil 4 remake demo came out that first full week of March, since the full game is releasing around the same time that resident evil 4 remake did. These vocations you have been explaining with these cover videos makes me just wanna try them all. 😂 Not a single one feels underwhelming.
Genuinely disappointed with how they seem to be making Warrior more of a self reliant vocation with a lot of bases covered instead of relying on your pawns to do the things you couldn't or buy time for you to charge a single mighty blow (AoD, which is sadly no longer with us). Not a big fan of taking a few slow powerful hits and trading them for a barrage of faster ones even if they are the same amount of damage. You didn't need a MH GS bash in DD1 because it was heavy on positioning, timing, and your pawns' ai getting it's shit together, they seem to be banking on the pawn ai being far better in this game so it's such a missed opportunity when they make the Warrior rely less on their pawns and more on their new bloated tools. The replacement for whirlwind and the shoryuken could have easily been merged into one skill (making the shoryuken slash a charged up skyward slash). I wish they would have made the vocation just as difficult as the first game, I liked the difficulty of mastering the mechanics of Warrior. People saying Warrior was one of the worst vocations only made me like it more, now that it looks like one of the better ones I think I'll settle for a simple sword and board.
@@OSKGaming123 that makes it simple with little power. thats not hard mode in the slightest. not even close to being hard. honestly it would only be hard for game journalists.
@@JLG35X Who cares about whats OP and whats not. It's not an online game so I believe the balancing shouldent be to much to worry about. It's stil going to be fun :3

Still playing Mage/Mystic Spear

Fighter will probably be my first vocation :3

Fuck that sorcerer is where it’s at
Nobody wants archer either… sadly im alone this time

I'm so happy Warrior is getting love. I'mma play Warrior as soon as possible and will even be using it in my Wafarer setup
Damn this was DEEP. U did ur research 👍
Yessirrrr
Warrior having a parry is just beautiful man
Every single vocation looks so sick. That being said, it was never up for debate. Warrior4life
I was playing ddda today and im so exicred for sweet spot hitting with warrior sounds so satisfying
Warrior got me through the dark arisen dlc so I'm sure it'll get me through 2 as well
Man every day that it gets closer to release I get more and more hyped. Only 20 days now.
Impact and dominance augments seem like they need their names swapped.
Guts build here I come!
Gonna be the first vocation I beat the game with, and will always be one of my 3 warfarer slots.
Great work
Thanks

How you gonna do that with only 1 save slot?

Can you hold down the fury skill to stay blocking ? Or is more do you get put out of the blocking animation if you’re not hit by an enemy?
*BONK INTENSIFIES*
Warrior my love
Please don’t forget the archer
just 4!? well its an upgrade at least dunno why the limit warrior like that
Im gonna wait......

Fingers crossed the magic archer got that buff it needed so bad
Bruv, you mean nerf. MA was very op in dd1
@@MrOMMSSM until you got bitter black equipment I always found if very lacking
who thinks warrior is the unofficial hard mode of DD1? its literally 80% jumping attacks. its a very easy class.
Half the skills, no range, very specific playstyle to make it still not as powerful as other vocations, etc.
@@OSKGaming123 that makes it simple with little power. thats not hard mode in the slightest. not even close to being hard. honestly it would only be hard for game journalists.
For something like warrior u either make it unfair or unreliable.. there's no way to make it balanced
To be fair, all classes can be op in the original game.

This isn’t a mmorpg
The female warrior reminds me of Ronda Rousey😁
