I recently discovered CAN "make your path cross again" with Rook by going to a Great Rift Stone and to to your history of hired Pawns. He'll be the first pawn you technically hired and will be in the very bottom of the list. He's stuck at lvl 10 with a Minotaur Badge.
bro...this is what i've been saying about Ferrystones, people are just WHINING about the fast travel system of DD2 when they're not even playing the game. it's ridiculous, it's literally the same thing as DDDA.
You can randomly find a pawn walking with the sphinx parent moniker and inside of hiring you just pick them up and ferry stone them to sphinx without hiring them. Same for vergil and if you wanna use the seal phial for the old man for vase.
I’m currently playing on a new save file as thief. It’s so fun running around as walking nuke man. Exploding all my enemies with blades of the pyre and powder blast all the while being straight up immortal.
This would be heaven for me, cause hearing the pawns in this one drives me insane. I could not do this without my pawn in DD1 though, I love her too much.
The Drake outside of Harve village is random encounter, there are 7 other locations where Drakes can randomly spawn and that Drake probably flew off to it's nest on the western side of the Bridge of Theodracus the Second.
I'm not much of a character sliders guru, so I'm sure you could replicate it from default faces or find something similar online on Reddit or some such.

Lesser dragon at Melve, use ballista in tower, 2 hits its dead. I'm sure you know. Guess you wanted the challenge. But you'd get Dead Ringer spear to sell. Helm Skull splitter is a lot better and more dps than D&Q and since you don't need to climb and can also attack harpy. But it's less challenging.
@@OSKGaming123 You need pawns to properly use the ballista because they basically become part of it's crew, without pawns you'd have to rotate the ballista and change the angle of the shot manually.
I’m gonna try this on my 4th playthrough just for shits n giggles fr. Rock the warfarer and see how it goes. Rn on my 3rd playthrough I’m just trying to limit it to my main pawn and I. Just two bros out in the works surviving

Also, fuck Pawns. I spent RC on some higher level ones. They ran straight into the first water we saw and died.
@@buffywasright idk if you use eternal grace to cover magic, get battahl upgrade, windmill core skill you get pretty good damage but at the end of the day the bubble shield makes you invincible as long as you manage your stamina so nothing will kill you anyway it should nerfed as well as formless feint imo

question.. if my pawn is dead do they not level up as i do ?.. if so that is very interesting maybe i could make a level 12 pawn as a level 60 arisen and kit them out with end game gear to help out new players
So during this run, my pawn stayed level 1 until that one post-game quest where I completed it while he was in my party. You 100% should be able to equip your pawns at level 1 with endgame gear if you do the quests right
Yeah just throw the pawn in the brine immediately like I did and rush to battahl through Guerco cave and to the Volcano cave through the grotto in south battahl
People that complain about the fast travel are missing the point, and likely juat trying to play it like a standard open world complete checklist playthru and bumrishing the main story. The point isnt to warp around the map, nor is it to have a boring trek bsck and forth. The point is in discovery with every trip you make, evident by how much stuff so many people have never seen or found in this game
Does your Pawn not level up at all during a solo run? Is the finders token for the sphinx riddle still the first place you found a seekers token in a second playthrough?
@@OSKGaming123 as I watched to the point where he attended the coronation, his Pawn came back and started getting levels back to back before he threw it back into the brine, so maybe they do to some capacity ?
No, if you do it right and immediately forfeit, the pawn will not get levels from the coronation quest. The only quest that gives mandatory xp is in unmoored world after you reunite.
pawns are more annoying in this game than anything, how did they manage to go a step back in that regard, game feels okay for a while but then you realise there is basically no story at all and its just an open world fantasy game with not a lot going on, feels like there's only 4 enemies then the big unique guys, not worth the 12 year wait imo
If you ask me, this game isn't too easy because it lacks difficult bosses but because it allows you to become far more powerful than any enemy in the game. Compare that to Elden Ring where you're really only getting this feeling of being a god when returning to the beginning...
Such a disappointment. This game lacks content and is way too short. And the story sucks so fucking much. None of the characters or quests really seem to connect.
Cool thing about the lesser dragon fight in Melve is that you can two shot it with the giant ballista on the tower for a bunch of early exp and money if you sell the crystals

The story is kinda different in dd2. Many changes from the 1st game that probably mean certain lore is not the same

not exactly accurate. i have been farming this drake a lot and it spawns there regularly every 5-8 days

Start as fighter to get thew, then thief for vivacity or just stay thief it’s op, or mystic spear hand also op
Spearhand OP? 😂 It’s a stylish class for traversal and DMC fans. Its damage output is one of the worst in the game, just above mage and trickster.

How many All Heal Elixirs did you use? Your grey health jumps back to max (indicative use of that elixir)
Maybe 2 or 3 the whole run mostly in unmoored world. Most of those moments were me resting at a house
